Be aware of these my first and last last visit. My car had a check engine light issue, so I took it there for the first time to get it fixed. They asked me to do a diagnostic without even knowing the problem. I agreed and told them to go ahead and clear the check engine light and fix my car. They ended up charging me $290 for just clearing the engine and said it was a coolant pipe bypass valve issue. I thought it was fixed, but after driving for 30 minutes, the same issue came back. I called them and they told me to bring it back. One person said it was an electrical issue and asked me to come back tomorrow, while another person said I needed to change the second pipe. I was so confused about who to listen to. They promised to call me the next day, but they never did. When I went back, they told me I needed to install another part. "Can't catch a break with my car! Took it to the mechanic to clear the engine, but turns out they want me to pay almost the same amount to change the second coolant pipe. If the check engine comes back, they'll replace the whole engine! Asked for a refund on the labor money since they couldn't fix the issue, but they refused. Regretting going there, they practically stole my money! And to top it off, my check engine light is still on! Lost $290 and the same problem persists.Why didn t they disclose the entire issue upfront? It s ironic how they expect me to estimate the cost without all the information. This lack of transparency is concerning.Worse experience ever.I m so frustrated from this experience

Going to a new shop is stressful, but these guys were great!Had my truck towed here for a flat tire. The guys met me as truck was offloaded, quickly assessed the tire, carefully got me into the bay, did a clean patch and got me out.The real win for me was their assurance they would get me in and out and back to my family. My anxiety from the bad night evaporated as they focused on making it right.They've got a new returning customer!

Called because I needed front struts and swaybar links installed. Hunter was efficient and helpful with providing an estimate for labor. I was able to drop my car off and get the work done without any issues the next day. The lead mechanic Buddah was thorough and got me taken care of. All of the staff memebers are respectful and helpful. Shop also has very good prices. Will definitely be coming here for any work needed on my vehicle from now on.Service: Steering & suspension replacement

BE AWARE !THIS PLACE PASSED MY EMISSION UNLAWFUL!6 months later I started receiving reports fromEnvironmental DEPARTMENT telling me to fix multiple things in my carHow is it possible just in such a short time my car needs so much repairs!!!!So I took it to A REAL HONEST MECHANIC AND THEY TOLD ME TEST WAS NOT PERFORMED PROPERLY....WHAT A SHAME HOW YOU PLAY WITH THIS ......

Sent my vehicle for inspection recently.The shop did some work on the vehicle and had to open some plastic covers under the car. The plastic covers were not screwed back in afterwards, and they dragged on the road, making it unsafe to drive.The shop needs to check their cars before they are ready for the customers, because my car was not.

Came to nationalsHad serious problem with my Mercedes took it to the dealer the dealer was charging me almost $7000 brought it to national auto repair they literally fixed it for a couple hundred dollars the best of the best I m very satisfied with their work and I would definitely recommend anyone to come hereService: Transmission

I really love this place and I drive all the way from McLean to come here. I have been coming here to get my car serviced for years. Both me and my dad! They are always super helpful and always are available to fix my car!Thank you for everything you do! You're mechanics are great!

Watch out for this people!! They want money! Your money!! If you bring your vehicle and ask how much they would charge you for a repair they will charge you for just telling you the price and they say the did a diagnostic ( without even letting you know there will be a charge ). Then they over charge you by more tha doble for the repairs and tell you that if you do the repair with them they will apply the $100 to the cost of the repairs. This is not an illegal practice but to me is very dishonest and that is a red flag before my eyes, if they are capable of doing that who knows what else they are capable of. To me, the honest way should be to advise the client that there will be a charge before rhey even take a glance at your vehicle. I will never bring any of my vehicles with them again even if they were the only mechanics in the world!!Service: Auto body & trim repair

Everyone at National Auto is very professional and friendly. They took great care of my car for a very reasonable price. Replaced a window and the catalytic converter on my car both without any issues. Overall a great shop.

