We just purchased a new fifth wheel from McGeorge's and had a wonderful experience working with Donnie. The process was fast and seamless, and Donnie's knowledge and communication were on-point. We had a very poor experience with our previous camper at another RV dealer in Richmond - Donnie understood that and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of every step of the way! Everyone we had contact with throughout the process was very helpful. Highly recommend!

We purchased our RV July 2023. It was used. It appeared to have had a leak. There were water marks. We really liked the layout and for the most part was in excellent condition. We did asked if it had ever leaked because of the areas we saw. It had been inspected and we were assured it had no leaks and had never leaked. We took them at there word. A month ago we opened it up and there was water all over the floor. We put the slide out and water ran out of the corner for several hours. And the flooring in that corner is soft. We are now facing thousands of dollars of repairs. We feel your company/sales staff lied about the condition. Is there someone we can speak to about this matter?

I just bought an RV from McGeorge s Rolling Hills RV Center in Ashland, VA.I had a fantastic experience!I was paired up with Tonya who was very professional, knowledgeable, helpful, sweet and a good listener. She didn t try to sell me anything that was out of my price range.I was very apprehensive about walking into an unknown business to purchase a travel trailer by myself. I saw a brief flashback of me buying an automobile back in the day and how fun that experience can be LOLIt wasn t like that.The crew up front were wonderful. They were also helpful and funny.Tonya, my sales person, was amazing. I even asked for a discount on the trailer price. A discounted amount was agreed upon from Finance. I paid cash for my purchase but the process was smooth & straight forward. I was out of there in a few hours.Check it out!Best Experience!Thank you!

BEWARE!!! & Shame On This DealerThey are selling their brand new units without doing their duty in dealer prep & unit inspections prior to sale.Our 2023 Forest River Rogue Toy Haulers 4007G2 Folds Of Honor Edition purchased in August 2023 was never looked through and most likely switched on us when we went to finance.Make them open your camper up and go through everything , all electronics , leveling ,refrigerator temp. etc... before you sign. NOT after, then they got you! as this is their MO , dont fall for it.Also take note of the last 4 of vin. make sure they bring you the one you looked at ...true story They will show you a model then bring a different unit around to prep it while you are rushed to finance. They stock multipleHow do we know this?Well these particular Folds of Honor editions have a gold plaque mounted on the front of the RV with the soldiers name that has been killed in the line of duty. You are also suppose to get the service records of the soldier as $1000.00 is donated in our name to a great cause Folds of Honor (To this day we still have not received any paperwork for our charitable donation)The name on the plaque when we came back to pick our unit was different. Did not think much into it if they had several units ok no big deal, but i should have as the unit i got was a lemon. & lemon laws dont apply to trailersThen We get to One Control,Figured we wait till we got to the campground to play with it. boy i was wrong! The root of all my problems, yours too if you dont check before you sign! Our One Control APP did not work from day 1 and does not work fully to this day. No leveling within the app is available. Never was! After the 4th time in for service and over 45 days on their lot & 6th unity box replacement, CW McGeorge's RV A Camping World Company threw their hands up, literally and stated there is nothing more they can do that Forest River and Lippert is to Blame for incorrect programming. At one time they McGeorge's RV A Camping World Company lost the control panel inside the unit and could not even open any slides as the programming was that offLippert even went as far as to tell me that my unit was not a bluetooth unit WHAT??? . its in the paperwork!Huge cover up going on here!After consulting with other owners thanks to the world of social media it was proven that this was a national issue across the board for Rogue Toy Haulers and still is to this day! as owners across the country have the same exact problem and we demand it gets fixed. If they cant give us what we purchased than refund us our money back, McGeorge's RV A Camping World Company does not have the trained techs to deal with the new technology of One ControlThey do not even have a touch screen panel in their service dept to fix / re program these units when they are sent wrong from factory or reset in service from power loss. They simply send everything back to manufacturer. They are only parts replacers nothing more. WTH.... are you serious you dont even have the equipment to service what your selling?If i can buy a touch screen from Lippert to program this unity box then i would think the service techs would have one available to use as well.Do not sign the sales agreement either. As you will read it states no warranty implied/ as is and they mean it. There is no lemon law protection for you on this purchaseGET YOUR REFUND ON YOUR WARRANTY!Another Fact: If you bought an extended warranty from any CW you have less than 90 days to get 100% refund. After 90 they prorate it. Go get your money back, I got over $7000,00 back, this is the only way to really to hurt them... in their pocket,This is my story and there are over10,000 others like it and growing everyday @ camping works sucks FB page. Lets stop them from ripping the American consumer off anymore.

