After my car broke down on I-81 (not a great place to break down), I called the rep at Hart's who gladly gave me quotes to help me determine if I should tow it to a local shop or back to NoVA. I couldn't see what exit I was near, but they were able to figure out my location from my crude description. Also, reasonably priced! Glad I called.

We were stranded Friday night at 10PM. Robert hauled our vehicle to their shop and got us back on the road. Very pleasant and professional!

Our daughter was driving alone on I-81 yesterday returning to college for the semester. She was involved in a 7 car pileup. Miraculously, she walked away unharmed. We were several hours away from her and unsure what to do re: towing, where she should go, etc. Robert with Hart's could not have been more helpful or kind to her. He towed our car and took her to the office where she waited with kind and helpful people until we arrived. Robert was helpful to my husband and me by phone as we sorted things out. When we finally arrived to get her, he even helped us move all of her college "stuff" to our car. Every parents' worst nightmare is a call from your child that they've been in a wreck and are scared on an interstate - in our situation yesterday, we were blessed that Hart's was nearby and took such good care of her until we could get there. Robert, THANK YOU!

One of our older cars broke down in a Broadway parking lot and needed a tow to our preferred dealership. It was late afternoon when I called for a tow, but I explained it wasn t an emergency, so Hart s promised to call back & try to help the next morning. Sure enough, they called, and I met one of their wrecker drivers, Jason. Jason was super friendly, worked quickly, and took extra care to suggest & use a dolly setup to keep from damaging our AWD compact. I knew right away we were in good hands, and I appreciated Jason s kindness & professionalism while safely getting our car across the county. Hart s are a local business looking after local folks with friendly & fairly-priced service. Years ago, they also did a fine job towing one of our cars that got rear-ended I m glad I remembered to call Hart s!

Thankfully, I personally haven't needed to be tow by them. Doing security however the were the go to towing company. Always, had my back on these college campuses when I needed then and came in a timely manner. I would definitely feel safe calling them for my services

I cannot say enough good things about Hart's and their driver, Bryan. We were on our way to our son's first family weekend at his college in southern va. About 2 hours (and around 10pm) into our drive our vehicle completely died. We drifted onto the shoulder of exit 257. After calling 8 other companies (including insurance and dealership road service) and being declined, due to not servicing the area or refusing to take passengers off the highway. I called Hart's, there within 40 minutes and was more than willing to take us (2) to a safe place. Bryan towed our vehicle and us back to Frederick Md. Professional, friendly and all around great people to interact with.

My tire completely deflated on a really steep, unpaved driveway and Hart s towing was there within an hour of calling! David was our driver and he was extremely helpful and understanding. He offered to drive us to a local restaurant and made sure we were able to be seen at Firestone before unloading the car. Thank you!!Service: Car towingService: Car towing

After a scary situation at 3:30am Jody showed up in no time at all and was very kind, patient and very knowledgeable in helping us figure out a plan for where to go (we were just passing through town) he helped calm my small children's nerves from a wreck with airbags too. I can't say enough about this company and their services that go above and beyond great customer service!Service: Car towing

They gave me no more information than the office number, which is located in Broadway. We arrived to the Broadway location where they informed us that they didn t have my car there. They had it at the Harrisonburg location. I was required to call an hour before coming and waited over an hour for them to arrive to get my items from my car. When I called the morning of they had me come to the Broadway office from Harrisonburg/Rockingham, when I arrived they told me my car wasn t there and sent me back to Harrisonburg! It was a waste of time, gas and especially patience. There was poor customer service. Poor communication, and overall it was an extremely frustrating process.Service: Car towing

They came out towed my care to the shop and even dropped me off at an Hotel close by so that I was within walking distance. I'd recommend them if their car ever broke down in Timberville Va... thanks guys

So I called Hart's towing for a tow it was a 45 minute drive the price you just couldn't beat. And the service they provided was wonderful. the gentleman I spoke to giving all the information to he was wonderful and understanding of the situation,and also the gentleman that came and picked up the vehicle was very kind even in rainy weather, the overall experience was great the pricing was great the service was great and especially after midnight I would recommend Hart's towing !Services: Car towing, Long distance hauling

Steer clear! Predatory pricing! My son had an accident and they towed us from Target to their lot, a total of 4.2 miles. When my husband tried to call, the person on the phone was rude and pushy. We had our mechanic pick up the vehicle to repair. We o course had to pay before getting the vehicle, and for that 4.2 mile run they charged $465.00. That is highway robbery and poor service on top of all that. The police just called the next company on their list, we would never have elected to do business with Harts. We had a trailer we were trying to get home that had an accident which was entirely our fault. Before our driver left the scene he was told everything was good and to have a good day by the responding officers. On our route home he was stopped and forced to have his trailer towed without our company having a chance to send our truck to get it towed. Hart's came at the request of the state police and pulled our trailer that was empty for a total of 8 miles and charged us 670$. I understand the cost of doing business and also understand the cost of a heavy wrecker truck coming out, which is not cheap. What I do not understand is having to pay for a service after it is completed and not giving the cost before it is towed. When I called and asked about the cost I was told 250 a hour for the big truck and they sent an extra man in case they needed him for 85$ a hour. I was told we where given a discounted rate because we did not need him. At the end of the day a small business is forced to pay 670$ for a trailer being pulled 8 miles. To compare with the rates we are hauling for today, being on average 1.05$ a mile, they received 83.75$ a mile.

These guys have been great for me every time. I m not sure the lady s name who answers the phone sometimes but she is so nice and professional and gets right back to you. But Jody! He s awesome. Just a great guy and quietly does his job and you just find that later on, after the stress of having to tow, that damn, he (or his employee) was so fast and fair and professional. They re my go-to if I ever need another tow .

Hard to find, it's pretty back there but the staff is wonderful. Also, I'll tell you something. When I came in to tell the lady that I was going to grab my stuff out of my car she said she was happt to see me. She said the twisted hunk of metal my car was parked next to, the guy in that crash didn't make it. So it was always good to see the actual owners come in. When you're at a wrecker yard you might not be in the best mood but be grateful that it's you picking up your effects and not your grieving family.

Simply the best customer service I have ever had. I live 3 hours away but was treated like family. Mr. Jody Hart went above and beyond to help get me and my family back on the road. They only charged a 1/4 of what most tow companies would have. I can't say enough good things about this tow company and it's amazing owners/employees.

Look, no one likes getting towed. It stinks and is not a good situation. Money down the drain and a frustrating occurrence. However, the guy that I came in contact with was nice mostly easy to work with. Fees on the weekend was suuuper high IMO, but people make all the difference so four stars it is.

They towed my car fine, but after I dropped my keys off to have them work on it they left it in the lot for a week and charged me over $400. Then they come drop off the truck and blocked the neighbors driveway doing it.Services: Car towing, Local haulingServices: Car towing, Local hauling
