Robert may seem rude or scary to some of you, but he really does mean well. He gave me a huge discount and fixed my car good when it was falling apart. My frame was bent, my transmission was leaking and breaking, my cruise control was loud and didn't always work, pieces were loose everywhere, and I'm surprised my car passed inspection. He fixed all of it and it was supposed to be $3,400 but he only charged $2,400. It got fixed within a few days.

i m having my car fixed through AAMCO and customer service is very poor, and he man in the front has a very bad attitude, and was getting irritated with me for calling checking on my car, and he keeps jacking the price up every time i talk to him he was very rude and wouldn t even hardly give me time to speak, and he would tell me it should be done by this time or that time and it never was. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

These folks do the job and they do it good! All at a very fair price. They aren t looking to screw you around; they just want you on the road safe and secure. I ll definitely be coming back if I need work done on any of my vehicles in the future!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

This place charges $110.00 per hour labor!! In most cases I say u get what u pay for NOT this case! You pay 110 bucks an hr for a 20 dollar an hr mechanic. Needed transmission lines they broke my transmission oil cooler and while feeding the lines thru separated my muffler from the rest of my exhaust. Do NOT go to this place unless your insurance company is paying and I still wouldn t go then!!!!!Service: Transmission

I've been very pleased with AAMCO. I've dealt with them before, but 1st time at this location. The owner/manager was very friendly and professional. The mechanic was very knowledgeable and helpful in doing the transmission service and oil change. Would always recommend AAMCO. Thanks Robert.

Don t let this place a hold of your car. We took a car up to have seals put in. He wanted to rebuild the whole transmission. After taking it apart he was refusing to put it back together. Told us to come haul it off and he would parts in a box. We had to contact aamco before we could get our car fixed. He is not to be trusted.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

My transmission failed while traveling. Robert was able to inspect my vehicle on Tuesday, get the parts and back on the road Thursday morning. I took his recommendation and bought the upgraded parts and the extended 3 year/50,000 mile warranty, which gives me piece of mind. I just had a vehicle done through warranty here. I have never been treated bad by a business like I did here. The man at the front was very rude and disrespectful to my boyfriend both bringing the vehicle and picking it up. My boyfriend even after everything was said to him, he even said thank you for everything and tried to shake the man's hand and he just ignored him. Thank goodness this was a warranty situation and not a paid one or I would be very upset period. Respect goes a long way especially in a business aspect, some people need to realize that. Repeat customers is a lot to a business and word of mouth. I definitely don't see how this place stays in business.

Love these guys. Super quick and quality work. Had an issue after rebuild (part fault not theres) and they had it all good to go in less then 24 hours! Car feels absolutely amazing. Drove over an hour and a half because Roberts guys do quality work. I'll be back if I ever have any kind of issues with my cars. Took amazing care of my corvette after loosing 3rd and 4th gear.Update 2 years and still strong. Needed paperwork since I'm selling the car. He was able to pull it right up for me!

Have had my company truck for over 2 months. Supposed to rebuild transmission. I picked it up in about a week after it was supposed to be fixed and didn t even make it home. They have had it since still haven t got it fixed. Supposed to buy a rebuilt transmission from someone else. It is a real sad situation when you specialize in transmissions and have to purchase one. It s a Chevy 1500. So it ain t like it s something difficult. Stay away from this business. They are rude and have lied to me multiple times in the past 2 months.Service: Transmission

They are very professional and honest. Great prices. I'm very pleased and they hold up to their warranties! But the engine however isn't fixed still.

The map shown is wrong, but the address is right. These guys collect food for the hungry instead of charging diagnostic fees. How awesome is that! They are friendly and honest. The guy in the shop mike showed me some concerns he had about my 2004 ford explorer on his inspection. He took the time to explain everything to me, and answered my questions. Today was the second time i have had my truck here. The first time they rebuilt the transmission about 10 months ago. Today i had a abs light on. Mike took me out and showed me the wiring had been rubbed through. Easy fix and i was back on the road.Janet M.

My transmission started slipping so I took my 94 Chevy k1500 to a garage in town. They told me it was gonna need to be rebuilt but they didn't work on transmissions. After calling around checking prices, I got the cheapest quote from John at Aamco in Claypool Hill, VA. He told me they would tow my truck for no charge if they repaired it. He told me it would be ready by Monday. This was Friday morning. I agreed and they towed the truck and diagnosed it. I needed a total rebuild. They did exactly what John said they would do. I had my truck back Monday good as new.I've read several bad reviews about other Aamcos across the country. I'm happy to say this Aamco is in a class above the rest. They charged a fair price and were quick to get the job done properly. I plan on returning when I need any work done to any vehicle I have.

Guy was very Rude, Condescending and sexiest. He tried to make me pay for a transmission although mine had a warrenty. He told me multiple lies just to try to make more money. I think they are crooks and uneducated. He treated me like he was superior to me because I am a woman. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there!

I had a terrible experience. They kept my car for 6 months and ended up spending $3000, but they couldn't solve my root problem, and now I need to find a specialist. They seem like really good guys, but this deal was bad for everyone involved.

Excellent service from them they worked with me on payments and cost to do work on my dodge ram I couldn't say enough great things about these guys .. always friendly when I go there. They are my new and permanent go to for my Family's vehicles..

Very rude and poor customer service. Charges 3,000 for low quality work. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to go there and get treated the way I did.

Never go there again..cost 5000.00 and still had to take it to any shop get get it fix yep I still got the paperwork on it