Update you really think that the salesperson was able to clarify the questions you had your response to my review is as pathetic as McGeorge s RV. You completely ignored how they attempted to sneak in a dealer prep fee without our knowledge. It was not initially listed on the invoice with all the other fees instead they attempted to hide it by including it in the sale price of the travel trailer. Shady and you re okay with your company being dishonest McGeorge s RV is very shady. We visited the dealer on Saturday and decided to purchase a travel trailer. When my husband was getting ready to sign, he noticed the sale price wasn t what we had agreed on so we questioned the price at the top of the invoice. The salesman responds with, oh I see why you re confused. Let me get another copy. The salesman brings another invoice back and says, See the 2 numbers at the top are the same. However, the new invoice shows a dealer prep fee listed to the left that was not itemized on the original he was expecting my husband to sign. The fee was added to the sale price, but was not shown on the original invoice. The fee was either $695 or $795. So annoyed with the whole experience that I don t recall the amount. They tried to sneak in this fee without alerting us of the charge so this was a hidden fee .

We bought a camper from McGeorge s on 03/09/2024. This will be the second camper that we have bought from them, and it will be our last purchase from them.There is nothing wrong with the Wolf Pup camper that we bought.Their after sale service just sucks!I highly recommend buying elsewhere.Our 30 day Virginia temporary vehicle registration has now expired.My partner and I have called and left several email messages with McGeorge s starting back on 03/26/24. No callback.Called & spoke to Michelle Logan at McGeorge s on 03/27/24. Was promised a callback. Never received one.I called several times the following week about the registration. Never heard anything back.My partner drove to McGeorge s. Was told either permanent plate would be mailed to us or we would get a call to pickup another temporary plate.Never heard back!Checked with Virginia DMV on 04/09/24. McGeorge had not filed any registration for the camper with them.Called one final time today about now expired registration. Was promised a callback. Never heard back.Was sent last week a part from Jennifer in their Service Department that was not needed or did not even fit my camper.I am posting reviews today.I will go physically to McGeorge s one last time later this week.If no response, I will file complaint with the Better Business Bureau and seek legal remedy.

Our visit started out rough. Rude, eye rolling blonde at counter. The sales guy stating that we need a driver's license to look at campers, in case we want to test drive. The manger did his job and paired us with Tonya. She asked all of the pertinent questions to gather information as to pair us with the correct camper. She was just real. Not pushy, didn't rush us, didn't try to sway us into anything. Tonya made the sale of this camper!! She's a hugh asset to this business.

My salesman Chris Neale was just AWESOME! He was willing to help as soon as I walked in the door. Mr. Neale filled in for the original sales person b/c he apparently left early for the day. From the showing of the units to the paperwork and everything in between, he was very professional and very courteous. He worked very hard to help me get the camper I wanted at the price I could afford. He kept me informed throughout the week and answered all of my questions. Chris even answered his phone and helped me on his day off. I absolutely love my Brand New 2024 Wolf Den.This was my first camper purchase and I would definitely recommend Chris as your salesman.Thank you so much for everything, Chris!

Mad. They wouldn't approve me to buy a camper but the bank WILL!! Spent several hours looking at campers. Finally find one in interested in and they tell me no. The guy showing me campers was super nice and seemed to like his job. But the finance guy was another story. Next day I went to the bank and they tell me they'll loan me money... so I decided to go elsewhere. They clearly don't want my business. I also find out there is a Facebook page just for people to complain about them!! They can add me to their list!!

I really appreciated the help that Xavier gave me the other day. I thank you so much for the friendly , welcoming customer service. Xavier has went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and welcomed . Not once did he ever rush me or push me to make a decision I was not ready for. Ive heard soo many great things about his customer service , and when we finally spoke I knew I was in great hands. I look forward to this RV journey with the company . If you need a great sales man , make sure you ask for Xavier . He is the man with the plan I will definitely recommend mcgeorge in the future

Won't be going back. They were not honest about the available inventory in our budget and tried to over-sell us. It's fine to say no, we don't have a camper in your budget or that meets your situation. I'm a grown- up, I can handle it. Please don't show me stuff outside my budget, think I'll get distracted by something shiny, and be like management will work with you on the price and then management refuses to have a discussion on the price without us being ready to buy. (these are paraphased quotes of actual conversations, so take whatever slick redirect response posted to Google that follow from this business at your own risk).

People be aware! As soon as you walk in the door a girl ask " Do you have an appointment, who are you seeing?" We went to look at one, not a driving camper. We drove several hours. This place really needs to train their "check in lady". I would really question this place, She actually said to me, " I need to make a copy of your driver'slicense.The salesman was great and the only one who stepped up. Go see him, he is not pushy but very informative and helpful. Go see Will Clift. This was our 1st time there.

Man, I had been looking for about a year for the perfect camper for myself and my two young kids and Jeremy at McGeorge GOT IT DONE!!!! From start to finish, this man hit the pavement hard and fast to try and find what would fit us best for our needs. It was not easy finding what we needed as we have a 4 door rzr we were trying to make sure would fit, and let me tell you, Jeremy each time would go and literally measure to the tee to see if it would fit. I cannot thank him and the camping world staff for getting it done, getting me in and out as fast as possible, and simply the family atmosphere it felt like there. I always say that if you can grind your butt off for your customers, they will always return to you/refer to you and thats my plans moving forward. You know this is THE camping world to go to even if I did have to drive 3.5hrs because as you might just assume as well, I WAS NOT THE ONLY ONE TO DO THAT lol. Thank you Jeremy, Give this man an office and raise!

