I wish I could give them zero stars. I went to this location to replace my windshield. Replacing the windshield part was fine, but they could not recalibrate the safety system.The technician had no clue what was wrong, but he was making different excuses why he couldn't fix the problem. He asked me to go to the Toyota dealers to fix it. No apologies or effort to help me out. I called the manager about a week later, and he was basically telling me the same thing. He asked me to come back for the service, but why would I go back to a place with no professionalism? Don't waste your time if you need a recalibration on your car!

It was very difficult to get an actual person on the phone. The online system was okay and I was able to set up an appointment however when I had questions I didn't have any way to ask them. I had to call over 6 times to get an actual person on the phoneShe was very good and did help me set up an appointment that was sooner than my online appointment. Ultimately I did not end up using them because I found a place that was a $160 cheaper for the repair for a driver's side window. Note: The advertising on TV (with the very catchy jingle )doesn't tell you that it costs an extra $50 for them to come to your home. js

They are doing a fantastic job. I went there to replace my windshield and insurance sent the parts. Nelson promptly took care and got the correct parts and Tyrone assembled it and took great care. This autoglass does a great job and makes sure that you have a great experience.

These guys got me in and out in under 3 hours on a busy Saturday and without an appointed. They were all friendly and professional and the windshield looks great. The waiting area could use some USB ports. Other than that it was a great experience

It was really easy to make an appointment and get a good time. They service was great all in all im very happy to have my windshield fixed. I will say it was extremely hard to get in touch with someone because the shops number isnt listed anywhere. The only thing listed is the customer care number and automated phone call wouldn't connect me to a live person. That was extremely annoying.

Insanely quick turnaround (less than two hours for a windshield replacement), solid work, and wonderful staff! We hope to not have to come back anytime soon, but if we do, we know our vehicles will be in good hands!

DO NOT USE SAFELITE!!!!1. A master technician was needed because evidently the windshield is difficult to install and requires calibration. I came in for the appointment and they installed a new windshield. I immediately noticed that the driver's side of the windshield had messy goop along the side of the windshield and what appears to be holes in the seal. The technician told me that this happened because they used too much glue and when they pushed down the excess glue seeped out along the edges. They told me I would have to give it time to dry because it would only get messier if they tried to address it while wet, so I got a second appointment.2. Second Appointment. Whatever they did looks like nothing changed so now they say it can only be resolved with a new windshield so they can seat it properly. That's fine, but they want me to pay the deductible and this will be a warranty repair. Why would I (or my insurance company) pay a dime for mediocre work.

I had a horrible experience at the Arlington Safelite location, including repeated last-minute cancellations, inaccurate time estimates, and delivering the car to the wrong address. I finally got my windshield replaced, but then it turns out no one at that location had the competence to perform the necessary calibration.I wish I had started with Alexandria. I took the car there to finish the job. They understood my frustration and promised to take care of me. In less than an hour, they inspected the windshield installation to make sure it was actually done correctly, and performed the recalibration. Alan and Nelson were awesome to work with. Super friendly and professional, and did an outstanding job. After my previous bad experience with Safelite, I was thrilled with this location and the people who work there. Five stars are not enough.

First of all, Safelite is insanely expensive, $800 something without insurance, $500 with insurance (for my particular vehicle). Can't actually speak on the service. Oh wait, yes I can. Years ago, someone tried to break into my Jeep Cherokee and they broke the smaller portion of the back passenger window. Safelite came to my house to replace it (I myself was not there at the time, but someone was home). Now, if anyone knows about SUV windows, you know that most, if not all come with tinted rear passenger windows. When I got home, as soon I approached the driveway, I could tell that the glass they replaced my broken glass with was not the correct glass because it wasn't tinted and didn't even match the bigger portion of the window. They did come back and replace it, but for a professional company, the technician should have realized that it was not the correct glass before installing it.Secondly, I'm currently in the process of finding another service center (different company) to replace my cracked windshield (especially after reading some of the comments), not just because of the cost, but also because I can't even get anyone on the phone to ask a question. It's just a recording and a bunch of prompts that lead you nowhere. It tells you to go to the website to schedule an appointment. Then, it hangs up on you. I HAVE A QUESTION BEDORE SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT! Like someone said in the comments, this is a red flag. This would definitely be an issue if there was a problem after installation of a new windshield. Not having a line that your customers could call and talk to an actual person if they have questions or concerns is very poor customer service. It gives the message that Safelite doesn't even want to deal with their customers.I really hope I can find another company so I don't have to pay Safelite's super high cost and potentially deal with the mishaps I've been reading about and have experienced myself. I think I've found another company that is $120 cheaper than it is with insurance and $400 something cheaper without insurance. And they recalibrate any safety features that need to be recalibrated.SAFELITE YOUR PRICES ARE WAY TOO HIGH!!! AND I DON'T LIKE THAT I CAN'T TALK TO A LIVE PERSON ON THE PHONE!

