Horrible experience at this Liberty with. Gloria the front clerk very rude and has very bad communication skills thisI recently moved in the area and decided to service my work van at this location. My company owns several vehicle and we re always on the lookout for new shops to service our vehicle s but this will not be the shop. The front clerk was very rude and not considerate of other people s time. The price and labor was firm and the mechanics did a great job. However, I will not bring business to a location that lacks customer service and people skills.

Best service center around. I've been getting my car inspected here for probably 15 years now. Gas prices are good and free air for your tires. Any repairs that I've had done have been at a good price.

Friendly staff, prompt service, and reasonable pricing comparative to the rest of Arlington. Will be my goto mechanic moving forward.

I decided to try Westover Service Center at the recommendation of a few colleagues. I was going to get an inspection and have a few things looked at. When I arrived I went inside to talk with the cashier and she instantly raised her voice and aggressively said "you can not come into this facility and we will not serve you without a mask on." I said, "oh no problem I didn't realize that," to which she said "just go outside." Mind you, she wasn't wearing a mask herself. The door had a sign about masking, but plastered with other posters, advertisements, etc., so it was difficult to see.For the record, I have no issues wearing a mask and respect the decision of the business. Yes, I'm fully vaccinated and the transmission rate in Arlington County is at the lowest it's ever been. However if you are going to mandate customers to wear a mask your employees should all be wearing them too. You should also have a few extras in case someone forgets. Finally, and this is what was a pass for me, raising your voice and greeting customers with a condescending tone is never cool.I'm disappointed I didn't get a chance to try them out and I hope their workmanship is better than their customer service.

We've been going here for decades. Wonderful, trustworthy mechanics and low gas prices.

Never had gone there until today but was treated very rude by the woman in the cashier desk, I wanted to pay for my gas but they started yelling at me about their mask policy? It's very weird considering it's been over a year since I was last asked by a store to wear a mask inside so in general I don't recommend this place because they were very rude about their mask policy and degrading at the same time I think it would be better if you go to one of the gas stations nearby which is only a few cents more but not that expensive and they don't require masks, hopefully they will change their policies and adjust, thanks!

Stopped to get gas and use the restroom. I walked in just to ask to use the restroom. I saw the mask signs but really needed to go and didn t have one in the car. I figured no harm if I ask really quick and then step back out. The lady with the braids was extremely rude. She just kept yelling at me without letting me get a word in. I finally decide to speak over her and say I have to use the restroom and the older gentleman sitting at the front was kind enough to tell me it was around the side of the building.I have no issue with wearing a mask and if I had one, I would ve gladly obliged. My mom is immunocompromised so I get it. There are certainly nicer ways to state that you have to have a mask. Perhaps having some in hand to lend to a customer without one. Yelling at someone repeatedly does not garner the results you desire. Next time I ll just stay at the Shell next door. I d rather pay $0.40 more in gas than deal with rude heffas.

Terribly poor customer service. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Very dirty unorganized place but asked to wear mask to protect themselves. Better to clean your shop first. Thats the better way you guys stay healthy. Tried to replace back tag number lights. I asked the price the woman at the register said $20 and tech guy said same amount as well. He took 40 min to replace that small job . He didn t know how he changes that. That s why took long time. By the end tried to pay it went up $42. Explanation was so stupid from their side. Better not to go there. Very rude very bad poor customer service. If you guys keep doing this no longer with this business anymore soon .

An absolute joke of a gas station and service station, the staff is absolutely ridiculous with the way they carry them self and their attitudes they have. I don t recommend going here for anything, definitely not with there being 3 other gas stations immediately within grasp. I would rather pay more for gas else where then to ever go to this gas station. What a poor excuse for a gas station, they need to mow this place down, rebuild and instill new management and a whole new staff. 10/10 would avoid and never go back, close this place down. What a load of bull

Fantastic Service. Anyone who says the staff are rude here, are probably entitled Karen-esc individuals who show no respect to their mechanics, aren t willing to wear a mask, or walk into the shop thinking the world revolves around them.I ve had nothing but incredible customer service here - they are fantastic & I ll be returning for all my future service. Great work at fair prices :)Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Oil change

I walked in to the cash register to pay cash for gas when immediately a younger guy told me I had to have a mask. Being it is 2023 and masks are no longer in enforcement I was stunned and turned to the older African American lady at the register who said something to the likes of "did you not just hear him you have to have a mask" in a very rude manner and saying it with the inflection of as if I were stupid. I immediately went on the defensive and cursed her out as she proceeded to curse back to me as I walked away to take my business elsewhere. She then started using the speaker system to continue to curse me out as I drove off. Never in my life have I experienced such horrendous customer service, will definitely go to Sunoco where there are no masks and friendly service. She needs to be fired!

I ve been taking our cars here for years! Always kind and professional. Never felt like we were being taken advantage of. I also really appreciate their current mask policy for inside bc one of their own passed away from covid back in the beginning of the pandemic. It is heartbreaking that people would give poor reviews because of that. Westover Service center is a gem!

