I m not from the area, I broke down on the highway on the way to a conference in Crystal City, so I was nervous about finding a reliable shop. I couldn t have been more satisfied with or more thankful for the efficient and professional service at Greg s. Everyone was clear with communication, and they kept me apprised of the problems they found with my car and the costs I could expect. I was so relieved they were able to fix my car by the end of the conference so I could head home. I definitely recommend Greg s Automative Services!!

had a complicated issue regarding the battery dying that caused the theft deterrent system to be triggered in my vehicle, they were very helpful and genuine. they thoroughly explained the process despite it being complex and were able to fix it completely! they are reasonably priced and very helpful, would recommend and will be coming back :)

I came in and they were immediately able to fix my light that went out on the passenger side. And at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend this automotive service location.

It is said that an honest mechanic is hard to find. Not so if you live near Greg's Automotive Service. Greg and his team offer phenomenal service. They always give you a quote before charging and are incredibly transparent in everything they do. I do not know a lot about cars so it was important for me to find a mechanic that would help me understand what was going on with the car and not take advantage of me. They often go above and beyond in their service. Last time, I took my car in because it did not pass inspection. They fixed everything and to my surprise, they took it in to get it past inspection for me without any extra charge. That's just the kind of guy Greg is. Also, at the end of 2021, I got a call from the team asking me to come by when I could. I thought something was wrong with the car, but it turns out they just wanted to give me a free bottle of wine to thank me for giving them their business! If I could give them six or seven stars I would. Please don't pay attention to any negative reviews. Greg s was great! Easy to get fit into the shop schedule, reasonably priced, and very transparent about the issues. I came in for a diagnostic check and they actually sent me a video of the issue, then called me to talk about pricing to make the repair. I selected them because they were close to my home, and I will be returning for their service.

Dino was a champ. He let me know up front what the repair timeline would be for new brake pads, warped rotors, and seized caliper pins on top of replacing the engine thermostat and a few other things. This shop did outstanding work and fixed some major problems that another local shop had created. Two thumbs up to the guys at this shop. While nobody looks forward to having to take their car in for work, these gents made it as painless as possible.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto brake repair

When I went to Greg s automotive the best part was the excellent customer service and how they were straight forward with me on issues involving my vehicle and are honest about such problems. Every time i have brought my vehicle here for repairs it has been an excellent experience. At least better than most mechanics I ve gone too.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Greg and Leo, the service manager, are friendly, trustworthy, and will get your work done quickly. I've been bringing my vehicles to them since 2009 and could not be happier with their work and their prices. They are the best and really care about their customers. I had some work done around Christmas time a few years back and Greg even gave me a bottle of wine when I picked up my car. I can't recommend giving them a call strongly enough, even if you already have an estimate in hand from another service shop. Give them a try, you won't regret it!

I had the pleasure of finding Greg's shop when I discovered my BMW had a coolant leak. After researching and gathering several estimates I went with this shop. Service from a operational standpoint as well as Customer service were too notch. My car was repaired in 24hrs, they added a few extra features "just to make me happy", seriously a quote and I feel confident in their work. I'm very thankful to have found Greg's and would recommend them to anyone.

I trust these folks. Yelp reviews seem to imply that one should talk to the head guys at Greg's. This could be true, as that's what I have done the three times I've been there. They have been unfailingly polite each time. Parts seemed a bit costly, but when I checked online, they had provided best price for decent quality. Last time, I was in for exhaust & catalytic converter. But, when I get in car, the radio starts up. It had shorted out 10 years ago (I have 2001 Camry) and I had to remove the fuse. Not only had they fixed it for free, they hadn't even bothered to mention anything. Heck yes, I recommend them!

Greg, and Leo, are great. I have taken two different vehicles of mine for various repairs over the years and have never been disappointed. I have never been taken advantage of, as some other reviewers hint at, and I ve always been able to have an honest discussion on what services need to be done. I would recommend this as a solid neighborhood mechanic shop for most needs.

Excellent service, Honest and friendly people and best of all, prices are reasonable and work is done professionally. I came in the 1st time right before closing time and i had a blown fuse. Greg took the time to inspect the fuses and replaced the bad one. Second visit was for a bulb replacement. Perfect again !I will be recommending Greg's to my family and friends for sure.

I brought my car in because the airbag light was on. When I dropped it off, the man behind the counter asked me if I had called the dealership about possible recalls. I told him I had not. He said that HE WOULD CALL THEM FOR ME. Maybe it was my own fault for trusting that they would do what they said they would do. However, they did not contact the dealership as they said. Later that week I found out there was in fact a recall for my airbag. Greg's Automotive charged me $650 for work that would have been free at the dealership. Either they are INCOMPETENT or DISHONEST, but which one of these qualities do you want in a mechanic? There are better options nearby. Avoid this shop.

I had two lights out in my Jeep Wrangler. It turned out to be just a light bulb and a fuse. They charged $130 to fix -- even charged me about $3 hazardous waste discard fee. It was my first and last time there. I won't go back.

Didn t know much about this shop but I was in desperate need to get a quick inspection due to some noise coming from the suspension. Not only did they put my car on the lift but they educated me on the problem, a solution, and very hospitable service. Would highly recommend stopping by.
