Very clean and quiet. I arrived and parked on the side in my rig. Even though it was next to the highway, it was so peaceful. You can tell that particular rest area was very well kept. The bathrooms were immaculate. Good job on keeping the grounds and bathrooms clean.

I felt safe enuff to.sleep.. As a female traveling alone with only her 2 pit bulls yeah i was safe. Tje vending machines were well stocked the bathrooms were extremely clean .. It wad plesant well lit i felt safe walking my girls

Great place to stop lots of parking, peopinside welcome center are fantastic. Dont forget to sign the guest book. Bathrooms were clean, vending machines are awesome theres one you can buy t shirts. Great place even on a rainy dayThank you for the maps

I don't normally take the time to rate my experience at rest stops. But this was a nice facility. I've passed through here many times. And in all honesty it's a place I can count on to stop on my travels. I really do appreciate the love sign too, it's a warm site to see pulling off of the highway.

Just stopped their with my family. The restrooms was clean but while we were waiting for everyone andstretching our legs the employees were very rude to my children when they asked if they were security. The employee threatened to call the state police on them. I was standing beside them the entire time. I was shocked at how rude someone would be to kids. I quickly just got my children and left.My advice if you stop don't speak to the workers, they will threaten to put your kids in jail.

Beautiful place to stretch your legs and use the loo. It was one of the nicest cleanest rest stops I have ever been to

We stopped in here on the way home to North Carolina from Iowa. It was a very beautiful place and even had a section about the local music history. Very well maintained with some picnic areas on the side. Nice little place to dip in when you're going through the mountains

It s so clean place to take a break , the gentleman on information desk is really nice and helpful. I got my truck breakdown here while waiting for mechanic I ordered some food by mistake the delivery guy delivered it on the other side(northbound) , when i talk to the gentleman he went on the other side and picked up my package for me , I really appreciate it and thanks a-lot again for all the help man .

Plenty of parking and open space with tables and grass area to walk your furry friends. Not open overnight. Very clean bathrooms and an area to buy snacks out of vending machines.

Nice welcome center with with plenty of room to stretch your legs. Also has picnic tables. Plenty of info for stuff to do in Virginia. Restrooms are clean, staff was nice and polite.

Nice clean welcome center, and people there were so friendly and helpful, they really made us feel welcome. Great place to make a stop when traveling and they can help you choose what to do in Virginia.

Restrooms and welcome center were closed. There was no warning signs or heads up until you parked and walked up to the doors and read the teeny tiny sign.

Awesome. They have bathrooms to take a break. They also have snack and drink machines incase your hungry or thirsty, or if you need them for the ride! Awesome experience!

The stop was clean and welcoming.Super soft toilet paper.Some picnic tables are available.The cause for low stars is the scenery, no kind of trails or overlooks or anything spectacular. Could have used something interesting to stretch out our legs after the 9 hours spent in the car.

Beautiful welcome center, it's clean every time I pass through and they have some decent vending machines as far as those go. We always pause for a rest here on the way to the inlaws

Love our welcome to state sign family photos so this was the perfect spot. Plus it was extremely clean, had shaded picnic tables and felt safe.

Great experience, all I feel needs changed is I did not see a picnic area at all, nor did I see a pet-friendly and safe walking trail that wasn't pavement. Pets will burn their little paws trying to walk on the blistering hot concrete/ pavement, and I'm sure no one wants to step in pet potty spots. Other than that, they had a clean and welcoming visitor center, pretty crowded, but manageable. Restrooms were clean and vending was stocked and available.

Super clean and has Alot of vending machines inside and outside that have all kinds of snacks, Starbucks Cold beverages, High Caffeinated drinks to wake you up, Sunglasses, Powerade, Gatorade, BC Powders, Super nice.

Sanitary and a nice place to stop. Very cute photo opportunities and the area is very well kept. Thank you to Virginia for allowing this to be open for people from out of State to take photos in the Love sign.

Beautiful area. Seriously enjoyed the drive to NC more then what we had planned for a getaway!! But that's the adventure of any good road trip!!!

The rest stop is very clean, large and safe. Had to stop here for to the hard rains and stayed a few hours and slept. There were continuous police patrols and that was great. There is vending and plenty of bathrooms and a little area for pictures etc. The welcome vented was closed during the evening, but it looks pretty nice.

First trip threw West Virginia from New York, beautiful mountains, rest stop was pretty clean.
