Both sets front and rear brakes and rotors done on my 2019 Nissan Rogue, did an excellent job quick! Great customer service from receptionist. Didn't charge me an arm or a leg either.

Two people recommended this shop to me so I went there to have a cracked stainless line for my power steering repaired. They did the repair and a week later I had power steering fluid all over my truck. They had lost a mounting bracket and zip-tied the new line to the frame causing it to rub against a pulley wheel causing a hole in the line.I had a busy schedule so I made a repair and decided I would discuss this issue with TipTop in a few days. Meanwhile the carrier bearing on my drive shaft became a problem so, I had the truck towed to them to get both problems solved. They had the truck for more than a week and told me that a supplier was sending the incorrect drive shaft (3 times). Finally, they said the part was not available and I should come and get the truck out of their yard. I went to the auto parts store in White River across the street from them (approximately) and ordered the drive shaft and repaired the truck the next morning. By having the truck towed to them and then to my house cost me $550.I did not ask about the power steering line since they were incapable of repairing the drive shaft. I would not trust their repairs and have wasted much time and money with them. I will never use them again

I had tires I had bought mounted and balanced at tip top tire on February 2nd, 2023. I also had them do an alignment. I am writing this review on April 12th. In that time period the inner edges on both my rear tires completely wore out, to the point that the passenger rear is showing wires. I have had alignments done elsewhere and can say for certain when they are done properly, tires won't wear out in two months. I would not recommend bringing your vehicle there for an alignment.

Tip Top has always done right by me. They are reasonably priced and competent. They even worked with me when I brought my own parts.

Tip Top Tire is an amazing place to have your car worked on! I just brought mine in for some rocker panel work and they did a perfect job! They're honest and fair which is a huge help to someone like me that always thinks they're getting screwed over by a garage. Only 5 stars cause I can't give them more. Thank you Tip Top Tire!

Terrible! Took my car in to be diagnosed and they did not fix the problem after bringing it back 3 times. After paying them over $300 they told me it was a different problem that would cost me more money. Further, there are other things wrong with my car now that we're not a problem before I brought it in to Tip Top/Wilder Auto. Very unhappy that I need to take them to small claims court. I'm sure I'm not the first.

I've been a customer of Tip Top Tire for a few years now. I always get great service and their prices are really good. They are the first name out of my mouth when someone asks about a good local garage.

Bought a 2005 Subaru Outback there, smelled exhaust in the cabin within the first 2 weeks. Brought the car back there to be looked at, the shop said could not smell anything. A few months later another shop located the exhaust leak, quoted ~$800 for the repair. Called Tip Top back, Tip Top offered a cheaper repair method for ~$200. I asked if it would work, Tip Top promised it would. So I went ahead with the repair.Less than 6 months later, I smell exhaust in the cabin again. Turns out the cheap repair failed. I find my repair paperwork and notice I am still within repair warranty, so I call Tip Top back. At first the owner said if I buy the part for the more expensive repair, he'll put it in for free. The part would be ~$800 and I was open to the plan. When I showed up at the shop, Tip Top refused to honor the labor warranty on the repair, and told me it was my decision initially to go with the cheap repair. At this point Tip Top said to really solve the issue the repair requires a factory exhaust pipe part that comes to ~$1000 parts and labor, but they did not mention this initially. The owner's wife/partner did the talking this time and she made me feel belittled and taken advantage of. The situation was handled without integrity or empathy.

I got a great deal from this place. I met one of the mechanics (Bradey) before having the wheel bearing on my Jeep changed. Although they quoted me at similar prices to other places initially, I was able to get a better deal with a little negotiation. The service was faster than they predicted and the car seems to be running pretty well. Very responsive and thorough, definitely recommend!

I have been going to Tip Top Tire since i moved here in 2004 for any non-warranty work and for all my inspections. They have always been great and have gotten my cars in and out very quickly. The prices are reasonable and everyone there has been courteous and professional

Great service and an even better price! Had a major emergency when the belts in my tire snapped and needed a tire ASAP! I was looking for an odd size but they were able to get me two installed same day and got me safely back on the road. Very impressed with them and I will be returning in the future!

I've used Tip Top Tire for eight years. They have worked on multiple used cars for my family & I, advised me when buying vehicles, and have stood by their work, often going beyond the call of duty to make sure that we were taken care of. They have even at times not charged me for little fixes that only required labor and not much time. I'm sure, most other places would have charged me $80 just to look at it. I've walked away many times, throughout these past 8 years, saying to myself: "This is how a car repair place should treat people." The way I have been treated, makes them the first place I go when having issues with my car. The reason why I write this was because when looking up the number for Tip Top on google, I saw reviews that I felt didn't accurately describe them. Often that is the way it is, people only take the time to write a review when something goes wrong. I just thought that it was important to share that my experience with tip top has been great!

