Owner is very pleasant and the lot selection has grown.Parking lot is clean and organized.Staff is friendly.Great location-center of Bowling Green, which is center of Caroline Co., which is center Virginia, which is center of East coast.

Buyer beware. Samson is a scam artist. He tried to sell me an 08 xterra with a bent frame. Told me on my first trip the total cost including processing would be 3800.00 . Only issue I had with the car was a pull and an accident he never mentioned. He replaced the tires and called me to come back out. I confirmed price and he agreed. At this time I am sitting in the parking lot after meeting with him a second time. He sounds great. He talks well. Don't trust it. He printed out final cost and it was over 4200.00When I asked why, he said the tires were pricey.. Upon communicating my dissatisfaction of having different prices told to me, Samson crumpled the quote in a ball and threw it at me. He proceeded to raise his voice about it being as is it's as is. I've got 4k in my pocket. Dude is escalating so I walked out.I understand as is... however, when you quote a price.. you stick to it. Isn't this baiting? Even though the vehicle had been in a minor accident I completely understood the multitude of minor dings and dents and holes that were not reported. On your Craigslist ad. I still wanted the car, but when you gave me the upcharged price? Kinda disrespectful. I called you on it and you threw paper at me? Mad because I wouldn't pay you to replace bald tires? They were really bad anyway. This here was horrible customer service. Buyer beware.

Oh my Gosh, Samson Motor Cars, is the best dealership I've ever seen. I brought a 2007 Nissan xterra. Sam is outstanding, polite, loyal and caring. He really takes care of his customers and have wonderful customer service. He stands 1000 percent of his word and his vehicle. I drove over two hours to his dealership and it was the best decision ever that I made. Sam make you feel like family. His vehicle is very reasonable and dependable. I had a very small issue with my vehicle and Sam very quickly fixed the problems with no question asked. And deliver my vehicle to me. Out of a five star rating, I give him a 10. I highly recommend anyone who looking for a great vehicle with wonderful customer service. Go to this dealership, you wont regret it. I stand behind this dealership 1000 percent and in the future i most definitely will purchase another vehicle again. Without a doubt.

Today I had the pleasure of buying my daughter her first car. The experience from beginning to the end was amazing. Once the purchase was done the owner took the time to decorate the car with balloons for her when we arrived for pick up. Definitely wonderful surprise and excellent service.Sam went that extra mile to make my 16yr olds big milestone in life special. Thanks a lot Samson motor cars of Bowling Green Va

HONEST DEALER andGREAT PRICE for my pickup truck.I had a few hiccups intially with the truck because my vehicle had to pass MD inspection. Samson Motorcars took care of the issues quickly. I would absolutely recommend buying a vehicle from Samson Motor Car. Happy Customer.

Great experience, I bought a car for my daughter 2004 Chrysler pt cruse below blue book. They give a great deal on cars. I took it to the mechanic and told me was great car.Thanks Samson motorcars. I'll definitely recommend this dealership.

Daughter, needed a car. I stopped by talked to Mr. Samson, and told him what I expected for my Daughter's first car and how it was extremely important to my Husband and I that she has a reliable vehicle since she works nights and we didn't want her stuck on the side of the road by herself! They went above and beyond our expectations. Thank you, for all your great customer service skills, having good reliable vehicles, and standing by your word!!! She purchased a 2000 Toyota Echo... I will always come to Samson's Dealership first for my next vehicle. Don't let the bad reviews (Lies) stop you from trying Samson Motors these ppl know what their doing!!! They also have an Auto shop next to Gulf Gas Station, Bowling Green, VA that works on cars and tire shop!

Met the owner from a mutual friend and right off the go he was very experienced and knowledgeable in the used car market. I usually purchase vehicles brand new but could not afford a new pick up truck with the options I wanted. Not only did Samson Motorcars help me acquire the truck I wanted and needed but at a price that was affordable and fair. Will continue to do business at this establishment. .

Sam was amazing! He helped my son Josh buy his first car. There was no pressure, and he made us feel comfortable. The AC was messed up, and Sam took care of the problem quickly. We definitely recommend this dealership.

I had a bad experience also. I purchased a 2003 Ford Focus I was told that the car was fine and hadn't been sitting. When I started it up I heard a squealing noise I was told it was from turning the key too hard. Needless to say no matter how hard I turned it sometimes it would do it and not start at all.Then the tires went because I was told they were dry rotten. I paid 2300 for this car to drive it two months and have the motor to go . I was told it was a defect in the motor with these cars.When I contacted him he told me he could trade me out another car but I had to give him more money in which I did not have.Or give me part of the money towards having it fixed,but what's the use in having it fixed for the same thing to happen again. I purchased this car as my daughters first car. Her and I were devastated. I even asked him if he would buy the car back so I could at least get some of the money back that I paid for it. He told me to try and sell it on line. He seemed to be a nice man but I think he did me wrong. I'm a single parent trying to make it .That 2300 bucks could have went a long ways for my kids and I.

