My battery died. Jacob was on duty. He was professional, knowledgeable, able to multitask, and exhibited a fine sense of humor. In and out in less than 30 minutes. I knew the battery needed replacing based on age and experience. However, I found it disappointing that the store is without a workable battery tester!JUST HAD THE SECOND BATTERY DIE OF OLD AGE --- WITHIN TWO MONTHS FOR DIFFERENT CARS. THIS TIME PARKER TESTED THE BATTERY AND IT WAS PRONOUNCED "DEAD ON ARRIVAL." PARKER MEASURED UP TO JACOB AND QUICKLY SOLD AND INSTALLED A NEW BATTERY. I FOUND PARKER TO BE ON THE TOP OF HIS TECHNICAL AND PERSONAL SKILLS. ADVANCED AUTO CONTINUES TO BE MY "GO TO" PLACE FOR AUTO PARTS!

I called prior to going in to ask if they run diagnostics. They said yes for free and i can just come in whenever, so that s lovely! I drive there and walk in and tell them what i need, and they say that machine has been broken for months. Things happen, i get it, but I had called less than an hour before I got there and they just didn t tell me that they actually couldn t do that for me because it s broken. They weren t the most kind either, they acted frustrated that I was asking. Just would ve appreciated a little kindness

Could not do a battery test as their system was not working...ok that happens.Asked them to replace a battery in a Ford. They had the battery in stock but it was too difficult for them to install???What the...isn't this literally one of their main functions?Staff could not be less helpful.

I had good luck this go around for a very old pickup truck.,the question is always one of getting common parts a lot are remanufactured or in my case more and more often I find some random old new stock inventory bought at auction or swap meet.This time I was in luck they still remanufacture the alternator and this day would be even better they had it on the shelf !! No way right??I thought surely it's not the exact one I need...but yes it was...Happy to say this trip to advance Auto parts was a total success.Thanks for the help guys and it fixed the problems I was having so no more guess work until the next bug needs worked out.

I purchased a optima battery here on August 2021. Unfortunately, this battery went out on April this year. At that time, a young staff test it bad in the car but test good out of the car. So he just clean the connectors and put it back. I don t know why, but the system showings a replacement done. I go to the store today because I have the same battery issue. Rob, the current manager help me to exchange the battery without charging anything else. I do appreciate his help and speak highly off of his kindness. It s not his fault to put a wrong record in the system, but he did solve my issue.

I walk in this store having an emergency had to use the bathroom very quickly I went there as a buying costumer get denied to the bathroom here I am could barely walk or think or talk even. I asked if there is anyway I could I had to servery go was told with an attitude that there was a speed way down the road if u think I could hold it that long I wouldn't have said is there anything you can do. Absolutely disgusting behavior with someone with IBS I went to the nearest store that wasn't open to the public again he didn't hestait to let me go

Had an online order that was given to me with opened used parts ! But when I said something about it a manager fixed the problem with a new un opened part as he should have thanks much appreciated.

Needed my rear windshield wiper replaced and stopped in to Advance Auto on Main Street. It was difficult to change out but both young men that helped me were determined to get it done. I appreciated there diligence and professionalism.

One of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. They were fairly busy when I arrived, but the employee who helped me was respectful and patient. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, and on that day I was having trouble articulating it. He knew what questions to ask, and made it easy for me. I was in and out with exactly what I needed in no time at all.

Offered help as soon as I arrived and helped me find the parts I needed. Also, when I came to the register they noticed that with my purchase, if I bought an upgraded filter, it would actually activate a discount that would ultimately save me money, and they went to go pick up the part for me. Great service and care towards the customer.

Told the guy I needed a rear wiper for my 20 year old vehicle, gave me a couple of brand choices, rung me up and immediately went out in the rain to replace for me with a smile. Good service, I'll be back!

They've got the parts I need. Plus they let you borrow tools and let you do repairs in the parking lot. Bonus: they've got a bathroom you can use!

All the employees there are nice, fun to talk to, and welcoming. It's my go-to for local parts. Laura is awesome will get you taken care of! She once stayed on the phone with corporate trying to fix my online order for 10 minutes and got it done, even with better pricing. These people are great! Highly recommend if you need parts or car help.

