Wow, everything about this was a great experience! My 2020 Volkswagen has never looked so great. They were able to schedule me very quickly, same day, and finished way more quickly than even quoted. I couldn t recommend Capital Shine more.

I have lived in DC 9 years and I looked far and wide for a good car detail and luckily found Capitol Shine 4 years ago and have been using them ever since. They are the BEST in the business for all your car needs from a wash to a full detail to paint--whatever you need. They are very responsive and do a A+ job. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

I was excited to get a professional wash and vac here as there appears to be no places around here that actually have good automatic wash and self vac. I had just returned from a road trip with my dog so I took off the seat protectors and removed literally everything from the car in order to make it as easy for the crew as possible. I tried not to laugh once I got a good look at my car once I left the garage. I cannot believe I spent about $100 (tip included) for a very disappointing job on both the hand wash and vacuuming. There was still dog hair everywhere. On top of that, there was still a lot of visible dirt/grime on the outside of the vehicle. Definitely will NOT be returning. I could have done a better job vacuuming and hand washing it myself, but unfortunately I just don t have the resources living in an apartment in the city. It s great that I still have to vacuum the vehicle myself after all that money and take it through another wash.Update: Melvin called me almost immediately after I posted my review and offered to have me bring my car back for them to re-wash/vac free of charge. I ended up declining to bring it back as I honestly just don't have the time and would prefer do it myself at this point. I have to say though, excellent customer service! I was offered a full refund since I was not going to bring it back and Melvin apologized for the job not meeting my expectations.

This place is in a parking garage with no natural sunlight so if you think your car looks good after they do their job...just wait till you get in the sunlight....terrible!!! Don't use these folks unless you just want a carvwash. they possibly can't offer you quality services without natural sunlight.Service: Paint repairService: Paint repair

BEWARE!! This is not the place to have ppf or stek or vinyl wrap for your car. The team is cool people and very friendly. They are incompetent even with washes. You pay 100 dollars or 150 dollars for a car wash and if you point something out they say it s the customer being difficult. I had my Porsche Panamera wrapped blue here and they had it for almost 3 weeks. When I tell you they sold me a dream and had Huge expectations I was very disappointed when I got my car. The vinyl looked like it was edged by a 4th grader. I went to 3 wrap shops they said it was very poor work because they made it seem I was being picky. If you pay over 7k you should be picky!!! You should double check your work. TRANSMISSION LIGHT CAME I TOOK IT TO PORSCHE AND THEY SHORTED SOMETHING AND IT HAD MANY ERRORS. I recorded the tech talking and sent it to them. The manager said they would fix it but as time passed the wrap was peeling and It had so many imperfections. Bolts missing, taillights misaligned, paint scratches from not using knifeless tape, parts missing. I told them to refund me and remove and I ll give them that they did because they know it was a a poor job and I didn t want to keep bringing it back to get things fixed. Initially I purchased ppf(paint protection film) on the whole front end and they wrapped vinyl over it so that said it s common. I agreed to keep the ppf and they would remove the vinyl wrap. They said it will be good to go when I pick up. I PICKED IT UP THEY MISSED HALF THE PPF ON THE BUMPER AND SAID IT MUST HAVE RIPPED OFF WITH THE VINLY. is there no double or triple checking work here?!?? I messaged them they said bring it by and we will put it on. They said it would have stay a day or two for it to cure. I had work so I said I d bring it by some time later. Eventually the partial ppf that s on the bumper after a couple days starts to peel up! I told them I ll take my business somewhere else. I asked for a refund and they said no because my bumper had bad paint! WHY WOULD YOU PUT OR LAY ANYTHING ON BAD PAINT! my paint isn t what s bad it s the inability and incompetence of capital Shines team. I have trim pieces missing, bolts missing, too much to list. Do your research before you come here. Pictures will speak more volume.

I visited Capitol Shine based on the reviews and was not disappointed. Rob, the CEO, gave me excellent guidance and described various services since I am inexperienced when it comes this type of labor. He never seemed rushed and took his time pointing out the different offerings. He fit me in last minute even though their schedule was busy and also returned phone calls on his day off to answer questions. Melvin, the general manager, was also very helpful and fast on returning calls. This is a top notch operation. I had the Ceramic Pro Gold package applied and did a total interior cleaning as well. I ll be coming back here monthly for washes. These guys know their stuff and they are focused on making sure the customer is happy and well educated about their purchasing options. You won t find better.

If I could I would rate them at ZERO stars, but you have to select a star to leave a comment. I dropped my car off at Capitol Shine in Arlington at 0730 and picked it up at 1530. This Is the their "Full Detail" package at $275. I was fortunate that they tried to work with me and redo the car, but as I explained to the manager. They had the car all day and no one thought to do inspect the car after it was deemed cleaned. The front office worked with me and refunded my money to my credit card. I know I will never go to this establishment again, if you choose to become a customer I recommend you drive the car outdoors (outside of their garage) and do another inspection before driving away. I will add, the manager at the Arlington location and the front office lady were nice and professional. If they had a review for customer service I would give them 5 stars.

