Come here annually for my VA state inspections. Usually work with Alex who is very friendly and gets me in and out very quickly, so long as there s not a line of cars waiting. Seeing a lot of negative reviews on here is surprising based on my multiple experiences at this location. I should note that I ve never needed any corrective actions taken on my vehicles so it s always been $20 and I m out. Im posting a photo of the inspection pricing and times for reference.

Price gouging. I filled exactly one gallon and the pump read $5.00. They ve been reported to the Department of Weights and Measures. This is consistent with their automobile service charges. Avoid this place.

Gas is $.70 more than Sunoco on George Washingto Pkwy...price gouging!Plus I gave thee place oonee star and 44 stars were posted.WF?!

This is the worst place to get an any work done they are racist and just want to take your money Alex the guy who worked on my car for emissions just wants your 30 dollars and not to do his job. Went in for emissions and my check light was on told me I had to get it fixed came back the next day fixed and he said I would have to wait two weeks before I could get my car checked. Even if this is up to code Alex has a problem talking to people and should not be interacting with customers. He s is disrespectful and demeaning. You re only a price tag don t expect to get anything done if they let you give zero stars I would do not go here for gas or any work. Gas is over the state minimum anyway they re just money hungry.

Dishonest and impolite. I had a car door lock that was broken. I called and asked if they did that type of work. They said yes. I dropped the vehicle off. They said it would be 2 hours to diagnose. They called 8 hours later and quoted me $658. I declined service. I showed up 10 minutes later and the vehicle was not there. They had sent the vehicle to another shop without my authorization. And they had clearly lied about their services. When the vehicle arrived it was obvious the door had not been taken apart and the paperwork said, suspected lock actuator . Three very hostile and rude employees plus one silent lurker surrounded me in the cashier area and would not produce my key until I paid $130 for supposed labor that was neither done nor authorized. I attempted to de-escalate but this was met with increased hostility on their part. There s nothing posted regarding diagnostic fees nor did I sign anything authorizing any expenditures. I quietly informed the manager that I would likely inform the Better Business Bureau and he said, Yeah go ahead. What are you gonna do about it? Basically just terrible attitudes and unethical business all around. If I could give them zero stars I would.

Stay away from this place. Read the reviews- I ve lived down the the road for three years and this place has never had a good reputation. Its management is shady and it charges about .50 cents more per gallon for gas than the area s average. We are all hoping this place goes out of business.

Brought my car here to be inspected. Alex and Maribel were so friendly and helpful. Replaced windshield wiper and cleaned headlights all for only $75 including cost of inspection. Wiper has a lifetime warranty. Will return again. Thank you!

I take my car here for annual inspections. Doug is always courteous and greets me with a smile. He also has a great sense of humor. The other inspectors are friendly, and the lady who handles the payments is a sweetheart. Everybody here makes me feel at ease, so I'll keep coming back. :-)

I have had two exceptional experiences here. The staff in garage are friendly, honest and professional. They are happy to fit you in if there is space and are will even refer you to another mechanic if needed to save money on parts or tires. They were very kind and offered me a water while I was waiting on a hot day for them to finish.

I went here for a vehicle inspection, but the inspector turned me away and REFUSED TO HELP ME when I asked him to wear a mask for the brief time he was inside my car. Unbelievable. That says alot about how much they value customer safety. If they prioritize their comfort so highly over doing what's right for the customer, I can't imagine what else they cut corners on. Seriously, DON'T bring your vehicle here for any service whatsoever.

Got a safety inspection from this service center. Everything passed with no issues or warnings of things to come. 2 weeks later rear brake line rusted out. Took to another shop for repairs. Rear brake shoes completely worn to Virginia minimum standards. Front brake pads worn completely and cutting into rotors.... If you need an inspection sticker quick, this is the place to go. "Everything is fine." If you value your safety and life of your car go somewhere reputable.

A true gem of a service station. Fast, friendly, and expert work. Good prices on maintenance and repairs. These folks will take great care of your car.Ignore the bad reviews about gas prices. Price for gas is high, true. But station owners don t set gas prices, Exxon does. The station only makes a few pennies off each gallon.

