I came to Bradham Automotive for what I thought was only going to be a brakes check and unfortunately there was significantly more that had to be replaced in my car.When the general manager heard my concerns, they did what they could to make the experience as affordable as possible and provided extremely quick service for the amount of work involved - I got my car back in 2 days. Not only that, but they also brought my car for the VA state and emissions testing since that was out of date for free.I HIGHLY recommend Bradham Automotive for your car repair needs. The service is top-notch, and the staff is very respectful and professional. It s a pleasant experience all around. Thank you Bradham Auto!

I called this place to get a quote. It was the third place called to get my vehicle serviced. This is the first time that I've experienced an auto company that doesn't want business. The other two companies heard my concerns. They listened to my car issues but with bradham it seemed like a rushed conversation. The other two places understood that i have error code reader similar to most auto shops. It gave me a code that tells exactly the problem in the car. This place seemed irritated that i knew what was wrong with the car.Bradham seemed to find any way not to work on my car. First saying if it is in a deep location within the car take it to the dealership or somewhere else. I told them its directly behind the bumper easily accessible if the car is raised up. I was still told they wouldn't work on it and to send the repair to another company or dealership.I've looked at YouTube videos of this repair and it's a 45 min repair. It shows you the location etc so it's sad to see a company so lazy and unprofessional. Never take your automobile here! Beware!!!

I trust the professionals at Bradham automotive to help me make the best choices for my car. Great customer service, communication on vehicle status and needs. Having a warranty part issue on my vehicle and the technician and front desk support were able to ascertain the seeing root cause of the suspension noise by trial and error on parts removal/install with the noise tests on test drives. A little pricey on the labor but well worth the problem being confirmed for my now going to the dealer with the warranty matter.

We've been bringing our vehicles to Bradham for regular service for more than seven years. When there's a mechanical issue it's explained thoroughly, with a detailed breakdown of the charges for correcting it. Yet they're always pleased to inform that nothing more than an oil change is needed on this visit, an experience I've never had at a car dealer. Honest, talented people at Bradham.

I really appreciated the communication throughout the process. The shop's email post inspection reassured me that they were very thorough and fair. I was able to review everything and had a good discussion with Scott before moving forward with some additional repairs. Great experience getting an older car checked out for my newly licensed driver. Full inspection resulting in a very honest report. Great communication, easy to understand recommendations, and really just an all around enjoyable experience. Well, once again, Bradham goes above and beyond for their clients. We are going to be on the road next week for christmas and my headlight is out. So I call to ask if there is any way that they can take care of that for me in the next day or two. Scott tells me to pop over as soon as I can. He asks someone if they would do the light change right away and I wait and chat and I'm on my way. I purchased a car that I had doubts about engine reliability and performance. I trusted Bradham to do an inspection of the vehicle , the inspection discovered major engine repair issues that if not discovered would have cost me thousands down the road , no pun intended! Scott Phillips was awesome with advice and basic honesty! I will definitely be back to Bradham, and highly recommend them!

The service performed was fine and at a reasonable price. I did not like the pressure tactics applied to perform additional work as a result of the "courtesy" inspection. Manager said I needed multiple fluid changes due to severe driving conditions in our area. Looked at Subaru definition of these and none applied to northern Virginia. Also told I needed to have tires rotated and balanced. Mileage is 45k so expect to replace them in next 5 to 10k so why pay for this service? Also told me battery was leaking and needed replaced. This was a new battery that was 6 months old and looked ok after I looked at it. Bradham has lost credibility with me as a customer.

Bradham is my new go-to shop in Old Town. Christian, the other front desk associate, and all staff were very kind, prompt, and professional. They charge a fair rate, so good work, and communication is fast and frequent. The best shop in the area I ve found yet!