Paint Protection and Ceramic Coating for Tesla Model 3 -I received outstanding service from Capitol Shine on my car. I purchased a full front end PPF and whole body Ceramic Coating. The finished product looks great, but the best part of my experience was the customer service. Unfortunately there were a lot of complications in my service (cracked windshields, dust under the first PPF), but Capitol, and their awesome rep Kimberly, kept me updated constantly through text and voice, and made sure every single issue was resolved before I had my car back. They even spent time and resources driving my car over to Safelite for the windshield issue. PPF and Ceramic coating is an expensive investment and I felt my investment was well worth it at Capitol Shine.I will update this review if I notice any defects or issues arise in the near future. So far there are none.

I found Capitol Shine after looking through reviews of companies via Google and Yelp. I liked how their website broke down the different service packages. They also appeared to have favorable reviews and pictures where you could see the before and after images. When I called to inquire further, their receptionist/dispatcher was very knowledgeable about the services and process. She answered all of my questions and was very responsive in following up with the e-mail confirmation for my appointment. She also checked the schedule for the holiday to make sure that I could get the location and time slot I needed. The day of the appointment (today), the same receptionist was also very helpful in directing me to the service station and in following up to tell me when my car was ready after cleaning.My car was cleaned this morning by Dominic and Kumol, who did a FANTASTIC job!!! Before dropping the car off, it had just accumulated grime to the point where I didn't really want to take people in my car and it was weighing me down. I had already tried cleaning it with my regular household tools, but really wanted a professional level of cleaning since they have all the proper equipment and expertise. I decided I wanted the interior shampoo package for my mid-size sedan. I was SO EXCITED to received my car after Kumol and Dominic serviced it. It was like having a brand new car!!! Capitol Shine definitely met and exceeded my expectations with their professionalism and quality of service. I was a little worried, too, because I haven't used any detailing companies yet since I've been in this area (DMV), so I was so relieved that my money was well spent with their business. Dominic and Kumol were perfect gentlemen and did a top notch job on my car. My car is 8 years old and not a fancy brand, but they nevertheless provided a great service such that my little sedan looks AWESOME!!!It made me so happy to have my car look like they day I bought it and I am so excited about driving it even just for errands or to work now because it looks so presentable and professional! It actually makes me feel so much better and relieved. I would highly recommend this business and I will definitely be bringing my car back to them, though I will be trying to keep the car as nice as they left it so that I don't undo all their good work!!! :D Thank you guys, at Capitol Shine, so much!!!

I'd like your clients to know you charged a 12 year client a premium fee for professional XPEL wrap service - and after FOUR treks back to your shop, the wrap is still in poor condition (bubbling, peeling, missing parts not installed before delivery). The fee was reasonable. The quality and the hostility to own the mistake and mediate - unprofessional. BUYER BEWARE before trusting a quality vehicle for XPEL - do your homework. Capitol Shine is not the option that will give you the detail and back their work.Service: Paint repair

Recently got a ceramic coat put on by Capital Shine and I am blown away by the results. Paint looks better than new and cleaning bird droppings/road gunk off the car is a breeze. Also big shout out to Melvin who went above and beyond with his service as well and made me feel really comfortable about making this big change to my paint. From start to finish, it has been an amazing experience dealing with Capitol Shine. We received a quote for Ceramic Pro protection for the paint on our 2020 4Runner. Toyota's are notorious for terrible paint so we wanted to protect our investment. Scheduling the appointment was easy and the end result is just plain outstanding. We have received many compliments on how great the paint looks and you will see from the photo, it looks like a mirror. Amazing service from Kimberly scheduling our appointment and our technician was Joseph. He kept up informed for the entire time they had the car and his after care follow-up was fantastic.

I just got my car full detailed here. It was long overdue for a deep cleaning and care to be done on the wash side, but Capitol Shine delivered! I was very impressed with the service and all of the staff I interacted with. I noticed one missed spot on my car and they happily went in for another round of polish. Although they couldn't resolve it today, I am still happy with the work they did and they offered to spend more time on that specific area when I come back. Very great experience, highly recommend them, my car looks as good or better than it did new!!Services: Full body wash, Clay bar treatment, Seat shampooing, Auto detailing, Wheel washing

I had my Tesla Model Y wrapped by these amazing professionals. Kim was beyond amazing, keeping me up to date with everything, even providing color recommendations that turned out wonderful. I will sing their praises to anyone that will listen. If you are in the market for their services, I highly recommend them, you well not be disappointed.

