Such a wonderful, family-owned business! Went in today for my Virginia Safety inspection, and was immediately greeted with a warm welcome. To my surprise, so was my dog, Bernie. I really appreciated how quickly and efficiently the test was completed, and Bernie really appreciated the attention and pets from the friendly owners. Thank you again for the wonderful and super convenient service!

Update on response given : This business is completely dishonest and lying about any attemptTo help or fix the issue, they took our money and attempted to tell me to pipe it down a notch when I was upset about them not willing to help us or refund us on the issue that was supposed to resovled $400 later. They lied and neat around the bush telling me we didnt know you wanted it to pass a safety check Why would we pay allThis money to get it checked of we didnt wantthe vehicle to pass??!!!Please do not believe anything they try to publicly address tnese people are scammers!!!Horrible absolutely horrible customer service they took our money. We spent almost $400 for them to do a diagnostic check. The lights were completely fixed after a week of driving it at all came back when talking to this man on the phone which supposedly was the owner he tried every trick in In the book to tell us that he didn t know us for a diagnostic and refused to fix our car or give us a refund. Please do not take your car here they are scammers. We will definitely be filing a civil issue and reporting them.

This family run business has been taking care of our cars for over 20 years. They have kept our older cars safe and on the road and our newer cars like new.They have always been completely honest in identifying the issues that MUST be done now to either a) prevent further damage later or b) to keep the car safe. But they also let us know of issues that are progressing, but don't need to be fixed at this time.I have always felt like they are looking out for our best interest and they become a partner in the long-term care of your car.We have recommended them to many other families who become long-term customers.If you are new in the area, don't understand cars, or you value a long-term relationship that takes care of your car, this family of mechanics is for you.

Absolutely stellar customer service. I ve been taking my 1999 Acura here for 8 years and they ve kept it running beautifully. Their pricing is super fair, they re always honest and straightforward, and get any work done really quickly.

Quick service for emissions and safety inspection. Dropped off at opening, two cars were complete in 1.5 hours.Came back a week later for re-inspection and experienced the same quick service. Will definitely visit again.This shop only accepts cash for state inspections, fyi!

Absolutely superb experience. As a young woman, I'm used to people trying to upsell me during inspections, but I was in and out in less than 30 minutes without question. Can't recommend enough! Remember to bring cash though!

Do not go here!!! The young guy that works here has a real attitude and shouldn t be trusted to work on vehicle or do inspections. God forbid you pull into one of the lanes while their parking lot is full he ll have a bad attitude and ask you if you pull into peoples home without their permission. Anger and business don t mix, especially when it comes to mechanics. Take your business elsewhere, where your money is appreciated.

No appointment needed for annual safety inspection. I dropped off my car. The nice woman said it would be ready within 45 minutes. She d call me. I walked over to Clarendon to see which of the retail businesses and bars had closed. I got a call after 30 minutes to fetch the car. $20. Cash. I m happy.

I've been to Pham's a few times now, and I love that they're a small, family-owned business. They're efficient, effective and honest. I appreciate their integrity and honesty the most since I'm no car guru myself. I had one of my headlights go out on my Subaru Outback, which is a more complicated fix than for many other vehicles (which I did know in advance). Pham's gave me the price in advance, and it felt fair since the labor was difficult. After replacing my headlight, the woman at the front desk told me that the labor was actually easier than expected and therefore charged me only half of the original price. They could have mentioned nothing and taken my money, and I wouldn't have known. But they took the high road and were transparent with me, a quality that I seek out in an auto repair shop. If you're looking for a shop you can trust, this is it.

My experience at Pham's was amazing. They made it so easy to get an inspection. They were also super friendly and easy to talk to and honest. They were able to take my car immediately. I was in and out in 10 minutes. I'll definitely return for other services.

An extremely transparent and honest family runs this place. I took my car to get a state inspection at a separate shop down the road and they quoted me over a grand to pass inspection. Not only did Pham s ask me questions to ensure they were in compliance with the laws, they also talked me through each necessary repair to pass inspection. Additionally, they recommended optional repairs for no additional labor charge since they were already incurring labor. They truly try to keep the price reasonable. Not only did they do more work than the first shop quoted me at, but they charged less. Fantastic service! I will be a regular here!

I was really impressed with the service I received from here: efficient, honest and friendly; and they were careful to explain exactly (and patiently!) what was wrong with our (very old) Lexus and what needed to be done. I compared prices and services with three other local repair shops before we went ahead with the work and I am totally happy with what was offered here. They were all also incredibly sweet with my 13-month-old daughter, bringing out toys for her to play with whilst we waited. A great family business, highly recommended.