What an awesome manager. With UAW strikes going on it would take longer for the store to receive parts. The manager went above and beyond to help me through this hurdle. He understood my frustrations and dealt with my issue respectfully and abruptly. For something he had zero control over he handled it perfectly. Your in good hands at this location.

After receiving really poor service from a different location - I came to the Alexandria location and the store manager, Nelson, was super kind and reassuring that he and his techs would take care of me. My car is practically brand new and pretty high tech so I was really nervous. The tech who took care of my window replacement, Alan, did an AMAZING job and my car looks just as new as when I purchased it a couple months ago. I would highly recommend this location over other nearby locations.

I recently had my Camaro's window replaced at Safelite, and I couldn't be happier with the service. Store manager Nelson's outstanding and welcoming approach from the moment I parked set the tone for a positive experience. Juan was equally welcoming, exceptionally knowledgeable, and ensured that every aspect of my Camaro's needs was addressed properly. Their attention to detail and customer satisfaction was evident throughout. I highly recommend this Safelite store for their excellent service.

I give 5 star to Anthony he explain me everything and he apologized.The front desk lady too 5 start . The other technician the make me wait 2 hrs just to tell me they can t do it because of the LED light. Then I wait 40 so another technician go to my truck and explain me why the couldn t do it . If you want to do a glass change ask for Antony

ABOVE AND BEYOND. Another repair shop removed screws needed to hold the glass in place and they still found a way to get our window fixed in less than 20 minutes. Extremely professional and dedicated to helping us get our window fixed the day of our appointment. They understood our frustration and did everything in their power to help us!

Nelson and the guys at Safelite Alexandria are consummate professionals. Had to have my windshield replaced. Drop off was a breeze and they had the windshield replaced within 30 minutes! Five star service. These guys are the best.

Showed up for an appointment. Said I didnt have one even though I have an email then the glass was not available after waiting 2 months and the person at the counter could only send an email and I still dont know when this will be fixed. Then to add insult to injury they made wait to for them to wrap my window.

I had my SUV windshield replaced at the Safelite on S Quaker Ln. I was greeted immediately, treated respectfully and professionally. I opted for an all-day drop off (have vehicle dropped off no later than 9:30 am) and upon arrival I was quoted approximately 2 1/2 hours. I received text updates as the job was being completed. Like clockwork, I received a call that my car was ready for pickup at exactly the 2 1/2 hour mark. Pickup was fast and easy, the technician went over the warranties with me and I was able to go about the rest of my day. If I ever need auto glass work again, I will definitely go to this location.

I had a great experience getting my windshield replaced at this location. The store manager, Nelson was extremely nice and professional, and the technician Manny did a great job. They were able to prioritize my vehicle and it took only about an hour from start to finish. Would definitely recommend.

I had a small crack in my windshield repaired by Safelite 10 S Quaker Ln Alexandria VA. I arrived 30 minutes prior to my appointment time. I was greeted immediately by the manager Nelson, and Nelson quickly assessed the damage and assigned my car to technician Manny to make the repair. The work was completed within 30 minutes, with very good results. Overall an excellent experience.

I was impressed by the speed and quality of the service at this Safelite location. Kiki at the desk was helpful and informative. Fuentes, the technician, completed the windshield replacement and recalibrated my Subaru s Eyesight system in far less time than I expected. It took roughly 2-1/2 hours. The car looks as good as new now! I will advise future customers that the waiting area is tiny and not a good place to work if you re considering waiting. I chose to drop off my car and return later.

