Neal was great to work with purchasing a vehicle from him. He was stright forward and honest. I will definitely recommend this dealership to anyone.

I did not end up buying my car from here, but that is only because I didn't know what I was looking for when I showed up. I had had a horrible day of dealing with other dealerships and dealers when I showed up at East end 30 minutes before they were supposed to close. Robbie met us outside and I told him I was happy to come back because I wasn't going to ask to test drive with only 10 minutes left. He said he was there as long as I needed him. After the test drive he sat down with us and worked with me to figure out some financial questions I had about the whole process and was very sincere in his desire to make sure I had the best deal. So, even though I didn't get my car there, I would still recommend him to someone buying there first car! Thanks again!

My vehicle I purchased came with warranty that was suppose to cover repairs for engine and etc I got my vehicle on March 25th, vehicle went into shop April 2nd and still in there with 4894,31 worth of repairs , warranty is only doing 2300 coverage , I have several oil leaks(front spool valve leaking into the alternator , burning oil leaks oil pump re-seal, valves with gaskets adjust value cover gasket leaking ) and cam shaft! I haven't been able to enjoy my vehicle at all . Before going into the shop I had to put two new tires on it that was 393.08 something dollars with discount tires on March 29th .Still have to make payments on it no rental catching Ubers to get to places . Definitely a HUGE inconvenience. I called the nice ppl back , they won't help with not even giving me a car to drive until mines is ready, thru told me they will was unaware of the car issues and surprise warranty not covering all of it , I haven't even beable to pick up my tags because why no car . So yes The salesman and the owner was very nice but they got over on me! So after I cleaned it up and put my scent in it ..It went straight into the shop!!! Me having to come out my pocket 2594.31 is out of budget for me . The truck is only worth 7,000. I'm praying warranty calls back and decide to cover it all. So please be careful buying from here . I would like a REFUND and the deal unwind with credit acceptance. I haven't even driven 200 miles in vehicle. Honda dealership advise I was sold a bad car and dealership that sold it knew the vehicle had those issues because those repairs can't happen with driving miles

So the previous reviews made me a little hesitant to shop from East End Auto (btw, how can Ashland be considered East End anyways?...later found out this is a sister location to the actual East End), but I was really interested in a particular vehicle here for my senior parents. I was looking at a high mileage Toyota Highlander, but I banked on Toyota's reputation of reliability and quality and the Carfax was clean, so I brought my parents here anyways. We met Neal Brigham who didn't pressure us into anything and was very nice and pleasant to deal with from the get go. We don't go to the same church, but getting to know him was like buying from a fellow church member and friend that you know at your place of worship. Hey, that's just my take. In very casual conversation with him, he was open and honest about how the used car business works and where he gets his cars from (some being the local big-box Ashland dealerships, no auctions), what he won't accept and the laws & standards the State of Virginia holds him accountable to (like not being able to perform your own state inspections and placing on your own stickers). We also found out that he is retired HCPD. Thank you for your service!Anyways, the 204,000 mile Highlander Limited turned out to be solid like a rock and a great purchase for my parents. Neal allowed us to do an independent inspection at our longtime mechanic. Of course, the vehicle was used and had it's typical scratches and light cosmetic blemishes, but the previous one-owner took very good care of it overall. No major dents or dings. Our inspection revealed it may need a tune-up down the road. This is a USED car dealership. I'm not even so sure the cars can be considered 'certified', but you know or ought to know what you're getting into if you decide to buy a 'used' car. They won't be perfect. However, the Highlander drives and looks like it only has 104K miles, not the 204K it actually has.My parents did their own credit union for financing, so I can't review on that aspect. But the price was very fair and we didn't even bother negotiating; knowing the value of a quality Toyota and plus I already had similar cars on my Auto Trader list for price comparison. And Neal did the small things without hesitation or quibble like a new air filter, cabin filter, and a fix to the oil pan all before taking delivery without a bump up in price. So, not everything on the lot is a pristine, low-mileage, used Lexus even though there might be a few, but not everything is north of 200K also. If my needs or my family's needs were for a low priced, used vehicle on a budget, I would buy from here again. For what it is worth, I wrote this review 2 weeks after my parents took delivery and all is still well with their purchase.1 year update (3/17/21): The Highlander my parents bought is still running like a champ. Still no expensive issues or surprises that came up.

