I called ahead to confirm that they are open on Sundays. They let me know they are open until 1:30 PM. I was able to get the repairs needed to pass my emissions inspection. It was quick and reasonably priced.

A rare place that does inspections on Sunday! The staff were prompt and professional, and both the Va. inspection and emissions took less than 30 minutes total. Highly recommend.

I purchased a Groupon voucher for a Full synthetic oil change for $70 as a gift to my daughter working in Arlington VA. She works at the MedStar Hospital in DC and free on weekends to handle chores such as this. She was there today (on a Saturday) and when the voucher was presented, was told that they do not accept that on Saturdays. There was absolutely nothing stated on the voucher about this. else I would not have purchased it. She ended up paying out of pocket, and now I have to hassle with Groupon to get my money back. If you want extra business by offering a discount voucher, make it clear in the requirements, and not scam customers. This could have been a 4-5 star but now just 2 stars.

Rejected safety inspection over something very minor, which I understand because it is the law -- safety first. I asked the technician several times to make sure that he thoroughly remove sticker/residue from the rejection sticker placed on brand new windshield the day before. However, bunch of nasty residue was left on windshield obstructing view -- unsightly and unsafe. Now, I have to carefully work around the sticker to try to get the residue off the best I can when it would have been much easier to simply exercise some care and remove the residue before a new sticker was placed. This should be about vehicle safety!

Do not go to this place, bad service bad results, I wish I paid attention to the bad reviews, this place sucks. Better off going to a dealership and pay a little extra but you have better results and guarantee.

I brought my car in to get my bumper replaced. I was extremely pleased with the professionalism, and quality of work done. In addition, the quote I was given when I first brought it in, was the exact number I paid when the work was finished. The paint was a perfect match, you would never know it was a replacement bumper. These guys are very friendly, efficient, and also walk you through exactly what they are going to do. The car was ready exactly when they said it would be and they were also very flexible about when I was available to come pick it up. I can t wait to come back for any services I need in the future!

Have been a customer here for two years and have always been very pleased and impressed with their service. The first time I brought my vehicle was for a state and emissions inspection. They found that there was a small repair needed to my engine to pass the emissions (a repair I already knew about from another mechanic) and recommended I get that done first and THEN do emissions. They not only offered me a better price for repair but also won my trust as they could have easily charged me for emissions even though they knew it would not pass. As a young woman with basic knowledge in vehicles, I trust they will provide me with quality and fair service!I have brought my vehicle since for all my needs including inspections, oil changes, battery replacement, engine repairs, cabin and air filters.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Battery, Oil change

I stopped in for a state inspection on a Friday afternoon pretty close to close and had a wonderful experience. Everyone was so nice and I was in and out within 10 minutes. They even offered to turn my car around for me since it s a little tricky to back out of the garage. I m very impressed with their professionalism, especially since I m a very young looking female. They even offered to fix some other part of my car unrelated to the inspection and gave me an estimate on the spot. I will be coming back!Service: General repairs & maintenance

READ! DONT GET YOUR INSPECTION HERE. I Went there because there was some great people that i had busniess with last year. but now i saw new faces when i went for safety inspection. the inspection guy went to far and exagerated for the required repairs.he expectes me spend +1000$ on a 20yo car just to pass inspection. I dont mind fixing important stuff such as brakes and lights etc but why the hell would u want me to replace the whole drivetrain otherwise u would fail it. went somewhere else and was only asked to replace some bulbs and brake pads. i used to recemmend this place to all my friends for inspection. but not anymore. I would never go back there.

DO NOT GO HERE. CROOK. Unfortunately I wasn t there but this business charged my girlfriend $95.00 to run a check engine light diagnostic. Told her nothing was critical but would send her a email/report of what the read out was. Never sent anything. Has not followed up.The codes have cleared and there are no issues with her vehicle. Very disheartening to see an untrustworthy mechanic in the area. $95.00 for what any auto parts store will do for free.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I called Sunday morning to verify that they would be open and doing emission inspections. I double checked their business hours and decided to get my inspection done there, however I was met with a locked door, shut lights, and unanswered phone calls. This is extremely unprofessional considering It was well before their listed closing time, I took the courtesy to call and verify, and I drove from a bit far away. If you love wasting gas and not getting the service you need, I would recommend this place. Otherwise stay away!

