Outstanding service and a great group to work with. Went in with a problem with my headlights and within an hour they had it figured out and fixed. Prices are reasonable and the crew is trustworthy. What more could you ask for?

Southern Automotive helped me out over the busy Christmas Holiday.. Radiator froze and split and Tony had one in stock and fit me in for an emergency repair that day so we could go on vacation the next day..... Thanks to Tony and his Team for helping us out !!! very professional and had the radiator in stock and pricing was good... would recommend to anyone.Keith NService: Auto water leak repair

Rip off they look for stuff beyond what you went in for n write up a major estimate screw this place ! Even though your vehicle does not need those repairs they need to be investigated !

Went to them for door rod to be put back in place that said 900.00 for new parts but the old ones are just fine went there before for motor mounts and I don't thank thay change them the van still shaking on the front called them had to take it back in and that said that that we're loose when thee porson did not putting them in correctly so if you like throwing away money that is the place to go a bunch of scammers a brand new door only cost 500.00 very disappointed if you don't know how to work on stuff don't do it shouldn't have cost around 80.00 to fix it won't happen again and thay charge 50.00 just to look at it

I had an unpredictable flat and was riding on my donut....only place in town that could get me my Michelins same day! It went wonderfully! Quick and courteous service. Will definitely have this business in mind for future visits!Service: TiresService: Tires

I moved here from Texas and I will say, I m extremely glad I took my SUV here! It s hard finding a shop you trust and then to be an out of towner! Southern Automotive was very nice and they explained everything; the prices are amazing and I think I even gained gas mileage. Was on vacation and got into a small accident. Several things were wrong with the car and we were stranded. This auto shop was willing to take our car and get it done as fast as possible. Our POS insurance held up the process for over a week, but once the shop ordered parts they had the car back on the road in a few hours. We are very thankful. would recommend

Customer service from Peggy and Lee was amazing! They called to keep me updated on the repairs. The Technicians we fast and kept the vehicles clean. When i picked my truck up a Tech came out and we talked about our times in the Military. I highly recommend Southern Automotive. This is my new home shop.07 Ram Heater Core replacement and 17 Traverse Tire Replacment.

Having your vehicle break down out of town can be scary. Southern Automotive made me feel comfortable with open and honest service. Explained my options and prices were very reasonable. Hope I don't need them again, but if I do I would come back to them in a heartbeat! Thanks for the great quick service!

I Purchased a used 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk and the trailer light hook up wasn t working. Southern Automotive had made an investment in a piece of equipment that allows them to reflash an electrical unit that allowed the trailer lights to work again. Saved a lot of time on my part. Very friendly and efficient operation and I would use them again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Jennifer Bowen? I believe that s her name. She made sure to give me eye contact for the first time talking to me when she told me. I came in at 2 to see if there were any available appointments for an oil change. I had to wait til 3. No problem. By 3:15 my car hadn t been seen. I asked her how much longer. No eye contact, looking at her computer I have no idea I can check when I m done doing with I m doing the tone of voice was rude and her customer service skills are non existent. She s The owners wife. But that does not give you permission to be pompous and act like a customer is annoying you ! If this is your husbands company, you ought to carry the name with grace and pride. She was very bitter and rude. Not okay.

After having it inspected I made an appointment to have my rear brakes and rotors replaced. I dropped the car off at 7:30am, waited until around 12 to call them only to be told that the car hasn t even been looked at because they are backed up. I told him that I needed my car by today because I live in Richmond and have to work tomorrow. Another two hours go by only to get a call to be told that someone ordered the wrong brakes and that my car will be ready tomorrow... I understand that mistakes are made but the appointment was book in enough time to where something like this shouldn t have happen and now due to some else s negligence I m stuck without my vehicle until tomorrow and have to call out of work. This simply is unprofessional and bad business.Service: Brakes

Their car detailing is amazing. We also got our hitch attached here and they did a very good job as the bumper needed some cutting. The place is very nominal and the staff is very friendly.

More than a decent repair shop. Not a excellent shop. But reasonable and most of the staff is very knowledgeable. If you're in the area I would recommend this shop over the others in the area, but pricey.

I went by there without an appointment today. THEY WORKED ME IN! They ran some test and gave me the results,also gave me an estimate and I was on my way. I give them 10 stars because they deserve it!

I am an out of state traveler on assignment that broke down here in South Boston. I was referred to this place by more than one person. I was so greatful that I met someone that wouldn't take advantage of me. I am a woman and I am from another state. It could have been worse. Scott and the rest of the staff was great.thank you so much for being so helpful and kind. I will never forget this. I highly recommend this company.

Took my truck there because 4wd was not working. They put several new parts on my truck over about 3 weeks period with a total bill of $1204 and they still did fix my problem. I would not recommend this shop to anyone

I HAVE USED SOUTHERN AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE FOUR TIMES IN THE PAST AND I HAVE NEVER HAD PROBLEMS WITH THEIR SERVICE THEIR SERVICE ALWAYS HAVE BEEN GOOD AS FAR AS FOR ME AND I WILL REFER THEM TO OTHER PEOPLE AND IF I NEED TO I WILL USE THEM AGAIN BEFORE GOING ANYWHERE ELSE

I'm assuming the gentleman that I spoke with was the owner, I had a question about service I received a couple of weeks ago and he was going to test my a/c temp but all of a sudden at 11 am everyone was going to lunch and would take an hour from anyone to get to me . A real business man would try to make a customer with a concern happy or at least explain what the problem could be , I will not be visiting this business anymore.