Neal is a very understanding, kind hearted person. This is the only place I'll ever buy cars from. He's very understanding and isn't out for a paycheck like all other salesmen. Support your small businesses, buy from here. You won't regret it.

Do not buy from Rob Fischer or anyone at this place. I answered a ad that he placed on Craigslist for a utility truck that was said to be in good shape and runs well, well 3 days later I'm having to replace a power steering pump (power steering fluid bottle under hood and the power steering bone dry) master cylinder. There were definitely red flags that I ignored so I blame myself some but to have a master cylinder and the power steering pump go after driving it 3 days tells me that he knew about it and he's a crook. Read and believe the reviews ....not the fake ones posted by friends to cover up the fact that they are all crooks there. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

Found a vehicle online at their Richmond location and they were ever so kind to have it transferred to the Ashland lot for me. Neal and Press were most professional, courteous, and helpful. The whole buying experience; from initial contact to the final signing of documents, was pleasant and smooth.I got the vehicle that I wanted (which I absolutely LOVE) in remarkable condition, at an unbelievably fair price and I'm most satisfied with my purchase.Thank You Press & Neal

I would go nowhere this place. Not 30 minutes ago my wife test drove a BMW X5 when she got back to East End Auto they had called the police on her. I guess a black woman test driving a high mileage used BMW has to be illegal somewhere. They told her they where all retired police officers. She had to wait for the police which made her 30 minutes late picking me up from work. Beware if you deal with this dealership. Service was awful. Worst in the city. I would refer Shehey Ford. When she pulled up the sales man was trying to break into my car. Not sure why but let it be known. Beware they are not good people.

We should have known from the very start how this place runs bc we were out test driving a car and came back pretty sure we wanted it then were told sorry it just sold! We won't go into details but let's just say that's not how it should ever work! Then the owner was very nice while we were purchasing another second choice car but after that he just became a real jerk! The car needed a wheel bearing after just 2 weeks which means they sell unsafe cars as well but when it was brought to them to fix they charged for it when it would have been covered under the warranty that he promotes which is thru a third party company! He knows NOTHING about the warranty or its process yet he offers it!! Shortly after this my fiance got into a wreck and totaled the car so he let the owner know and within less than 2 weeks the insurance company called to tell them what they were paying. They also sent us paperwork to complete to allow the title to be given to them since it was registered in my fiance's name but he had to sign it exactly how he signed for the car so he called there to be sure and the owner was in the background telling his guy to hangup on my fiance bc he didn't need anything from them the insurance had already called him.....this guy is a real piece of work!!! Steer completely clear of this place unless you like dealing with an unprofessional jerk....HE is the type of person who gives car salesman bad names!!!

Bought a jeep there for my son. Just about everything that could possibly have gone wrong . Went wrong . Breaks. Starter motor, battery alternator, etc. etc the pic below was the break rotor that came off of the jeep. I wouldnt buy a used bicycle from these guys... only reason I gave them one star. Was because they gave me 2 t shirts. Which I used to clean the oil off of my driveway

Brought a vehicle from EastEnd Auto of Ashland, sounded good at first until my vehicle started having major issues. They fixed a few issues but the major ones happened after that . My vehicle at the time was valued at $1200 but they charged me $6000 or $7000. Then I called them to get the amount to pay it off and the owner told me $1200 . I was willing to pay that much after having the car for over a year and and fixing many problems on the car. I called them because the car had broke down on me and I had to purchase another vehicle. Now they saying I owe them $4000. Rip offs . Do not get a vehicle here.

It's a pos car dealership. Don't expect your car to be in good condition. All dealers like this place don't care, they buy at auction for 1500 and sell you for 10000 lol.

Crazy inventory of vehicle and trucks. Ask for Pressley, he made the buying process easy and non-complicated.

They are crooks. They will sell you a piece of junk and try to rip you off. I wouldn't even give them a one star rating.