AWESOME service at the Safelite on 10 S. Quaker in Alexandria, VA! I was scheduled to have the windshield replaced yesterday (9/1/2023) and so I dropped off my car the night before and put the key in their dropbox. I had noted that their office opens at 8am. Then yesterday morning at about 8am, I got a call from Alan (not sure of spelling), who told me my car was ready to be picked up. I had been asleep and was confused because it looked like my phone listed the time as 8, but if they just opened, how could the work be finished??? I asked how long it took to replace a windshield. He said normally 1-1.5 hrs. I then said, but didn't y'all just open? He then replied that he had come into work early and since my car was already in the parking lot, just went ahead and got the work done. Wow! An employee that shows up EARLY and gets right to work!!! That doesn't happen too much these days and I was so happy to be able to pick up my car yesterday morning and not be without my car for the day. Pick up was a quick and great experience too. The manager (I can't recall his name) was very friendly and immediately gave me my key back and let me know to wait at least 72 hrs before going into a high-pressure car wash. He also recommended that after about 2 weeks to go into a high pressure car wash because that would let me know if there were any issues with getting a good seal on the new windshield - none were expected, but if there were any issues to immediately let them know. I will also relay that I had purchased the Lexus windshield coverage a year earlier with my new car (a rock from a truck hit it and left a good sized chip, which then began to crack on two sides of the chip) and this place was recommended by the 3d party Lexus uses for this coverage. Alan and the store manager are definitely great assets for Safelite! I HIGHLY recommend this shop!

I experienced terrible service at the Arlington location. I went back to the Arlington location to try to get the job done. I met Nelson, manager of Alexandria covering for the fired Arlington manage. He wanted to make things right and immediately scheduled my repair at his location. Alan, at Alexandria completed the repair with an hour. Alan explains the warranty when he walked me to my car. Awesome job guys. Safelite. Please value these guys. They saved your reputation. Thank you

Went in to Safelite today to have windshield moldings replaced and a small chip repaired. 10/10, two thumbs up, 5 stars etc. for the team at the Alexandria location. Nelson lead the charge as the store manager and Allen and Manny were the technicians diligently working on my vehicle. I walked to CVS for a dog toy and by the time I was back my car was ready and I was on my way. Will absolutely return and highly recommend.Big thanks to the entire staff!

Scheduled an appointment 2 weeks ahead. The weekend before a Monday appointment, they left a message that they had to reschedule for the following Tuesday. I rescheduled my time off from work, and when I checked in, they told me that they couldn't do the work because they didn't have the windshield in the shop.Complete waste of time and lack of consideration for customers.

Worst experience I've ever had with any company. First appointment was 7/28. 6 hours into the appointment, I get a call that the windshield has been replaced but the calibration "didn't go through", so they have to order new, more expensive glass that they expected me to pay for while asking me to drive the car - now with none of the safety features connected to the car's camera system. Regional manager literally laughed at me when I told him I didn't feel comfortable doing that. Also told me he would call me back in three days. I called him three times the next week - no answer. Second appointment - same story - calibration not working, after having me sit in the shop for 5 hours for something that should take 2. At this point, almost two weeks later, and I still have no idea when my car will be restored to the condition it was in when I first took it to satellite. And oh yea, if you bring up any complaints that are race-related, they are trained not to engage. What a model of corporate responsibility! I couldn't recommend you go anywhere else on the planet but Satellite for your auto glass needs. ANYWHERE ELSE ON EARTH!

I had a windshield star about the size of a nickle that was hit or miss on whether it could be repaired or if the whole windshield needed to be replaced. Working through my insurance I ended up going to this Safelite, and I couldn't have been happier with the service and the end result.The appointment was easy to schedule with my insurance (1 week out from filing the claim). When I arrived, I was greeted by the manager, Nelson, who was very honest with me and managed my expectations when he looked at the windshield to assess if they could repair it. He said that they could do the best they could to repair the star, but that he thought it'd still be a 50/50 shot if it would spider out in the colder temperatures meaning the windshield would need replacing. I told him to go ahead with the repair, and worst case scenario, I'd just come back if it spidered out for a full windshield repair.I told them no rush on the time to repair, so after 40 minutes they let me know it was ready for pick-up. I was surprised to see how well the technician, Manny, had filled the star. It was still there (since there was no way to get rid of it) but barely noticeable from the outside. Nelson met me again to go over the repairs with me, and said I was good to go.Overall, couldn't have asked for better service, and if my windshield spiders or if it gets damaged again (inevitably), I'll be coming back to this location.

Had an appointment and I Was taken in right on time. Had the repair explained. The work was done and since it was a chip repair it was done in a short time. They have to wait for the glass to cool before repair. The staff was very professional and friendly.