I came for my state safety inspection and it was SO fast. I was in and out before I read 5 pages of my book! Just bring cash for the inspections.

My car has had a few issues over the past 2 years: an oil leak, coolant leak, and a broken rim. I've taken it to Pham's for every repair and will continue to use them for future services. They've fixed everything in a timely manner and are always helpful and communicative. Their prices are very reasonable and better than some nearby competitors.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Oil change

I came to Pham's Car Care Center about issues with my brake pads and rotors as well as an oil/filter change and my annual safety check. I've called a few auto shops to get a quote on the services that I needed and they clearly were overcharging me.Pham's Car Care Center did an amazing job and if I could give this business 100 stars, I would! Love these guys. Ive been taking my 2004 Mazda 3 there for 6 years now. The reason is they are honest. They would never try to scam you like so many mechanics in this area do. The quality of work and friendly atmosphere at the shop is also fantastic. Also their prices are super low!

Best mechanics in the business! I've been a happy customer for over 15 years. They've kept all of my cars running like new and they can fix anything. Honda, Jeep, Mercedes, Toyota. My Honda has almost 200k miles and runs great. Family business... extremely honest, great people, great location in Arlington, Va.

Expensive and trying to take more money from you!!!! Had them change my oil for the first time and was told I had an engine leak but it would cost more to fix it. I told them I would take it to the dealer because I have a warranty on the engine. The dealer kept my car for a week to let me know that they found nothing. I'm thinking Pham was trying to get more money from me. On top of that they charged me $40 in CASH to plug my tire. I've never heard of a company charging cash for a tire plug but accepting my charge card for everything else.After posting this review, I spoke with T. She apologized and was very pleasant to me over the phone. She even offered for me to bring my car back to show me the engine leak. After her brother explained where the leak was I called the Hyundai dealership and told them where the leak was located. They were able to look at the splash part and find the leak. I stand corrected on the oil leak with my car. Thank you Phams.Service: Oil change

I needed an emissions inspection and had gone to another place nearby days earlier. The experiences were like night and day. Pham's is clean, organized, respectful, and service was immediate. I shall return for other services!

my experience was magnificent. the front office manager was very polite and very knowledgeable of her responsibilities and the service or mechanic walked me through what was expected to pass inspection. and most of all i was in and out very speedy process. i highly recommend Pham's Car Care for all your auto needs.

Took my car there for an air conditioning repair and when I went to pay and the pick it up, the car wouldn't start. Never had that issue before. I asked and the guy said "it's an old car!" So the moral of the story is, only take new cars there or they may break something and you'll be in for an additional repair order.

The owners were very friendly. I had gone in for an emissions inspection. They took less than 15-20 mins to get it done. Although this was my first time, I am going to make this my go to place here in the Arlington area. Highly recommended.P.S. I had called before going and was informed that its first come first serve. Also told to bring cash. Not sure if this is cash only or just for the emissions test. Either ways it doesnt really matter to me. I'll just carry cash.

I gave my first one star review and dedicated to write this long comment because I was really astonished by their service and felt cheated. Here are what happened.1. They said that my front lights were worn out, they were right, but they insisted that I had to change them not fix them and charge me ~$350 for those, where another place basically polished them and charged me $90 for both.2. The safety warning keeps alarmed (they were right about that too), but they said it could be problem of the airbag, and their check, that move alone took $150, and they'll tell me how much more I'll have to pay after that check. Well, the other place identified the problem with 0 charges and it was only the problem of the safe belt detector.3. And last not the least, I went there to ask whether I should take an inspection to this vehicle to get the registration, it was March and my first time having a car so I knew I had to register it with inspection but little knowledge about how. And they said that I have to do the inspection. And after inspection they put the above problems on the table saying if I don't do it they'll not pass my inspection. But later, I found the inspection ticket on front window and it clearly suggested that the expired date was four months after!!! They were taking care of that car for at least 1 hour and I cannot imagine how these professionals did not notice the first thing before putting efforts, was it necessary?After all, you could argue they were going for my safety, but I wouldn't appreciate these excuses for their carelessness or unprofessionalism, or their greed. Well they get the location advantage by sitting next to DMV, but I will never go there and suggest you take a second thought.

My car wouldn t start so I took it to Pham s and they told me I needed a new battery and ignition coil. It was done and ready the same day before closing at 4pm. Great service, efficient and done in a timely manner. Thanks to Thy and family !

Although a small shop compared to the mega dealer stores, Phams is spotlessly clean, organized and friendly all at once. It is a community shop that has great service and customer support. I was very pleased with their honesty and forthrightness in dealing with my issues; and I am not an easy custome.
