If you re looking to try getting a hold of this place then you re out of luck. I understand they get busy. But every time I call, they pick the phone up and put me on hold or just don t answer. I ve never been able to talk to somebody over the phone from the tire center. I work and don t have time to go in there so calling is the only option for me.

Website states Auto Care opens Sundays at 8. But the actually opens at 7. Confusing.We purchased Walmart lifetime rotation and balancing when tires were originally installed. After 20,000+ miles on these 4 tires, I wanted both and specifically asked for both rotation and balancing.When picking up car, I asked if the tires had been balanced. He said yes. While going to car, the tech caught up with me and said no balance service was done. He asked if I had any vibration.Not sure what was going on at this place, but I certainly would like the services I paid for and to be honest about what services were provided.I also would like my expensive tires to last by BALANCING them as in the recommended time by the tire manufacturer.

First off I purchased the wrong size tire online. The guy at the desk pulled a tire out and made me tote it up the service desk for a refund when all the lady had to do was scan the barcode on my phone. Then when my car was done I went to pay and he added $30 worth of stuff I didn t ask for and was not even asked if I wanted any of it. I got a tire a couple of days before and was asked if I wanted these services, but this guy just added it on there without saying anything. It s sad when a woman can t even get a tire without being taken advantage of. It was almost $100 just for one tire. Buyers beware. Also my tire light is still on.Service: Auto tire replacement

I went to automotive at abingdon this morning. The 2 gentlemen that serviced my mom's car were outstanding. If I could get these 2 guys everything I need something for the cars I would feel so much more at ease. They know their stuff.

They will not answer the phone and will just pick it up and put you on hold. They lost my business. I will be contacting corporate and driving by now to get names to let them know who is not doing there job.

I had great customer service here at the automotive center at Walmart the little guy was awesome he cleaned my lights, did a great job!!!!

My car died in the parking lot while I was in Walmart. John the Service Manager not only helped me find jumper cables, but he helped me try to jump off my car too. When my car still didn t start, John helped me pick out a battery that was right for my car and even installed it for me in the parking lot. He went above and beyond to help get me back on the road. Thank you John!

They had the 2 tires in stock I needed after blowing out a tire passing through on the highway. They were able to fit me in right away and had my new tires put on and checked out within an hour.

I called the shop on a Friday evening with two flat tires on a boat trailer at 6:30 PM when I was only 2 hours into a 9 hour drive home. Ben said we close in 30 minutes but get here as quick as you can and we'll see what we can do. I pulled in and Ben and Andrew changed one tire and patched another to get me back on the road. Their professionalism and service was top notch, especially that close to quitting time on a Friday evening. Their willingness to help me in a pinch allowed my son to make his baseball tournament game that next morning in PA. I'm very grateful of their customer focus and excellent service!Service: Tires

I have used Walmart auto centers at stores in several different states. I have NEVER had such terrible service as what I've experienced with this store. Three different times now, I have been there for services and witnessed employees wandering around without acknowledging the customers. I was there half an hour the second time waiting for someone to ask me what I needed. The first two times, there were not that many customers (Two, to be exact.) but the wait times were ridiculous. Today, I went to get my oil changed and was told that I have to have an appointment. It's Walmart! What the heck? It's supposed to be about convenience and economy. The appointment book was consulted and I was told they didn't have time to change the oil in my car today. I kid you not, there were NOT that many appointments written in for the entire day. I was there four and a half hours before their closing time. There were *maybe* six names written down during that time. There are two bays and multiple employees. I asked to speak to a manager not to insist my oil be changed but to tell someone about my experiences. They sent a customer service manager so I'm sure my complaints will go no further. After listening to my complaints and me telling them that they are losing money due to their poor staffing and disorganization, she asked me if I'd like to schedule an appointment. NO! I don't want to schedule an appointment. First off, it's Walmart! Why the heck would you think scheduling appointments is a good idea? As I told her, if they can't handle the workload on that measly schedule, they need to reevaluate the staff to accommodate the services advertised. Since the first service that I got was tires that resulted in a flat tire due to a faulty valve stem that I had to pay to get repaired elsewhere because I was hours away, I sincerely question the quality of the services even offered at this point and given my poor experiences with this center, NO! I will not schedule an appointment. I will not try to use this auto center again. Three strikes, you're out!! I assure you I am not the only person to feel this way as I have talked to others who have had similar experiences.

