Jonathan was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and prompt. It's the only place that would accommodate me with my tight schedule and willing to stay late and get my vehicle service. Very budget friendly place. Highly recommended!

I ve been coming here for years. This has to be the best management team so far for this location. Keith and Johnathan are amazing. Both are patient, understanding and help you understand exactly what you need with your car. If there are issues with the service, they both listen and try to help you the best way possible. I look forward to keep coming back and having this location service my vehicles.

I was accepted as a walk-in early Saturday morning, Jonathon was doing intake and it got very busy very fast, he was quick professional and very proficient, taking calls dealing with difficult customers, while having a very calm demeanor this man was not easily shaken. The other employees were efficient and professional answering all questions with precision and Patients. Kudos to the staff at this pep boys!!!

I cannot say enough nice things about this staff. I was stranded on Sunday in Virginia after my car got a flat and then subsequently my car battery died. They fit me in to a VERY busy day and quickly got me back on the road. I so wish that I did not live so far away, because this would be my go to car shop. They treated me like I had been a customer there for 20 years. They could have easily over-charged me, but they tried not to charge me at all. That's how nice the staff was. They just wanted to help, and while I waited, I saw them treating every customer the same. They were patient, clearly explained the problem and didn't price gouge. 100% recommend this location

Service was great, I got 4 new tires installed and did an alignment. Was in and out in under 2hrs. The guys at the front desk were very nice. What I did not like was that I purchased my tires online and then was charged separately for a $90 shop fee. That s separate from taxes and tire trash fee just $90 to use their shop and another $10 for their tools fee . What was even more annoying is them not mentioning it at all until the very end when you re leaving.

This location is one of the worst Pepboys location in the entire United States. 7121 Little River Turnpike, Annandale, VaStay AWAY from the front desk staff call Erol . He is very ignorant, confused and lack of customer service awareness. This guy ordered the wrong parts for me twice and didn t even apologize to me. This cost me to stay at the location for over 5hrs on a simple one hour job.The Manager is incompetent, don t know what s going on and can t get the shop organized. STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY

My rear differential needed to be replaced. I have a warranty, and they said they worked with them all the time. They did a FREE inspection of the car and found 100 other things wrong with it. I asked if they would just do the rear differential. They quoted me almost 3.5k after warranty. Come to find out, they up priced the part by almost 2k.Needless to say, i I had to tow the car back to my house.

this Store is extremely unprofessional as I was right in front of one of the managers. I heard them on the phone with what I assume was the owner telling him to get all of his family members and friends to write five star reviews for this place because there was so many one star reviews. This is awful. He said this right in front of a customer on top of that. They also try and over charge you they tried to charge me $1000 and I went to another place go to for 600, siting made up issues as why it was so expensive

Go anywhere else but this place. You re better off watching a YouTube video and doing it yourself. They have no respect for people s time. It s also grimy .UPDATE: I still wouldn t recommend this place to anyone. I had my work van towed to this location because it wouldn t start after I tried jumping the van. A few hours after I got a response from the tow company I called pepboys and the guy said the vehicle will be ready for pick up in the evening. I told him that I will pick it up in the morning then. I called around 0815 the next day to let them know I was on my way to pick up the van. The guy said there is still work needed to be done on the van. I asked if it will be ready by 11 he said yes. I showed up at 11 and it was still being worked on.Also I only had it towed because it didn t start but these people at pepboys not only replaced the battery but they replaced the tires, break pads, and did an alignment. My company paid $2.5k. So not only did they rob me from my time they took advantage of a contract vehicle. As the operator of the vehicle I shouldn t be the last to know. And to top things off. If you look below someone responded to my review but I still have not heard anything back. All they are trying to do is make themselves look better.Guess what! I picked up the van and brought it back to work and my tire pressure sensor is on too. This company is bush-league!

Both Errol and Jonathan have provided professional exceptional service at a reasonable price for my Chevy Truck over the last six months. Recently, I had to bring it in for a few problems and I was impressed by how quickly they repaired it and charged a fair price with first quality the parts. Thank you, Pep Boys Annandale.

