By far this is the worst car dealership in the two Virginia's. We took a 21 year old girl there who works two jobs and was buying her first car. She test drove a 2012 nissan sentra. The check engine light and the airbag light was on. We were told we could take it to their mechanic the following week because of the holiday. Where I made a mistake was leaving the young lady there by her self to do the paper work and they totally took advantage of her. She ask for a warranty and the sales lady said well if we do that we have to redo all the paper work. We'll sales lady you were told this before the paper work was even started. So I take the car to them the first day of the next week and was told oh no we aren't paying for nothing. We'll She has had this car 3 days and the transmission is going out it has issues with the air bags and all they can say is you bought it so it's your problem. The transmission had been doctored up with what I call a mechanic in a can. It will stop it from slipping long enough to sell it. It's really hard to believe that you guys would do this young lady this way. She has done nothing but cried since she bought the car. People please stay away from this place they are rude and don't know how to tell the truth. So I'm contacting some higher ups to see what can be done. To sell a car with the airbag light on tells me that Family Auto cares nothing about your safety at all. Please consider another place to buy your next vehicle and never let them take advantage of a young person like they did with this young lady who didn't know how it worked because this was her first car. She saved for 2 years for the down payment and now it's gone and she has junk . Family Auto you should really be ashamed of yourselfs

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS CAR LOT. They are scammers and they will sit and lie to your face saying nothing is wrong with the car and sell it to you, then it will break down 6 days later. I bought a car from them and not even 5 days later it s in the shop. They said it needs a whole new engine smdh. They sold it to me like that and to make it worse they do the buy as it is contract. So anything after that is out of there hands they are the worst people to ever buy a car from please don t even look at their cars!! For your own good ! I still don t have my car it s been in the shop for months !

If you want to be spoken to rudely and -0- professionalism this is the place. Simply asked how much a car was only the lot. Instead of explaining why it's on the lot to sale but you can't currently she just responds rudely oh I'm not ready to sale it. It's a car lot. It should not be on the lots unless it's ready to sale.

Hi I wouldn't recommended anyone going to family auto I only have one income and still my payment is $310 a month plus having pay insurance dont have hardly any money left to rent somewhere I only had this car since may of this year and its costing me more then the payment right now its needing a radiator the lights on the inside has been flickering the seats and side mirrors are moving on there own off and on through out driving it and sunroof wouldnt close cant really use it also and plus paying for a car that isn't worth what there asking in Kelly blue book its only worth highest is $2,000 and that's if its all in good condition. if my payments were lowered then $310 a month that would help I'm only on a fixed income and been through a lot this month and I do not like smart remarks from some staff as well.

Family Auto lied about the car I got from them . Was told the check engine light was for a thermostat that had already been replaced. Turns out the check engine light was for the turbo charger in the car. Not to mention the 25 other codes that popped up. I wouldn t recommend going through them. The sells people are not honest .

My wife and I we're in need of a vehicle so she could return to work, on October 29th, we had owned a trailblazer and the motor blew in it so sadly we were in the market for yet another vehicle.We started our search on October 24th after wasting 5 days with Shelor Motor Mile, and an additional day with Cole Auto it was quite refreshing to find a company that was willing to stand by their word.In a nutshell the salesperson explain to us that our down payment would be x amount and that our payments would be x amount also we didn't have to wait 20 30 minutes to be greeted by anyone the salesperson was not pushy, the folks inside we're willing to work with us on every level that we were able to see.The only drawback that I see is that the vehicles have high mileage and some of them have been very well worn, however the company does a 60 day bumper to bumper warranty the only thing that doesn't cover according to the salesperson is brakes.We have had the vehicle for right at a week now and I am pleased what's a service an interaction that I received from Family Auto, if my experience is any indication on how these folks treat their customers their doors will be open for a long time.Throughout the next 60 days and Beyond I will give periodic updates on my perception of their customer service I do hope they continued to exceed expectations I would personally like to thank the folks at Family Auto for making car buying a pleasure.

Came in last month, the salesman didn t want to spend anytime with us. We was hoping to trade. He went outside look at the car, just barely walked around and came back in and said he couldn t do anymore then $500 and he would have to get the owners permission on the trade. So I told him sorry for wasting his time. Which he didn t deny we was wasting his time. I will never be back on the lot. I wouldn t recommend them to anyone.

I bought a car March 21st 2023 the next day mine was broke down the only thing they have offered to do is pay have on the alternator but it is also the electronic system they will not trade I just want my down payment back so I can get a better one I didn't know that would treat you like that I have a lawyer so I better get my money back

These are the best ppl (family) to get a car from the work with you and will get you in a nice car you are satisfied with and if something goes try they try there best to get it fixed or help you get it fixed wonderful ppl