I m not a car person so I don t know much about what my car needs, but the staff here were very helpful. The girl at the front desk was nice and made sure I was taken care of. I came to National first over a year ago for some quick work in a tight spot and they came through with work that held up, however the shop was messy and lot not paved. AJ told me they had big plans for the shop and to wait and see. Over a year later they are still in business, the shop is cleaned up and the lot is freshly paved. They helped me with finishing and aligning the suspension on my G37 and it rides like a dream. They followed through on their word of improving and have earned my business through that.

Great Customer Service Owner and staff take great care if their customers, My Jeep is back to normal again! Sooo glad I chose them. Price was great and they did everything in a timely manner. My first time there was to service my new RX350 and do my inspections, emissions, and oil change. One of my coworkers recommended me to go there so I did. A gentleman named Mase greeted me and helped me out. He was a very nice guy and I felt safe leaving the car in his hands as he was knowledgeable and trustworthy. I come back to pick up my car and everything was done on time. I was very pleased by their service and will definitely service my vehicle there for years to come. Thumbs up!

I have been coming to National Auto Repair for about 1 year now. I have had nothing but great customer service every time I have came in. I recommend this place to many of friends in the area. I bring my car and my girlfriends car here all the time. The prices here are unbeatable! They take care of you quick. If your in a rush and need your car worked on asap, National auto repair is the place to go to! I'm usually in and out within 10-15 minutes. Awesome job guys! I will continue to come here in the future.

If your in the Manassas Park area and having car trouble, you have to come to the National Auto Repair. Great customer service and very professional. I came in looking for an oil change and they took care of me ASAP. There was a very minimal wait time and a big screen in the waiting area with Netflix. Overall I had a great experience and I will be definitely coming again for any of my car needs. Thank you again National Auto Repair for the great service!!Service: Oil change

I took my car to National auto repair and met a nice young man called AJ. I had gone to two other shops and had received a very high estimate. AJ took his time with checking my car all over. He made sure I only pay for the work which needed and gave me a great price. It s very hard to find a great mechanic shop nowadays. I will go to AJ with all my future problems. Great staff, very welcoming and know their stuff. Came in for an inspection and they took care of it super fast. Treats customers nicely and wants to get to know the customer. If I have any issues with my car in the future I m definitely going to come here

These guys at National Auto are top of the line. They got me in and out from the first visit to the current visits I make. They are a very considerate and understanding shop. Prices from labor to parts are very reasonable considering a lot of the prices in the area are not that great. Mase was one of the first employees to come and really spend time with me and my vehicle to make sure we were back on the road safe and sound. All around good guys here at this shop, Wayne has also been a big help to me over the years. These two guys will take care of you and you're vehicle and make sure you're leaving happy. 5 star ratings all around, great shop,good people and good prices give them a try u won't regret it.

We had a great experience with National Auto Repair. We were looking at a used car in the area. They checked the car out with very little notice. We were seen quickly on a busy Saturday. They were professional, friendly and helpful! They gave us the peace of mind of a third party to move ahead with the purchase of our car!

Everyone was nice and professional.They know to step back and give you space when you need it.These guys are fast, honest and affordable. Mechanics are awesome and I always feel comfortable leaving my cars in their hands. Great service and I highly recommend this place to people. 5 stars & 2 thumbs up!!!

If I could give zero star review, I absolutely would. The owner of this shop is a professional scammer. Please take your hard money elsewhere. He would not admit that the vehicle had transmission and engine issues before he sold it to an elderly woman, and put her sons life in danger.

I remember going here three years ago in a Lincoln town car because I pulled the emergency break out from the rear. Went to this place and the guy was adamant about it being the master cylinder even though I was trying to tell him it wasn t. The price he was charging for labor and parts for the master cylinder was $1300 I paid it and the problem was still there abs light on and traction control on. So I took my car to Mike Fink in Woodbridge and explain to him what I did and what this place did, and he checked my rear tire and found the cable I pulled out and fixed it for free. I advise you don t go here. The guy I explained what I did to my car to was trying to just get a sale and even told me, ive been a mechanic for awhile, It s your master cylinder even after I told him I m sure it wasn t. Just my thoughts. Screw this place

Mase and wayne are 2 great guys there, greeted me outside and took care of my state inspection quickly and efficiently.