There are two distinct aspects to this service station... The service garage is reasonable, friendly and I'd actually recommend taking your car there for an inspection.I wouldn't recommend filling your gas tank there unless you won the lottery and are writing a blog about the silliest places to waste money. Their prices are laughably unrealistic.

I wanted to give a shout out to Alfredo for amazing customer service! I was in the area last week when it was raining very hard. I was in dire need of air in my tires. This gentleman offered to help me put air in all four of my tires on my car. I was going to try and feed coins into their air machines while attempting to hold an umbrella somehow over my own head.! He stepped up and told me to bring my car to the garage area where he proceeded to fill my tires with air. I was so impressed by his professionalism and willingness to provide excellent service. He even smiled. Thank you Alfredo, and I hope that your boss there at Exxon rewards you for your outstanding and attentive customer service. I will definitely return to the station whenever I am in the area.

Consistently about 30 cents more than any other station in the area, even gas stations less than a half mile away. As of today, 2/3/16, they are charging $2.09 per gallon of regular. 7-10 other stations within a 5 mile radius are charging $1.75-$1.80. This has been the norm for them since I moved here in March of 2014. I avoid this station at all costs. They are absolute price gougers.

Gas pump jumped to 6 cents before I ever touched the nozzle. If this happens to every car and people don't notice, that's a lot of illegal money over time. When I told the attendant, she kind of poo pooed me as if why bother about 6 cents. To her I say, it is not about 6 cents but about cheating customers who may not pay attention. Is it intentional? I don't know, but I don't intend to find out as I will avoid this place. Also, their gas prices are way out of line...about 30 cents a gallon more than other stations.

As someone on the road for a living getting a huge van full of gas.. I remember the places that don't have a functioning rest room, and the chances of me returning drop to zero.. invest in the store and fix the bathroom or you will continue to lose business

The maintenance staff at this business are great. Mirabelle, the head mechanic, is always upfront about pricing and very fair when a problem needs to be fixed; I strongly suggest talking with her. I have been using them for repairs and emissions and inspections on 4 vehicles for 10 plus years and I have always been very happy with their prices and their work. They have saved me a lot of money over the years!

Took a car in for an inspection recently. They insisted that I NEEDED headlights cleaned. They LIED since moisture in the headlights is NOT a reason to fail your inspection. NOT ONLY DID THEY LIE, THEY MADE THE HEADLIGHTS WORSE. They put something on the lights that created a film that has ruined the headlights and I now have to get them replaced. If you're a woman that doesn't know a ton about cars DO NOT COME HERE. THEY WILL SCAM YOU AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. If you try to call them out on it they will yell at you and dismiss you until you leave. Absolutely awful.

Everyone avoid this gas station.Gas ih is $0.50 to $0.70 more expensive than any other gus station in the area.Plus they never have Regular gas.You will have to use mid grade and pay $3.30 per gallon. That is too much!!

This is the worst Exxon I ve ever been too. The owners/managers don t care or practice good customer service. So they allow their racist cashier to do and say anything to anybody. It s almost like they are scared of her. It I could give this place a -10 I would!

It took nearly 40 minutes to fill my 13 gallon tank of gas. Their gas is far more expensive than any other station in the area and their pumps are the slowest in the area as well. Avoid this place at all costs.

Always the most expensive gas in Alexandria. Found problems on safety inspection that would have cost $1000, but my mechanic and other inspection station said there was no problem.

The gas at this station is always overpriced compared to others in the area. Why go here when options for gas at stations on Rt 1 and in Old Town are always cheaper.

Gas station wouldn t fill my bike tire. Had a flat tire from the trail. Store gave me a hard time about asking for change so I could use their pay air service. Will never spend another dollar there (gas, inspections, repairs).

Long known for ripping off customers. Went for safety inspection on last day of month and was told that my headlights needed aligning, which they did not actually need. I had to pay them to align the headlights (which of course they didn't do) in order to pass inspection.

Coming to this station since i was in diapers. The owner refused to give me emissions because my car was old and was extremely rood about it. The owner is a greek man and had me very upset after he told me off amd refused to give me emissions
