Sold a junk car to my pregnant girlfriend that has left her stranded on the side of the road twice. Of course I came to her rescue. Transmission completely gone within a month of having it. They definitely knew what was up with this car. Have had the car looked at and was told, Someone has tried to fix these issues, but clearly gave up. I can tell some things have just been messed with, but never replaced. Seems like someone just traded this car back in to get rid of it. You re telling me this car lot didn t know any of that history and it was traded back in like that?! I tried to talk her out of going for this vehicle, but she wanted another car so badly she went for it. She paid the car lot $1,000 down and has still had to make payments on it even though this vehicle is broke down with a shot transmission. Paying on a car that doesn t run! No thanks. She will take her $1,000 down payment back at the very least.

They sell junk cars. Several people have had issues with their cars needing thousands of dollars worth of work on them after buying from this lot I know someone that is out a lot of money if they don t make it right with her! Her car s transmission went out within a month of having it. They should be honest with people. I m disgusted by how easily they convince people to buy their junk. Do better.

Bought an 04 Chevy. Less then five months later I found out it needs a rear axle and has an exhaust leak. My fault for the purchase and trusting them, just giving one star for the principal of turning over a piece of junk over Kelly Blue Book value.

After not only buying 1, but 3 cars from State Line Motors, I can honestly say there is not a better used car lot in the Tri-Cities. Steve and Pat went out of their way to help my husband and I find the exact cars we were looking for. They are open, HONEST, and knowledgeable about each car on their lot. They will shoot you straight and they don t sugar coat any car flaws that they are aware of. We have had these cars for approximately 4 years and have had no issues/car trouble what so ever!My husband and I will continue to be loyal State Line Motors customers and we ll never buy a car from anywhere else! We can t say enough positive about this business!

OH, you like this car? Take it to a mechanic we don t mind! We aren t here to rip ya off. Took it to the Honda dealership, and had them run a full diagnostic. The result came back that the car needed immediate attention to the two rear rotors and brakes, brakes in the front, all four tires, battery tested bad, the valve cover gasket needed to be replaced, brake flush, timing belt, power steering pump was leaking and so was the reservoir and then the radio was also not working. So I took the paperwork to SLM and the owner said, I knew it was going to be up there if you took it to the Honda dealership. Wait excuse me? You re not here to rip me off eh? I took it to a place that would give me accurate information. I have two children that will be in this car- of course I m going to have it looked over-Asking 4500 for a car that needs 3900 just to get it back to standard . Not to mention the body work that needs to be done to it. I made a fair offer, but they wouldn t take it or even listen to anything I had to say. It was super cute how they rushed me out the door and wouldn t even let me finish talking.Enjoy your Chic-Fil-A boys, and if you decide you want to take my offer for that TL, let me know.

Very nice man. Although I did not purchase a vehicle here I would recommend them. Nice clean vehicles at fair prices. Although a few had flat tires I guess from sitting there for awhile.

Best place I have ever bought a used vehicle from I purchased a Kia Sorento from them I needed something bigger to haul my grandmother and my 5 month old baby when I purchased the vehicle I didn t notice the AC wasn t working when I finally did a couple of weeks later I took the Kia to be fixed and was quoted a large amount of money unable I was unable to pay that amount and called state line to see if they could help me or swap me vehicle s (which they didn t have to do my vehicle was sold as is) one of the owners Pat called me back was very helpful suggested I take the Kia to Auto Care to have one of their mechanics take a look at my vehicle not only were they very kind but Pat had them to fix it for me and even covered the cost I m so grateful this is something he didn t have to do Pat and Steve went above and beyond to fix my issue and we re so kind the whole time I highly recommend them they are very honest and stand behind what they sell I can t thank them enough best car buying experience I have ever had will definitely be going back for any other vehicles I plan to buy in the future

Was pretty upset when i took my Lexus to Kingsport to have check out . I was told this car was low 2 quarts low on oil.very disappointed. Glad i went for a check up.