I had no problem with their performance (I've been going there for years for car emissions & inspection). However the woman who took my payment was very rude to me. I'm not taking her poor behavior personally as I overheard her arguing with someone on the phone. But I won't be going back.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Vehicle safety inspectionServices: Vehicle Inspection, Vehicle safety inspection

My Subaru Outback threw a check engine light yesterday. After plugging in my ODB sensor I ascertained that I needed the up stream O2 sensor. I did not want to do the job myself, so I called around to a few places to get a quote for replacement. One of the shops I called was Westover Service Center at 5618 Lee Highway in Arlington. They quoted me $410.00 for the job, which was about $30.00 cheaper than their competition so I brought my car in for the work. The woman behind the counter was surprisingly rude to me from the start. I almost turned around and walked out, but I didn t since I was in a hurry to get the job done. I should have. They called me about 4 hours later to say they had finished, so my wife and I went down to pick it up. I was presented a bill for over $800.00. Included on this bill was a line item for $252.00 for an engine compartment gas strut with the note that my car had failed Virginia inspection and needed this to pass. I asked the woman what that was all about. I did not ask for my car to be inspected (It does not need one for another 6 months), nor did I approve any such repair. I also pointed out that I had been quoted $410.00 for the repair, and asked how it got to $800.00+? This is where things got really bad. She sat there and looked me in the eye and told me that her quote to me did not include labor. This was an out and out lie. She never said any such thing. When I showed her the $252.00 charge for a gas strut that I did not order, she took the invoice from me, said that was a mistake, and spent the next 10 minutes typing on her keyboard. When finished, she gave me the new invoice. The $252.00 line item was still there, but the explanation for it was changed to read labor for the repair. I was expecting the $252.00 to be removed, and to continue our discussion about here over charging me for labor. I now had an invoice with double labor charges: $140.00 and $252.00 for the same job. The total was still $800.00+. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Do NOT take your car here for service. They are a rip off, and they will lie to your face, and be rude while doing it.

the lady inside is awful. she yells about needing to wear a mask without wearing one herself. it's also an incredibly stupid policy that is so outdated and unnecessary. will never give them any business.

Good, reliable inspections, service, competence of the mechanics: I've always felt comfortable with the work they do here. Don't expect friendly greetings or much in the way of basic civility, but that's not what you came for... you wanted your car fixed, right? They do that here.

My favorite gas station in Virginia. I've been traveling by car for 3 years working down there 3 to 4 weeks per month. The gas station has great friendly workers, it's clean, new easy to use pumps, and they are honest caring people keeping prices the best around. I fill up there every time. Thank you all!!! Love this place! I live in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania

Mark Racer, Gloria, Dawn, the mechanics, and friendly folks that stop in make this a great neighborhood Gem in the Tara-Leeway and Yorktown area of West Arlington right off Interstate 66 and near the East Falls Church Metro, Great mechanics do fast, tough work and charge way below rates elsewhere. The gas is the least expensive of the 4 big gas stations in the two block space on Route 29 or Lee Highway. Highly recommend your trying it out.

I went in early on Thursday morning without an appointment. They gave me the safety inspection I needed right then, and an emissions inspection I would need in less than a month. I hadn't noticed that one. It was a reasonable price, and I was finished within an hour. I'll be going back when I need service.

I would go here for cheap things like an oil change or state inspection, but go somewhere else for expensive services. I dont trust them as much since the time I went there to get an oil change and they decided to go looking for extra work on their own and added coolant to my car without asking me first, then charged me as much for a small amount of coolant as it would cost to buy a gallon at Autozone, plus the labor fee.If you go there for an oil change be sure to tell them you only want an oil change and won't be paying them for other work they decide to go and do on their own without authorization.

I grew up in this neighborhood and Mark has been doing auto care since before I was born. His staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Westover Service always does right by the customer and there's no worry about paying for extraneous service or getting a bad deal here.

Walked in and they said I needed a mask, not respectful either. I guess they were living in 2020. Better stations nearby.

My son recently experienced problems with his alternator and battery. The work done on his car took only two working days. The quality of work seems to be good, and the shop prices for labor seem to be on average. My problem is that the alternator they replaced was done so with a remanufactured alternator. I have no problem with a remanufactured part, but the price we were charged bordered on price-gouging. The charge for this part was $360! A new Bosch alternator for his car prices out at $140 max, and even less at Advanced Auto, which is just a block away from this business. We were told that they HAD to use the parts supplier from which it came, and that was their price plus profit. I understand profit margins and have no problem with that, but this is over a 150% markup, and on a remanufactured part at that. Two days after the work was done, the remanufactured alternator stopped working! A replacement was made - another remanufactured alternator. Buyer beware!

the honest, independent neighborhood mechanic still exists.I had to have some major repairs done to my oldsmobile (and was looming for a new mechanic). Mark really took his time to make sure i understood everything that needed to be done. they also made sure i wasnt overrpaying for new parts when the old ones didnt need to be replaced a rarity these days. obviously, ive found a nee home for my car.

Mark runs a tight shop. Spends time and cares about helping people, and invests time into repair - often arranges follow up no-charge check ups to make sure repairs stick. Very happy to have him as our local mechanic.

One of the lowest prices for premium gas in NoVA means I try to top off whenever this place is conveniently-close to my route.Cramped lot and have to navigate a _busy_ road to get in an out are my main knocks.