I bought my first car from this guy and he absolutely scammed me. He told me over and over that there's nothing wrong with my car and that he drove it for personal use. But I had the car for a WEEK and the transmission completely blew out. I had to pay $250 to get it towed to his property and $350 to him for a "new" transmission. Turns out, he put a remanufactured one in it and claims you can't find another one for a 2006 Ford. He swore I'd have it back in a week but it took over 3. On the way home from picking it up, the engine over heated on route 3 and the brakes went out because the car completely shut off. And shortly after that, I had to get a realignment because the steering wheel was all the way to the left when I got it back, the battery went out, 3/4 tires blew out, alternator went bad, the serpentine belt snapped on the main st of my town, and the tire rod snapped today (thank god I was in town and not on the highway) It's been hell for the past 6-7 months with this car. Now I got the dependable car he promised after I dropped over what I paid for into it. Don't buy anything from this guy. He promises the world but is only a scam artist and sells cars that are nothing more than Junkers that are visually decent.

CROOKED BUSINESS.Samson car dealership and its owners are crooked. They talked me into buying a 2006 Ford F150 with a failing rear end differential and other issues. They sent me to their friends at Lendmark financial services for guaranteed approval with no real proof of income. When I first bought the truck the engine light was on and noise was coming from beneath the mid to rear end of the truck. He told me the engine light was on because it needed a new gas cap and that the noise that existed was the normal sound of a pickup truck with a V8, that it was truck not a little car. After driving the truck from the lot the gas light remained on after I changed the gas cap and the noise got worse and was diagnosed as a bad rear end differential. I drive for a living and was unable to drive and make money to pay the lenders, now I'm stuck with car debt and bad credit.

My experience was not great. I was promised the moon and the stars and in the end was stuck in a car that was falling apart. This gentleman swore up and down he would fix the problem with the ac and the oil leak and tires but constantly stalled me out until my warranty expired then told me "you waited too long to get it fixed." When the truth is I hounded him CONSTANTLY to fix these issues. Oh and he never keeps his word on things he says. He told us that he was cool with us starting payments in October vs November but then called and texted me every single month 10 days before my due date demanding payment. Before he claims I am not telling the truth please feel free to contact me and I can show you the documentation and the text messages he sent me as proof. He tries to take advantage of everyone as if he can swindle them. But the reality is he isn't as smart as he claims to be. Oh and he FAILED to properly register my vehicle when I purchased it from him not once but twice which the forgery of a registration that was given to me at the dealership is being dropped off today to the State Police that he gave me. When he was confronted about this not just by myself but my husband he told me that "if you are behind on payments it won't register your vehicle with the DMV". I was never behind on payments AND in order to leave a car lot you MUST have proper Tags, insurance and registration on a vehicle. What he is doing by selling vehicles is FRAUD. DO NOT BUY FROM HIM unless you like to give away your money. He is under investigation by the state police at this point as I have been contacted twice in the past 2 months over the faulty registration and tags on my vehicle. Oh and he will take you bank info and charge you until your bank won't bank with you anymore either. After that incident he "only wanted to do business in cash" which is shady right there. So his last payments he got from me were tracked by secure funds in case he wanted to claim I missed payments which I did not.***In Rebuttal: I did not have possession of my car from 8/26/18 to 10/16/18. (My registration can attest to that as that was when he issued it) (More than 2 weeks). My minivan broke down so it became the vehicle to go to and from work for myself and my husband 70 mile round trip twice a day for 5 days a week. Then furthermore... on 10/13/19 my father was there when he said he would replace the tires and asked for my brother to find them. The tires were never found and my parents who own the shop NOT my brother had to fork out the money to fix the oil leak issue which still leaked due to a oil cooler that was over 700 to replace because it is faulty. AC was NEVER fixed as the parts for that were placed on back order again by my parents because he refused to fix the issue. January 2019 got stopped by Henrico PD because my tags were invalid. Brought this to his attention he told me because i was behind on payments was why it was never properly registered which i was not. Asked him to go to DMV with us and he refused. He "fixed" it on his end. But when I went to turn in my plates, they informed me the plates were not valid plates that were registered to a vehicle. hmmmm I am slandering? Why would I make this up? I could have had my plates taken away by police (which happened to other customers of his) if I was pulled over.... so no.. I am not slandering.

Purchased a 03 Chevy SIlverado a few months ago works perfectly fine. Along with free oil changes and a 3 month warranty, this must be one of the best car purchases ive made in a while.