My buddy went in for a starter, and left with a tie rod replaced and $600 less in his pockets. Never approved tie rod for replacing, and the starter was never replaced. He s now sitting in a parking lot with his car not starting because his starter is still messed up. Battery s not dead, and used a jump box and another vehicle with jumper cables. Don t recommend these people at all. They re just money hungry scammers who couldn t care less about you as a customer.

I am shocked Pep Boys hired the sales reps at their Annandale location. They are complete scammers and crooks. They quoted one price over the phone, another at the office and still tried to charge $100 for battery installation. They still came up with another fee to charge me that they never disclosed. I will be disputing my credit card charge because of their antics. The fact that they are still in business is beyond comprehension. For a minute I thought I was southside Chicago area. Shame on you!

I cannot say enough good things about this place and the staff. Came in for an oil change and Pepboys not only does it swiftly but they also check out the entire vehicle for FREE. The tech who worked on my car was Christian, who s young but very talented and looks like he takes pride in his work. I also want to deeply thank Jonathan for being so kind and patient with me. He took care of me like I was his family and I really appreciated that. I am now a costumer for life and will definitely be coming back! Thanks a lot pepboys in Annandale!

I am utterly appalled by the service at Pep Boys in Annandale, VA. This wasn't just poor service; it was a complete scam. They took my car under the guise of professionalism, only to betray my trust in the most blatant way. Not only did they grossly overcharge me, but they also had the audacity to replace parts without my permission. The level of incompetence is only outmatched by their sheer greed. I was taken advantage of, left with a bill that makes no sense, and parts I never agreed to. This is a predatory business that preys on its customers. I expected much more from a well-known establishment and am deeply angered by this experience. I urge everyone to stay away and spare themselves the frustration and financial loss I've suffered. Unacceptable and shameful!

The worst excuse of a tire shop came in to replace a tire and wheel and left with battery/engine issues. Manager took my money without letting me know my car wouldnt start then want to act like its normal when I have never needed a jump before. These guys are trash dont take nothing to them. Last time i came here i suspected they messed up my wheel and this was a second chance but hey dont be a fool twice like me and dont even stop by the first time.

Reviewing Annandale branch - Terrible customer service and arrogant front desk.Booked an appointment online for tire installation and lifetime alignment; arrived 30mins earlier than my appointment but the front desk person said they won t work on my car that day (Sunday) because he doesn t have full staff; I told him I have an appointment and there are multiple free slots for appointments online; He said because I bought the tires somewhere else and not from them, he won t do it on weekends regardless of appointment or not! I asked if I buy tires from you now, would you do it? He said yes So it isn t staffing that is short it s who pays more .Mind you the installation was about 120 + 199 for lifetime alignment for an hour or less job!The rude guy didn t even greet us when walking in Good for Pep Boys having terrible customer service and arrogant folks like the one we had to talk to that day!It is all about experiences; if we get a bad one somewhere, it will be foolish to go back in again or recommend that business to others

Got alignment life time. Staff is exceptionally good and helpful. I was there twice and both times the times I find the front desk staff very courteous and helpful. One person is working there for very long time about 20 years, he helped me and very soft-spoken and helpful.

I was impressed by the service I had received at this Location.(Annandale)The Mechanic servicing my car and the front personWere very nice and professionals.I saw a big improvement in customer service specially from this branch if they continue working there,I definally will continue choosing this branch for car service.I had to recognize that almost lost confidence and appreciation for Pep boysI hope they will be more honest and friendly people at front like these two guys.I did not get their names, but the mechanic is an older Hispanic male and the front person a short African american ,ask always for themNo B S when pricing and very knowledgeable and helpful. The only downsize still the waiting time. For those two individuals my appreciation and Thanks!

If I could I d give 0 stars. Tired to charge me over 2k and said I needed a ton of work, I went to another mechanic and all I needed to get fixed was my brakes. Horrible customer service except for Jonathan, he was actually helpful and kind.