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible...Two things I want to say.1) I have engine trouble, I knew that is cam shaft sensor, I used have the same problem.I said check cam sensor, they did and told that go to dealer shop because they don't find exact location. Dealer shop informed to me that my cam sensor is broken. Dealer said someone tried pull off and and broke. I asked that is caused by mechanical force or by naturally. Dealer told that the former is high possibility.I told this thing to Tiptop. They said no apology because there is no evidence. Even owner yelled to me "Get out of place I don't want to argue"What an insane place.2) I changed tires and rotated. I found my wheel lock key is missing. I asked to find it out. They found one. I told "It shouldn't been happened. They responded "no apology because the key is mine or not because I drove the other car.Even one star is not deserved this place. No excuse no apology and even brutal attitude.Be careful the owner possess guns. On the wall he posted he hunted animal!

Worst place to go hands down. I wouldn't bring my tricycle there. They are rude people Especially Sue ring the owner and she's a horrible landlord. They try to bully people and make them feel very Uncomfortable. They will fix stuff on your car that they shouldn't and Charge you outrageously. Stay far away

Perfect for frugal Vermonters looking for a genuine Vermont repair team and a fair deal. Don't bring your fancy car or truck here, but expect a good experience if you have a reasonably priced vehicle needing tires, inspection, repairs, or just a check up. Good fair Vermont people. They'll never upsell you on something you don't need....

Got my motorcycle inspected here. They don't overcharge for bikes. It was only $35. It's garage and I'd recommend them for car repairs as well. The mechanics have a lot of experience and are honest!

First time I've been back there since the controversial issue with sabotage. The new manager seems great, and some of the old faces I used to trust in love are still there.

They can pretty much fit you in whenever. Only ever get turned away around seasonal tire change over time, fall and spring. Most of the staff are great, only a few hiccups from time to time. But all and all, decent little shop that will bend over backwards to get you rolling again.

They killed our Honda Civic!!! After having the dealership service out civic for ten years and 200K miles I decided to cheap out and have Tip Top change the timing belt at 200K. The car died two weeks latter. Their head mechanic told me it had a broken crank shaft or thrown piston. But he assured me it was not the timing belt. I towed it to another garage that said the timing belt had slipped and caused considerable engine damage. It cost me $1500 to get it drivable again. THe bottom line is that Tip Top did bad work, tried to cover it up, even lied to me about it. Mistakes happen but YOU NEVER DOWN RIGHT LIE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!

Do Not Purchase Tires From This Business!I made this mistake and now I'm out $80! I bought a set of Cooper summer tires from them earlier this year. When I was paying (334.04) the guy behind the counter informed me about the mail in rebate and let me know the rotations were included as well as the winter change overs. I remember this distinctly yet they charged me another $80 just to put my winter tires on yesterday!!!!! They flat out refused to honor what was said previously. Let this be a warning to all. Get the details in writing of what is actually included no matter where you buy your tires. I can only hope karma will make things right.

Do NOT take your vehicle there. I took my Mistubishi montero LTD 2003 there to have my timing belt changed. I got my car back from them after a couple of days and my engine had a clunking sound. I looked under the hood and found that the pully that they had removed to put the belt in was falling off. Not loose, not wobbly, it was FALLING off.I called them to tell them what was happening and they said to bring my car in. How? So I told them that it needed to be towed and they begrudgingly paid for the service. They had told me excuse after excuse of how this happened, but the bottom line was, the person who worked on my car originally had not tightened the Screw that held the pulley in place. This is an unacceptable error. They "fixed" the problem and sent me on my way.Fast forward two months and my car cannot keep any oil in it. I take it in to another garage and they tell me that the Timing belt issue had damaged my engine and it would cost more than $4000 to replace the engine.Do NOT risk your cars engine here. It will not be worth it if another person "forgets" to tighten all the bolts that they had used to "fix" your car.

I recommend Tip Top Tire. Sue runs a tight ship, family run, honest, real folks treat me like a person. Never take advantage of my lack of knowledge and respectfully educate me appropriately. Shout out to an honest, reliable small business!

brought my beloved Subaru in for an oil change and some other minor work. The folks were super nice, gave me a ride to work, dropped the car off at the end of the day, and the oil change was half what I paid at a different "foreign car" place, also in WRJ. Guess where I'll be bringing my car from now on???

No mechanic is cheap. Tip Top has given me bad news but never a bad deal. Cars don't last forever. Overall, I think they are competent and fair.