I chose this place for the many positive and high reviews and they definitely delivered on quality! I took my mustang in for an exterior detail/wax sealant with some tinting and they did an amazing job. There was a tiny mishap where a small spot was missed on the exterior, and they did a full on Avengers assemble in the next day to rectify the problem. The homie Kamal paid extra attention and made sure the car was retaken care of and you can tell these people are car enthusiasts. Highly recommend!Services: Steam cleaning, Full body wash, Clay bar treatment, Auto detailing, Wheel washing, Window tinting, Car waxing

Incredible work and outstanding customer service! Had black satin matte PPF applied to my new BMW X7. It looks absolutely fantastic!!! I ve been very impressed with Kimberly s great customer service. Very quick to respond to questions and get my car in. Highly recommend Capitol Shine for PPF and wraps. You won t be disappointed.

When I decided to get my Porsche wrapped, I had many options outside of the DMV. since I had Rob and his staff to do Ceramic Pro on my car last year. I decided to put faith in him and his staff to wrap my car in Miami Blue and Hi Gloss Black Carbon Fiber. I'm blown away with the results as you can see in the picture. Thank you Rob and your staff. They are very Talented.

I m a bit overdue on my review. Last year I purchased the ceramic pro gold package including paint prep to remove some swirl marks from I assume the detailing at the dealership.These folks are super professional, they walk you through what needs to be done and why. the price is fairly high compared to do it yourself with an orbital and ceramic pro/equivalent, and you typically need to schedule a few days out but you definitely get what you pay for. You know it s done right and is warrantied. I love how the water just rolls off the car when it rains and how easy it is to keep clean.They did put a tiny chip in my paint due to the automatic opening rear hatch and low ceilings in their garage but offered to make it right. I ll definitely be back for a periodic maintenance detail because it comes out looking like new

My truck has never been washed by anyone except...well me. But I m out of the country and won t be able to get the winter crud off for some time so I wanted someone who would take care my truck as well as I do. After days of searching online, I finally found these guys and asked my wife to take it in. I don t think I could have done a better job than they did. Thanks for taking care of my baby! Yesterday was my fifth visit to Capitol Shine in the Arlington Courthouse area in five years -- my annual pilgrimage to have my Ceramic Pro inspected, along with a thorough soup-to-nuts washing, vacuuming, wheel cleaning, and detailing. I have known Kimberly (and the CEO, Rob) and a number of staff over the years, and I couldn't be more positive about the team, including Melvin who hooked me up during my last appointment. For any interested first-timers, go onto their website and send a request and/or give them a call to ask questions and/or get scheduled. They'll gladly work with you for listed services, and should have you some explicit needs, just let them know. Their location in a lower level of a parking garage in the Courthouse area should NOT dissuade you. Follow the directions provided in their appointment email, and you'll be good to go. My SUV has a finish and look that no one could question is "brand new", and that is in no small part to the fantastic work that Capitol Shine has done with applying Ceramic Pro from the start and follow-up "sport coats" every year since. I highly recommend their service, and if you want your vehicle to have that "new finish" look for years, Capitol Shine is the place to start and continue going.Services: Full body wash, Auto detailing, Wheel washing, Auto interior vacuuming

I brought my A4 here that has over 125k on the odometer, for a full detail, and they did a great job bringing the shine back to the paint! Great job on the clay bar and wax job! The interior is flawless as are the wheels.They did such a great job that my spouse might bring their car here as well! Thank you!!

Capitol Shine did an AMAZING job on my car. I got the full detail and couldn t be happier. Everything about the experience was 5 stars. Kim was so friendly and helpful. The detail team did such a good job I don t think my car has ever been this clean. This was my first time ever getting a detail and I am just so happy with how it came out! Highly recommend!

Working with Capitol Shine has been a delightful experience. We had PPF installed on our Telsa Model Y in early January and the end result was incredible. They did a fantastic job. Fast forward 3 weeks later, and our car accidentally scrapped the side of the garage putting a huge scratch on the driver side bumper. Immediately I thought I was doomed to an expensive body shop bill. I was able to get in touch with Capitol Shine to have someone take a look at the large scratches, and was immediately relieved. One of their technicians took a look and determined that the scratches were only paint transfer, and that the PPF protected the car as designed. The tech. took time out of his day to help remove the paint with cleaner and elbow grease in about 15 minutes. The bumper looked just like new again. Capitol Shine couldn't have provided a better customer experience to a severely worried customer - we will 100% be back for future car detailing needs.

I used Capitol Shine to apply PPF, Ceramic Coating, and Window tinting to my Rivian R1S. The price was competitive, but that is not why I chose them. The customer interaction, explanation of the process, and then the actual installation was top notch professional. The results were spectacular. The customer service at this place is wonderful! Bleach spilled all over my car carpet and my car had a terrible and strong odor. Kimberly and the owner were extremely supportive in helping with my situation. After the first wash the odor still didn't go away so they offered a complimentary second wash. Unfortunately the smell is still there a bit but that will probably go away with time. Regardless, this service, friendliness, and quality of work was amazing and I will definitely be coming back for additional services.
