I can't overstate how amazing the whole team at Quintin Brothers are. My only hesitation in writing a review is that I don't want them to become overcrowded as they are my favorite shop in the state. Their prices are fair and they don't try to sell you on work the car doesn't need. The quality of the work is top notch. Even if I found a place that was cheaper, I wouldn't leave as I know I am getting reliable service that I can trust every time. I was raised in a family that had an auto parts business. Walking into Quintin Brothers has the same vibe of a local run business where they treat you like family. They have gone out of their way to help me in a pinch, and always find a way to work around my schedule. When I had a part fail surprisingly early after being replaced, but was no longer under warranty, they covered it themselves and didn't charge me anything. When surprise failures have left me stuck without a car, they have found ways to squeeze me in last minute. This has even included employees staying overtime for several hours to make sure my car was safe and driveable for weekend plans. While other businesses are struggling to find employees in the workforce these days, the team at Quintin Brothers remains strong and thus has a shorter wait than other shops. I truly can not say enough about this company. Thank You to all of them!

I just moved into the area. I always forget to write good reviews and I m so happy with them that I m writing it as I sit in the waiting room!I live down the street and my battery randomly died yesterday. It s been running fine since but I was so nervous it would happen again and wanted to get it looked at asap. Out of 7 places I called in the area, they were one of two who had a person (not auto machine) answer, and the only ones who could squeeze me in to take a look. Once I arrived they met with me right away and went to take a look.If it s extensive fix I ll have to schedule an actual appointment which is totally understandable, but it s such a relief to get it looked at right away. Everyone is so professional and efficient. And lastly - the waiting room is so cool! I ve never had strong feelings about an auto waiting room before

I had my GTO dyno tuned there almost 2 years ago and I was extremely impressed with all aspects of their business. Working on modern, high horsepower cars is not easy but the folks at Quinton Brothers make it look easy. I'm heading back there next week with my 1xxx horsepower build, to be tuned.

Brought my car to have an exhaust modified - re-routing part of it and moving a valve. Quoted price was a little high, but they seemed like they were pros and I'd get good quality work. The completed work lacks attention to detail, and I can't say I'd trust them to do any future work.The welds are mediocre and you can see pieces of welding wire hanging in the exhaust when looking down the tailpipes. Also we agreed the exhaust would be painted to protect the welds from rust, and that's shoddily done as well. Sections of black paint on stainless pipe isn't a good look. If it was cleanly done I'd be fine, but I could literally do better with a rattle can laying on my back under the car, and I might.Ultimately I'm pretty disappointed, I was originally excited to have found a shop that I thought could do custom work for my cars going forward.- Follow up - 3 years later and turns out a short section they used wasn't stainless as requested, and has now fully rotted out. Awesome.

It s good to find qualified, knowledgeable technicians who really know how to do the work. Even better is a professional business that does what it commits to doing and treats you with respect. But best of all, is being able to trust that they will continue working on something until it is absolutely perfect.I ve been burned before, but have a newfound trust with Tim, Pete, Peter and Mark at Quintin Brothers. I did not know them when I moved to the Burlington area 2 years ago from out of state, but they were the shop everyone recommended. After having the engine rebuilt and other work on my 1966 Mustang, now I know why. I highly recommend them.Services: Transmission, Engine repair, Brakes

I brought my dodge challenger to Quintin Bros. to install a new hood scoop and hood pins. The price I was quoted and the price I paid was over 500.00 dollars difference. The hood ruined my motor shield cover, in which I had to pay for. Then under the hood all the screws that hold the inner cover on came loose and lost some, hope they don't turn up in my motor, because I'm sure I would have to pay for it. When I called them, they recommend I try these different screws. Tim said I would have to pay for the labor to put them in. I passed on the labor and went in to pick up the screws, at his cost- 45.00. Are you kidding me. To have the nerve to charge me. I like fine things and don't mind paying for them, however when a business owner doesn't take responsibility then that is just bad business. My friend I recommended to Quintin Bros. had new headers put on his car. He let me hear it and I thought it sounded weak after spending thousands of dollars. I would never take my car back there.

Quintin Brothers is highly recommended. They were able to get my car in and finished within 24 hours. Other places nearby would not replace a starter or could not even look at the car until the following week.Quintin Brothers are really car people and the family atmosphere makes it a great place to just be. The cost of service is quite reasonable. The charge for the new starter was very reasonable. They even offered a ride to get me back to my work.

I purchased a 1972 Plymouth Valiant from Quintin Brothers and I was promised a running and driving car. When transport was arranged and the driver arrived to pick up the vehicle for delivery the problems began.The gas tank had a hole in it and the battery was dead. I received an angry phone call from my driver stating the car was not in the condition promised. Cole then made a big deal out replacing the bad battery and getting the car running.The car arrives a few days later to not only be dead again, but now missing the air cleaner lid.Getting the bill of sale was another ordeal as it took over two weeks of constant reminders. Cole claimed to have CoVID, but after being lead on I am not sure I can trust him.He found my original review and asked me to change it so it does not reflect the events of what actually happened. This is now the second revision to restore the truth.

These guys worked on a vehicle of mine back in the day and I had heard good things about them from enthusiasts so I decided to bring my new project up to them to have a stand-alone ecu installed and to diagnose why the motor wasn t running. Long story short they were way overbooked and even once my car was there I kept hearing they were behind and would stop working on my car. Got pushed back so far that their tuner was going on vacation and we had to bin the new ecu install. Instead decided to try and get the car running right without the new ecu which I was fine with. Several weeks later and I still had a non running car to the tune of nearly $5k which was the initial estimate including the standalone which was the majority of the work. We resolved that issue with a lower payment, but the final piece for me was looking it over once I had it home (my fault for waiting until then) and seeing they dry wiped all the dust off of my car and left my new paint job covered in swirls. Going to cost me close to $1000 to have it corrected. I would have been better off having never brought it up, seemed like they had more important work to do.Services: Exhaust, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I was referred to Quintin Brothers Auto in order to clear an airbag warning light that was holding up my 2017 state inspection. These guys were able to quickly and very cheaply identify the issue as a faulty seat-belt sensor.This is an almost 15 year old, pre-owned, vehicle and my experience with it's regular maintenance and documentation is limited.The team at Quintin Auto went above and beyond my expectations and looked into my the car history and determined that the sensor was under lifetime warranty through the original dealer. This extra research saved me close to $275 and highlights their commitment to their customers.

I was having issues with a aftermarket installed supercharger causing the engine lights to come on. They quickly found the problem and fixed it in a very professional manner. I always find Tim and the guys to be courteous and fair.

I asked Cole Quintin for a quote and he never got back to me, a month later I asked if he was almost done my quote, he apologized and said he would have it the next day. He never got back to me, makes me wonder how some places stay in business! I ll take my business somewhere else where they actually help customers!

I have been bringing my Classic to the Quintin's for years.This is the only place to bring your classic for service, upgrades, and restorations. They do awesome work and stand behind itThank you guys!

I have been going to these guys for years on various cars. I never feel like I am getting ripped off. If they have an OEM part that doesn't quite fit, they don't come back and say I have to get the most expensive part, they machine the other one to get it to work, especially if I have an old car. Like what they do.