Bradham absolutely saved me last year after another Autoshop was over-quoting and half-repairing things with my car. Everyone at the shop is so kind, helpful, and will take the extra time to answer and explain any questions you may have without any hint of condescension. I thought I could trust Bradham. I have been a loyal customer for years and have never had a complaint about their customer service. In September, I had a costly repair. On a recent trip out of state, I went to my long-time mechanic to do routine pre-winter maintenance. I was told the car was not safe to be driving due to the rusted out frame (pictures below). This is something that would have been a building concern for many months, if not years, and never once was I informed of this issue by Bradham, which has now turned into a serious safety hazard. The recent maintenance at Bradham was, in fact, performed immediately next to the rusted frame. I am extremely disappointed that due to either incompetency or questionable business practices, Bradham performed maintenance without addressing an underlying concern.

Everyone @ Bradham Automotive were great. They were able to get my parent s car running again after sitting for about 2 years. They provided very good detail and information on the repairs and service needed and the price was reasonable. I've been taking my 10 year old Honda Accord to Bradham Automotive for several years. Service has been excellent, relationship professional, and charges reasonable. Josh explains what's indicated, if anything beyond regular maintenance, but without high sales pressure applied. It's my "go-to" shop for auto servicing, and I expect it will continue to be for a long time to come. Since writing above, Josh left. Now get regular service at George s Foreign Auto service in Alexandria. So far so good.

I brought my 2012 Chevy Silverado in running rough and with the brakes making noise. The manager Nick got me into the shop after the dealership couldn t look at it for a couple of days. They did a full check of the whole truck and sent me a report that included pictures and educational information as well as notes from the technicians on what was needed. They prioritized the most urgent work and didn t try to upsell me on additional work that they said could wait until later. Even though it cost more than I wanted to spend, I had them address the immediate and future attention needs. Nick was extremely professional and communicated with me during the entire process. When a part came in wrong, he immediately called me and offered solutions to not having my truck back for the night. I would highly recommend Nick and Bradham Automotive to anyone who asks me for a suggestion or referral for automotive repairs. Once again, Bradham Automotive comes through for us. We have an old car and things keep wearing out, but they get us in quickly and take care of the car and get us back on the road. They are friendly and kind. I really appreciate having this business right in Old Town. If you wait for your car, it is less than two blocks to King Street where all the shopping is. The guys at Bradham worked on my Prius and replaced the shocks and struts. They did a great job and I am very happy with the results. They were quick and did quality work and the price was right. If you're looking for a responsive reliable mechanic for a foreign vehicle, I'd recommend Capitol Hill Auto Service. In September of LAST year, I brought one of my vehicles in to be diagnosed for service, an Audi. I worked with Nick. He noted that a part was on back order and it would take some time. I followed up on many, many occasions. He often said "I'll check and call you back in X minutes". He'd never call back, follow up, or anything. He's been telling me the part is on delay for over SEVEN months. I took the car to Capitol Hill Auto Services and within 1 week, they order the parts from Audi, once arrived they completed all repairs in 1 business day. My time and energy was wasted with Nick/Bradham and their lack of professionalism and communications. I refuse to work with anyone who doesn't follow up when THEY provide the timeframe in which they would do so. Also, when I originally took the car in for diagnostic with Bradham and picked it up, the same day it was making loud noises. I took it back, and apparently they failed to reconnect something. I should have known then to give up.I'd highly NOT recommend....

Can't say enough good things about Bradham's. My Jeep ground up a rocker arm and threw metal shavings all through the motor. To rebuild it would cost almost as much as a new motor, so that's what I decided to go with. They found a new one and had it in three days. It arrived on Friday and I drove away in the Jeep the following Thursday. I thought it was going to take a month. What makes this even more incredible is that this was over the July 4th weekend. I went back to Bradham Automotive for an oil change. I like receiving the text messages on the status of my vehicle. The text shows me what s good (green) what may need to be fixed in the near future (orange) and critical (red). Once I receive my text on what needs to be done with my vehicle I would call their office to see what has to be done immediately, and what I can wait to get fixed. This helps me stay on budget, which is very important if you live in the metropolitan area.