We are first time RV owners and really had a lot to learn about the whole process of selecting, purchasing, using, and maintaining a travel trailer. Xavier facilitated the entire transaction and brought in several of his associates that specialized in what we needed and how the travel trailer works. The team was straight forward and open with advice. We are doing our shake-down cruise this coming week and are very excited. Highly recommend Xavier.

Chad Tyree was extremely helpful, and very attentive. I was shown several campers and decided on the one that I liked. When it was not at that location, he searched for the same model at other locations, and was able to find it and have it shipped to the same location.

This review may be difficult to explain in detail. Let me say I can recommend them, just make sure you STAY in contact and FOLLOW UP. I spent many countless hours here dealing with the purchase, delivery, and delay of our 2020 MPG2500BHS. I dealt with lies, apologies, great service, complaints, miscommunication, promises not kept, and damage to a brand new unit.THE GOOD:FIRST:Our sales person Shane was good. The amount of time he spent with us is unmatched. I appreciate everything he did and tried to do for us.SECONDJessie in delivery is fantastic, an angel, a caring person, and communicated well. She did everything possible even when the sales side messed up. When the technician punctured the outside of our 2020 MPG fixing molding on the inside Jessie assured me it would be handled and handled well. She was right!THIRD:Most of the staff running around the building was always nice and helpful. They answered questions and treated everyone well.THE BAD AND THE UGLY:FIRST and ONLY:Robbie (Sales Manager) lies and misinforms. He insults women and I would not recommend dealing with him. Another employee felt as I did about his treatment of female customers. He told my wife multiple times that damage to a brand new unit was normal and not normally fixed. Now, when he dealt with me, it was going to be fixed and got fixed. I walked away from the first deal he offered as the number sounded wrong, well it was. I wanted the OUT THE DOOR price and thought I had that, nope he gave me the unit price only and when I went back the price drastically changedTHE REASON I CAME BACK AND BOUGHT:Dan the general manager is a great guy and genuinely tried to fix everything. Only mistake was making a promise that he could not keep. When my 2020 MPG Dan told me the last thing he wanted me doing was leaving with a repaired unit that was brand NEW. Well, I left with a repaired unit. The person that did the BODY work did an amazing job. Dan did a great job recovering the mess Robbie created. Dan tried to keep the delivery on course. Dan tried to make amends by offering me $300 Camping World credit and for some reason that irritated me and my frustration with the whole thing spilled over. Probably because of the massive car accident that was the week before and that there was nothing I needed from the store since I was already a camper owner. Dan did not deserve that and I swallowed my pride to apologize. Dan, I am sorry!WHAT IS STILL OUTSTANDING?I am still waiting on the $300 check promised by Dan (My check arrived last week.) I am waiting for some parts to be shipped to me. With the shipping issues and closures I am not surprised there are delays.Every dealer is going to have good and bad reviews. Lord knows this one could have gone bad multiple times. Even with all this, I would recommend them as well as the one in Newport News, VA. I have more detail that explains each step, but that is not necessary for this. Just go check them out, talk to them, and communicate.

Mcgeorge has the pushiest finance team. They don't give you numbers until it's too late. DONT GIVE YOU COPYS OF YOUR LOAN. And Service is zero help. I bought a camper and the service department DIDNT HOOK THE TRAILER CONTROL UP TO THE CAMPER! YET TOLD ME THEY WOULDNT SCHEDULE A TIME TO BRING IT IN BECAUSE THE BREAK AWAY PIN WORKED. BUT WOULD CALL AND WALK ME THROUGH IT 200 BUCKS LATER I HAD A PERSONAL MECHANIC FIX IT BRAND NEW CAMPER STILL UNDER WARRANTY AND CRAP SERVICE.

Not a great experience. My folks were in from out of town and we were all excited to join the camping world. My folks have taken several trips out west with their camper and were eager to share their knowledge. Once we arrived no one greeted us. We walked around in the showroom and witnessed several employees on their phones, computers, and speaking to other employees. None of. The employees offered help until we decided to go walk outside to look at campers. We were quickly stopped and told we needed a sales rep to escort us through the displays, then walked away. We were then told we had to check in. There was only one person at the front desk checking people in with several employees sitting around. Needless to say we walked out and won't be doing buisness with McGeorge's RV. On the way out we ran into a stranger who made an interesting comment, "they're rude here that's why I go to General RV."

The staff at this location were very helpful and friendly.Timothy West was the salesman who assisted me. He took the time to show me many campers and answer all my questions. He was very friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. I am a first time camper and the staff took the time to educate me on how the camper works and what I needed for the camper. The staff went in-depth and took me through the process of setting up the camper step-by-step. They worked with us through the process and were flexible.I would 10 out of 10 recommend this company!

I dropped by doing some pre-buying research on a travel trailer. I met with Danny Browder and he was so amazing to work with! He was knowledgeable and really took time with me to hear me, and help find me just what I was looking for. He is super friendly and really funny! Go see Danny, he'll take care of you!