No good.I made a reservation online this past Monday to change my brake pads. I got to the store on time, and waited probably 15 minutes to speak with the manager. The manager took me outside to inspect the car, which led to the first instance of discomfort for me.The manager insisted that I needed to change sensors as well as my rotors; both of which would be extra. He said this very authoritatively, basically insinuating none of this was optional. I informed him that there was nothing wrong with the rotors (I had the vehicle inspected, which in fact was the reason why I knew that I only needed new brake pads) and, as far as I knew, there are no sensors on the brakes (I found later that this was in fact true). So both of these items that I had to do, I did not need. One was misleading, the other was an outright lie. He huffed and puffed and told me that he would note it on the report that I refused these options and that any complaints after the fact would not be honored. Fine.So we went inside, I got my quote (~$600 for both front and rear) and a time estimate (3-4 hours), and went on my way. Service rep calls me about three hours in to tell me that, because they have to work with electronic calipers on the rear, there would be an additional labor charge to the tune of $300. Okay.. I suspect the majority of late model cars have electronic brake calipers, and the make / model of the car was obvious prior to getting the quote. Classic bait and switch.. put my car on the rack, have me commit to three hours, then hit me for a 50% price increase. Whatever, I felt disgusted but fine.4 hours in, we're now the tail end of my promised window. My tires are still not back on. No one's working on it. They can't get the back brakes off. I said if they can't get the back brakes off within 30 mins, I'm rolling out with just the front. 45 minutes, I get the text to return. My car is ready. Manager tells me that they indeed were unsuccessful with the back. The front was changed, and that'll be... $550. I. lost. it. Not even half the work, and I was being asked to pay 90% of the quote. He looked at me matter of factly, the materials for the rear pads (~only $70) came off, but everything else, including labor for the rear, stayed on... I calmly explained that I was not going to pay for "labor" resulted in nothing. He grumbled and fumbled on the keyboard for a few minutes, probably hoping to wait me out so I would give in and just pay. Finally, the manager next to him said to him that the labor should be taken off as well. Well, now Manager #1 has an epiphany, makes some excuse about having to immediately run off, and leaves me to deal with good cop manager #2, who reduces the bill to $270.. Seemed like a standard routine for customers who stand their ground. The entirety of the experience left a really bad taste in my mouth. How would someone else, less informed about cars perhaps more adverse to confrontation, handled this? The second time I walked in, the customer in front of me, an older gentleman and clearly a recent immigrant, was also asked to pay a much higher amount than what he was quoted. I don't know whether that was resolved, but in hindsight, he probably got the same treatment I did.

My experience wasn t great at all. The only reason why I decided to purchase was due to their current sales promotion. The waiting area was filthy to say the least. I originally was scheduled for a 9:30 AM Appointment in Alexandria. Unfortunately they were unable to fulfill my appointment due to one service tech. The next available location was Annandale . I called to schedule an appointment . No One Ever Answered The Phone . I contacted the location multiple times Still no answer . Then I drove 27 minutes to the location to schedule an appointment. Luckily my tires were in stock and the availability for appointment. Arriving a day later at 9:58 Am for my appointment at 10:00 AM. I was notified that the service would take 2 Hours Max. Arriving back at 11:35 turned in after 1 PM. The staff decided to take a collective break while leaving my car untouched. I asked why? The representative gave me a bogus excuse instead of acknowledging the lack of communication, speed and transparency in the matter. Not to mention several of the staff member didn t wear face masks inside the building or while servicing cars! I was really hopeful for a better experience. Maybe better luck next time .

Let me start by saying that I love PepBoys as a company, this is a review for only this store. I had two appointments for my cars today, and was greeted by Chaz and CJ, the rudest and most impolite service people I ve encountered. It started with the drive into the dark and sketchy pep boys, where none of the external lights or signs are working. I walked in and explained that I have a lifetime alignment contract for my Tesla, and also wanted to get the winter rims and tires swapped. They gave me the sorriest story about how this is a liability to the company and started making up excuses for not taking in my car. He just started rambling and I point blank asked him, are you taking the cars or not, and he simply said, oh hell absolutely no .Avoid this service center like the plague, the terrible customer service at the front can only be indicative of whatever sketchy practices could be endorsed inside the shop. Go somewhere where the lights work.

5 hours to change a battery. Service rep was rude and unprofessional. Would not let me know when my car would be done. Got a call and text saying my car was ready and when I came back to the store the same rep told me that my car wasn't ready. Said he has to wait for the paperwork. What was the point of calling and senting a text when essentially the work wasn't done. Left grease and dirt all over my driver seat.
