Need to get propane for a holiday party. Searched online and nothing was showing up close to my home. I came across the Royal Service Center, totally saved me! They have everything. If you re in need of minor repairs or light refreshments they got you from Cokes and cookies to washer fluid and brake fluid. The staff is professional, helpful and very nice. Horrific! They replaced my radiator for $1200 a few months ago. The next day it overheated and had to be towed back to shop. Seems they did not properly install a hose. Now, the car radiator is bad again and the part seems to be faulty. They will honor warranty of part but want $600 for labor. I got an estimate at another mechanic today. $93 for labor, $300 for entire replacement there. This shop will not refund part cost or anything else. Do not.recommend!

Have been coming here for years to get my car inspected with no issues. For my most recent inspection I called ahead to see what their hours were on Saturdays. They said the inspection station was open from 9am to 1:30. Showed up at 12:10 and he was no longer taking customers. Why provide hours of operation if you don't follow them?

Helped repair a loose shield that started to drag along the highway following a poor oil change done by Hart Nissan. I pulled up as a walk in and the work was done within an hour and really reasonable rates.

Hameed The Mechanic threatened to call a state trooper to tell me my car was too low because he couldn t get his lift underneath to raise it. Then he started yelling all kinds of incoherent nonsense when I called his bluff. Had to go elsewhere. At least there was no line to get inspected/yelled at.

Have been coming here for years with no issues. They changed ownership recently. The new guy stops working at 11 am for his lunch break, doesn t come back until 1 pm, and stops taking people at 2:30 pm even though they close at 4. Tried 4 times to get inspected here. Will be finding a new place for inspections.

I've been going to these guys for years. To do off warranty work. They service my escalade and my porsche. I have never had anything but good things to say about these guys and their work. They do the work at a very high level of quality for a fraction of what the dealers charge. Jim and his team are amazing. And I will continue to have them service all of my vehicles for as long as they exist.

Jim and his techs at Fairlington Service Center brought my 2006 Ford Explorer V8 back to life, after 170k original miles, and had the expertise to do so while keeping costs to a minimum. With gas prices and used car prices having sailed over the last 3 years, I would recommend bringing your older vehicle to Jim and his people. Extend the life of your car until prices make sense again. These folks can help, no complications. 8 spark plugs replaced, 0 plugs broken in the cylinder. I have had my car serviced here several times. Initially I was impressed when they did tires and an oil change - they were quick, friendly and charged a competitive rate. More recently, I had a check engine light come on for a crank position sensor and the car shut down intermittently while driving. They replaced the sensor without any further diagnostics and it did not repair the problem. When I brought the car back in, they scanned for codes but did not even want to put the car back on the lift to examine the sensor.I think these guys are fine for basic car maintenance - oil changes, etc - but I do not have faith in their ability to diagnose and repair anything more complex. It also doesn't sit well with me that they were uninterested in standing by their work/parts.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

Had my annual inspection done here - they were really quick and efficient with the process. Price was 20$ which I believe is pretty standard.The nicer part of the inspection was the advice I was given. I had initially failed my inspection due to brake and tire issues. The mechanic told me the price range I should look for when searching for a repair shop and what questions to ask. He said Royal was a bit expensive for repairs, hence why I should try elsewhere.I was truly impressed by the sheer honesty and solid advice I was given. Sure enough, it fell into my favor and I found affordable repair shops and received my inspection pass a week later. For those who are not aware, if you return to your safety inspector within 15 days of a failed inspection, re-inspection is 1$.

Let me start by saying I'm a diy car guy. I do most work myself, but I needed an alignment after installing new shocks/springs so I had to take it to a shop. They use all the latest laser tech to dial it in. They were honest, friendly, and fast! I didn't have an appointment and they finished my car in just over an hour. Highly recommended over the big name shops!

Prompt, quick emissions and safety inspections every single time. The mechanic even stopped mid inspection to tell me that my wife had already done the inspection and didn t charge me anything for him having hooked up the equipment.We ll definitely be doing our inspections here moving forward.

I've been here for emissions inspection and they were quick - no complaints. Today I went in to get my tire patch, but not before calling my dad for advice first, like any independent woman would do. He said "make sure they don't try to overcharge you to dismount the wheel and re-align, etc." He told me approximately what it should cost and how long it should take.These guys are professional and friendly, they told me it would take no more than 20 minutes. They did the quick patch, charged me $27 and sent me on my way. It feels good knowing there's a place I can go to without having to worry that they're going to try to overcharge me for things I don't really need.They also have a clean waiting room for customers, or you can walk over to Starbucks while you wait. Highly recommend!

I got a safety inspection and exhaust test. My car is a 2007 Jetta so I was a bit worried they might try to nickel/dime me for some repair, even though the car is fully functional. Quick and easy, no issues, no wait. I'll be back in 12 months.

Took my car into 1313 repair shop. Spoke to manager Jim Swink. Told them I had a low pressure tire. Was billed for service, but nothing was done. They tried fixing the wrong tire. I was asked to pay double if I wanted my tire fixed. Dont bring your car here, if they cant fix a simple tire. My tire still has a big giant clear as day nail in it.

Knowledgable and helpful staff! I always go here for my state inspection. And one of the guys in the garage saved me from a possible blow out of my tire. I asked if he could add air and whe he looked at it there was a bump protruding from the side wall that was starting to split the tire. I will be forever grateful to him!

I went to this place to get my car fixed. They charge me $1500 to work on brake system which normally costs $200 in other place and the problem was on front side. They fix the fromt side and lock the backside caliper that fails after 3 days which was normally has no problem. Just to create another job for themself. That's so stupid.I will never ever go to this place. Please stay there while u repair ur car and before deciding ask another shop about the cost. In my case it was $1500 vs $200 plus my time.

Did an inspection here a year ago and that went well. I think they aren t doing them presently. I stopped for gas on this day because their gas is routinely 10-20 cents per gallon cheaper than stations nearby.

Reasonably priced, quick work, honest. They replaced two flat tires and bent wheels (hit a curb!). Jim was especially helpful and respectful when explaining what they did and when contacting us. Will get more work done here when needed.

I found this car place to be true to their word. Worked hard to get my daughters loan who is a college student with 2 jobs and minium income. I had to go on the loan with her they made it happen when 4 others dealers said no. they were nice I got a car my daughter loves and is great price, affordable she loves her 2014 Mitsubushi Mirage thanks Royal Car Center I would recommended this place to anyone don't let the size foul you small place but has great cars, nice businessmen,

Neighborhood service station offering light maintenance, State safety and emissions inspections. Fuel prices are not the best, but they're conveniently located with easy in and out.

Not sure where these positive reviews came from but this place is a complete ripoff. They send you coupons in the mail, but then don't allow you to use them and their process without the coupons are ridiculous. I will never return here, which is sad because I can literally walk to this place.***Edit:And now my car is making noises that it wasn't making before I brought it here.

I feel like I've finally found a mechanic I can trust. I never feel pressured to approve any kind of service and they always complete the service on time or early. Overall, they are honest and hardworking people. I will always come back here.

The staff and service provided is excellent. I always turn to the Royal Service Center for all of my family's vehicle needs. Any service required or recommended is explained in detail and priced fair. Highly recommend this service station!

Really rude and bad service. Asked them to put a used tire I brought myself on for me and they refused and stated if I buy my own tire then I need to fix it my self .

Went in for a simple oil change and 2 days later my car is not working. Took it back and they refused to look at it with out me waiting and charging me. Will never go back again!

Capable service and fair pricing. The mechanic and the safety inspector both treated me fairly and honesty. That means I'll be a repeat customer.