I went here for my emissions inspection. My car initially failed secondary to an oxygen sensor. I then made a follow up appointment to get the sensor replaced, but when I showed up, they kept my car for 2 hours before calling to tell me they couldn't get the part in. This is despite the fact that I made this appointment same day for 10 days after my initial inspection and filling out paperwork that they required to reserve my appointment and get the parts in. Plus, I made the appointment for 8 AM and no one showed up till 815. Then they stated they would try again to get the part and I never heard from them again. Totally disorganized and not worth the time. Avoid this place.

I have always been nervous and hesitant to use a mechanic due to poor past experiences. Typically they over charge or suggest fixes that are unnecessary to the problem. I have NEVER been disappointed with Arlington Auto Repair. I've taken my car and my partner's car here multiple times and they always do phenomenal, professional and clean work at a cost so low you'll wonder how you've never been there before. Literally my favorite mechanic and thankful to have them in the area!

I took my car in for a inspection at Arlington Auto Repair and I could not be more happy with my experience. The owner took my car in right away and started on my inspection. I'm not sure if he knew I was trying to make it to work but I was happy they were able to start on my car right away. This is the second vehicle we have brought here for service and we plan to come back as long as we live in the area.

It was my big mistake going there. They are very dishonest and delusional. When they checked my car he said it needs a parts that need to be ordered. so he ordered it and took $90 from me in advance. after waiting more than week parts arrived. so i dropped of my car in the very early morning. at 1pm i made call if car ready for pick up , he says two more hour. then after 3 more hour i went there and being informed by someone else that they didn't fix it. they even didn't put the parts in. they tried to fix it without replacing the new parts so that they can keep $800 bucks for themselves. so i got very disappointed b/c my two whole day being wasted and their big guy jimmy stolen $90 bucks from me without doing any work for the parts which i paid in advance. Don't go to this dishonest and delusional place to waste your time and money .

I have never been here before but I needed a safety and emissions inspections today. I found this place online and went in.I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with how quick, efficient and professional this young man was. The place is very clean and he wore a mask. I felt comfortable going there during Covid-19. If the mechanics are like this inspector I will be returning for future repairs, my Friend who was with me was very impressed also !!!!!

I have met the owner and heard his business strategy. His goal is to provide a good honest service for a fair price. If you are not satisfied you should ask to speak to the owner, and he will genuinely listen to you. He is trying to build a business based on honesty which is tough to find nowadays. I started going there for his less expensive oil changes and then started getting major repairs done. Everythime I felt I was treated well.

Ordered a part for my vehicle with a $100 deposit and figured it would take a few days to get to the shop, so since I had an extremely busy week at my business I did not bring my car back for a little over a week figuring they would call me if there was an issue. I came back that morning to drop off my car before work and the receptionist tells me I never came the next day so they returned the part I ordered. I asked them if they called me to let me know it had arrived and they were going to return it and she said yes but we don t leave voicemails a lot of the time... so how am I supposed to know you ever called?? I don t answer random calls. Bottom line is they had no reason not to let me know and therefore I had to come out of my way for nothing and still don t have my car fixed to pass my emissions test. The receptionist offered no reconciliation and basically made it seem like it was my mistake. Overall would not trust this mechanic because their management and front operations are very unorganized and not customer service oriented. I won t be coming back that s for sure.

Best place, best service,and great prices. Jimmy was professional and extremely helpful with getting my car taken care of. They are a little slow, but again, I showed up with no appointment and a car full of issues. Jim took care of everything and gave us a fantastic price. I am extremely happy with the work that was done and of course their price. Thank you!!

Not a fan of this place at all. I had my S-Class towed here for brakes and tires. I hadn't physically seen the place until I got there to pick the vehicle up. I have no issues with the brake and tire job they performed but I don't like the close quarters that they store the vehicles in. I could barely open my car door because they were so close together and one of the mechanics had to guide me in order to back out because the space was so narrow. When I got the vehicle home I noticed it was leaning to the driver's side so I had it towed to Mercedes. They told me the air suspension had been damaged and the car is now undrivable until I pay $2800 to fix it. I emailed Arlington Auto Repair about this and they never responded. I had never had any issues with my suspension until I took the car here.

Went here a few months ago for a state inspection and they failed me, quoting me $1,500 in repairs to pass my car. Went to Joe s Auto Service in Woodbridge and they passed me in about 20 minutes for half the price.
