Swapped some tires over on a set of wheels for me. Great customer service, very friendly. Extremely fast turnaround. I do recommend this place to others.

Great local shop with affordable prices. I've brought multiple vehicles here for inspections and some minor work. From setting up an appointment, to dropping off my vehicle, and then picking it up has been smooth each time. The guys are up front with what needs to be fixed and they provide reasonable estimates with quick turnaround.

Great father and son team. I've been bringing my vehicles here for years. Very satisfied. Honest, Reasonable rates. They only fix what needs to be done.Like another reviewer said , If they can't fix it, they will send you to another mechanic who specializes in that area. Great mechanics, Steve and Sean.

Scheduled an appointment to have my snows mounted/balanced and do an inspection, I had to adjust my appointment twice because of my schedule and they were understanding and flexible. The work was done when they said it would be at a fair price, I'm very happy with things. On a side note, I'm not sure if this is in response to the negative review about a failed inspection costing money, but they have multiple signs disclaiming that inspections cost the same, pass or fail. In my experience this is a common policy.

Steve always treats me fair and gives me the best prices. Its refreshing knowing I have a mechanic I can trust. Sometimes I ask him to do multiple things for my older car and he is always willing to take a look and get it done

I've been going to Pecor for years. They're incredibly trustworthy and competent. How many other mechanics do you that will recommend another shop for certain services? Steve always points me in the direction and goes the extra mile to save me money. My favorite mechanic of all time!

I recently had a very disappointing interaction with this service...there are unfortunately two different philosophies epitomized by father and son here. The son Sean told me that my car would receive an inspection sticker after a repair was completed, while the father charged me $35 for a failed inspection and told me to go somewhere else to get an inspection. When I called to discuss this discrepancy in their perspectives, the father HUNG UP on me. Go elsewhere in the area...you'll be treated more fairly and considerately. I would be happy to work with son Sean again, but for now I am very discouraged in this service, as I would have liked to support their local family business.

When you fork over $6500 for a car with only 47k on it, I would expect to drive further than 300 miles before the camshaft gear and timing chain crapped out. Now I'm stuck paying $900 to get it repaired. Now I know why he wouldn't budge a bit give a 30 day warranty. Steve wasn't willing to offer any assistance, sorry it was sold as is. This, after he told me if for some reason something major happens to let him know. Sometimes honest mistakes happen in business, It would have been nicer to have come up with some sort of compromise to end up having a satisfied customer.True, the car had several oil changes throughout it's 47k miles, however, you did the last one on it. Toyota dealership said the cam gear teeth were all chipped up from an oil change mishap which bent down the oil splash baffle in the valve cover enough to make slight contact on the cam gear. The damage would have happened very quickly within a couple hundred miles and triggered an error code on the computer. You said that the computer had no codes showing up when you inspected the car so it's likely that the oil baffle could have been unintentionally bend during the oil change you did prior to us buying the car. The P0012 code came on 300 miles after leaving your shop. This took a few weeks as my daughter was only putting on abt 80 mile a week. I cleared the code, she drove several more weeks and it triggered again, same code. I replaced the VVT cam sensor which the code referred to. It took abt 3 more weeks for my dau to rack up 400 miles and the same code came up again. Yes the car is 14yrs old but very low mileage and almost show room condition. I had the car fixed, it's running fine now. It didn't break my bank account and it really isn't so much the money. Like I said earlier, sometimes honest mistakes and mishaps can happen in business. My dau had put on 1300 miles by the time I contacted you, it took that long to diagnose the problem which started out at the 300 mile mark. When I called, I was only trying to see if you would be willing to help out on this, not stick you with the whole 900 bill.

The guy was very helpful he looked at a car for me for free. He didn't put it up on a lift but he did a visible ground check and he helped me to avoid buying a car that couldn't be fixed. He knows his stuff and I would trust him!

I, unfortunately, had a bad experience at Pecor Auto. I bought winter tires from them and had them mounted on my car. Eventually, spring rolled around and I had my all season tires put back on my wheels. A few days later, I noticed that a tire that had a bleb on the side. I assumed I had hit a pot hole and had it replaced. Then a few weeks later i noticed another bleb on a different tire. I got a little suspicious and went back to Pecor and told him about the problem. I noticed that the inside rim of the wheel was all torn up, and the steel belt exposed and damaged. He didn't apologize. He simply said that it occasionally happens even when you lube the wheels. I believed him and bought a new tire. After he replaced that one, I noticed that a third tire had a bleb (this one was on the inside wall so it was difficult to see). Upset, I went back. He stating again that it wasn't his fault and instead replacing the tire, would only sell me a cheaper tire.I felt that he should have replaced the tire and was upset that he didn't check the other tires to see if they were damaged after replacing the first tire. By the time I got the third tire replaced, I had been driving with blebs on my tires for 3 weeks, which is dangerous.

My go-to mechanics for ten years now. Great service, fair prices. It's good to have a place to trust when you're as hard on cars as I am.

Have been taking our aging car here for 8 years now- they have always done great work, taken the time to explain what they were doing, and the prices have been fair.

Running to look for a car and everybody seem very pleasant and the prices are a little too high for me though. Just my opinion. :)