My cars splash guard fell off a few blocks from here after i was dropped my dog off at the vet. I was able to hold it together and get to the shop. the man inside helped me find replacements for my pins just based on my car model and the pieces of broken pin i brought him! I came back into the shop confused quite a few times and the man working the counter was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. I was able to get back to my dog before her pick up time and repair my car in the parking lot. amazing experience!

The employees here are awesome. I had some serious problems with my battery, arrived in a panic, and Chris was great about it and tested everything for me. He also check a few other things to make sure it was safe to drive off that day. Everyone was really knowledgeable and friendly and willing to help.

Levi greeted me warmly as soon as I walked in and offered to check my car s battery for free after I explained my car issues. As someone who doesn t know car and is not from the area, he was very patient in explaining everything to me and even recommended an auto shop for me to take my car to. Very friendly staff and great customer service. Highly recommend this place for anyone who needs auto parts!

I ve always been an Advance customer and stores like this are excellent examples of why. I recently had to replace a serpentine belt on my 04 Wrangler. I asked about a loaner 1/2 breaker bar, they didn t have one but an employee graciously offered to let me borrow one he had in his truck outside. Awesome customer service.

Needed a battery. They tested my old battery, was running out of cold cranking amps, the very helpful desk attendant suggested I buy the replacement battery online to save about $35 on it. So I did and returned the next day for battery pickup and free installation. Would definitely recommend this store for their excellent customer service.

Usually has the parts you need and helpful employees but when they offer "free loaner tools" I'm not sure what that means- couldn't even let me borrow a crescent wrench to change a brake light I had also purchased there... Hm.

I gotta give them 5 stars! The workers there are amazing very very friendly and helpful! I had to change a whole ignition cylinder today as it seized up and key got stuck on the on position! Meaning yank out the steering wheel and gut it out for one little screw! They were so helpfu whenever I had to find the right tools to get the job done God Bless them!

Great customer service highlights this store. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. I thoroughly enjoy the fact that they help you at your car with a certain items such as the windshield wipers and batteries. The staff is knowledgeable.

The man who helped me today was very unfriendly and made me feel unwelcome even before I asked for help (was it because I wore a mask?). I don't know anything about cars, but it is still no excuse to be rude and treat me as if I am stupid because - as a non-native speaker - I do not know the name of the part I need.

The employees are so friendly and helpful! When my brake light was out, they changed the bulb for me. When that did not work, they suggested it could be the socket. They told me I would have to go to the dealership to get the part, but I should come back and have them install it since the dealership overcharges. I got the part, brought it back to them, and they installed it for me. The best part? They did not charge me! I highly recommend advance auto.

The battery I bought might have been a little expensive but the customer service was amazing. It was installed well and I'm very happy I went here. The employees were patient and kind and I would come here again if I need anything for my car.

I always find the staff super helpful. I usually order on line for the discount and then walk in to seamlessly complete the pick up transaction. A few times I've had questions and they were able to answer with a pretty high level of expertise.

I took my battery there to be charged because my car was having trouble starting and they said it was already full. I asked if something was wrong with the car, and they suggested bad terminal connections or the cold weather, even though it was warm. It turns out it was actually the starter, which died completely later that day.

I came in with a half dozen questions about maintenance on mine and my girlfriend's car. The gentleman behind the counter helped me with every question and offered advice that saves me money. They are great every time. I love Advance Auto!

I don't do a lot of repairs but they generally have what I need, and the staff has always been helpful over the years. Recently when I needed a battery to get an old truck ready to sell for parts or Farm use, the salesman was helpful at finding me a used one to try at less cost.

I've been customer at this store for almost 30 years and I'll keep going back. I have had some bad experiences with the manufacturer of replacement parts I've purchased here. So for mechanical parts - breaks, alternators, water pumps, clutch and break cylinders, I go brand name.They are great for consumable parts though - belts, hoses, filters, lightbulbs, fuel additives, motor oil and other fluids, windshield wipers, etc. And they'll check batteries, alternators, and diagnostic engine codes.They install wipers and replacement batteries.