Call and told them what was going on with my tire. Had to talk to the manager he told me to make a appointment so I did and they would check my tire for me. Take it in today and the guy working wouldn't do what was said by the manager. So they say one thing and do another . So if something happens to my tire I'm holding them all responsible for their actions!! So the Abingdon Walmart Auto Care Center SUCKS and so does the TEAM OF WORKERS!!!!!Service: Tires

No one working the desk, I had to go back out to my car a few times and each time it took forever for one of the mechanics to come help me even though I stood at the window and they looked right at me but ignored me. I was also told this was the cheapest place to buy tires and they had a discount going on, then when I asked I was told it'd be 71 dollars just to put it on the rim. They also said they couldn't put it on the rim when the rim only had a small nic, not even a dent on the outside of it. Also when they did finally wait on me they told me to wait and then waited on everyone else. Never dealing with them again if I can help it.

terrible experience here. took at least a half hour before I FINALLY got my tire even registered for someone to look at. then I "shopped" for a half hour or more after being told they'd get right to it. when I went back to check on it after 40 minutes I saw them go get it and start on it. I was there for a patch, dude couldn't find any bubbles when dropping it in his tub so he told me it's fine, just go w/ it. I personally pulled the metal out of it w/ air whooshing so I knew it wasn't ok. I left it w/ his promise to take it off the rim and look for it. next day when I went to get it I asked if they'd taken it off the rim and found anything and they said yes, but didn't find anything. well of course it kept leaking so I took it to an actual tire place and it still had the "milk" in it from the fix-a-flat which makes me about 98% sure they did NOT even take it off the rim as I was told. absolutely done w/ this place and you should be too.Service: Tires

Just went in for tire alignment and oil change. All was done well, everyone was kind. I think they need additional staff at the checkout counter back there though.For most convenience, call a day ahead and make an appointment.

Great customer service. It's Saturday evening and I'm at home after work. Decide to wash my truck. Upon washing my wheels I discovered my valve stem is leaking air. It's 530 and no where is open to fix it. No where would be open on Sunday but the great guys at Wal-Mart Tire and Lube took it right in and changed it at 630pm. You guys are great and I would highly recommend you.Thanks a Bunch.Jason Mullins

Went in for a trailer tire did not have the right size but found one that would work. Waited for an hour then was asked if I was going to take the tire with me. Told them again that I needed it put on my tire had started to come apart he said OK. Thirty minutes later was told they could not put in on because it was a different size. Now this is Saturday now after 12 can't find a tire shop open to put tire on I'm stuck with no way to travel. Oh yeah I'm not from here and need to be 500 miles down the road on Monday at 8 a.m. thank you Walmart for all the great service and help. This looks like a new Walmart I sure hope they can find some new help. While I was typing this they pulled a car out of they bay went to the back of the store with the car and did not quite donuts the car just did not have it in it. Not sure what that was about.

Got tires put on here - not only did the do a pooor job, resulting in corrosion on my wheels, they refused to fix the problem when I brought it back. They also put on terrible valve stems that most standard hoses won't fit.Take it to a real shop. You'll be better off.

Myself, my wife, baby and dogs were headed south when we got a bubble in our tire. Daniel and his guys helped us get back on the road when they were already booked for appointments. Excellent customer service. Thanks Daniel!

So I found out that Walmart doesn't actually drain the oil. They suck the oil out of the dipstick. This is not a good way to change engine oil on a vehicle. This method works fine for lawn mowers, but I would never use this on a vehicle. That leaves behind too much dirty oil to contaminate the new oil which makes an oil change pointless. Unless this method is changed back to using he drain plug (as it's intended, that's why it's there) I will not be taking any of my vehicles here for oil changes. I will also recommend that everyone else stay away unless you don't care about your vehicle.

Although they quickly changed the oil in my car, they wouldn't rotate the tires and didn't place a sticker for next time oil change on my windshield.

The lube center is the most unorganized department at Walmart. Only one associate is available to help customers while several employees do nothing. I mean nothing! These guys have customers piling up out the doors, while there service techs stand doing nothing. Nothing, no cars in the bay nothing! I m done.

Horrible customer service. The store in bristol didn't have tires and your abingdon store told me that it may be 2 or 3 days before they could get to me. Both stores couldn't have cared less. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Bought a battery here for less than half the price of a parts store, I know it probably won't last as long but if you need a battery on a budget Walmart is the place to go.
