I would like to give a huge shout out and thumbs up, I believe it was Tom , that helped my daughter get into her first car. He even let me snap a photo of the two of them with the car. I bought my first car here from his father back in the 80's and few after that. This place is still the same and the people are very nice! Again thank you for helping my baby girl smile!

You get what u pay for got a beautiful Corolla off them iv bought about 15 cars from them over the years these are used cars people and there as is so don't complain if you didn't check them out first every car goin to need some kinda work but all mine have been beautiful just needs some work then it passes inspection no need to complain

I would give this place ZERO stars if I could they sold an 2004 hyundai Sante fe with a bad subframe and structural damage where the subframe attaches to the car knowing that she had kids in the car and all they care about is getting money by being grimy and shady and the car had a compression fitting on the brake line also

I brought a neighbor over to purchase a vehicle from this business. We were not even 30 miles out and the check engine light came on. Then started leaking oil all over the ground. Took it to a local mechanic and received an estimate just to make the car road worthy. We have tried and tried to contact the owner with no return call NOTHING.. The owner of this business and the mechanic have done everything in their power to avoid us, lie to us ect. We have a recording of the mechanic telling us they stand by their word of helping and fixing. Nope they do not. Steer clear of this business as we now have a lawyer and will be suing them in court..when i say RUN.. please RUN

I will never EVER go to our recommend this place to ANYONE. My wife and i have 3 kids, went to lavictoires to buy a safe vehicle for our kids, the salesman got us into a 2021 dodge grand caravan. No major problems yet but here lies my problem. We went to the bank to take our registration $, about 600$. I placed it in the same envelope as our vehicle $, which was 3800$. We drove straight, no stops from hrccu in glens falls to lavictoire. Straight shot. My wife not realizing i combined the money handed him the envelope with 4400 for a van he sold us for 3800. The guy took the stack of cash, didn't count it and finalized the transaction. When i got home we immediately realized what had happened and tried calling but they were closed so i called back as soon as they opened the next day when he eventually answered he lied right to me. He said he still had the money right there and he counted it to say it was only the 3800. He NEVER counted it in front of either of us. Said there was nothing he could do and good luck. He pocketed $600 and called me a liar. I understand it us BOTH parties responsiblity to count the money but literally he is the ONLY one that could have it. Liar and a scumbag

Hassle free car shopping! Just put 10k miles on a car I paid 2k for and have had to put ZERO dollars into it! Couldn't ask for better. Will def be back when in need of wheels again!!!

This place is croocks to began with they ripped me off lied pretended he was this modest sales man trying to work with me yet ripped me off majorly. I took my car to buick they listed so many things wrong with this car I plan to take legal action I can't even began to know where to start they used trailer wiring to rig underneath the hood panels rotted car is a fire Hazzard these people are scams and shall not have a license to sell cars period anyone who goes through these dirt bags I feel for.

Don't think you'll be any different. Bought a car from this guy on 6/6. Had it 3 days, maybe 120 miles, and the motor blew. It was due to a cob job from a previous owner.This guy was decent enough to buy a motor, but, 2,000 miles from home, on LIMITED funds, I now have to pay another 1100$ for the labor.I should have read their horrible feedback and went somewhere else.But hey, now I can sell the car for 2x the amount I paid.

Good place to buy a used car. Jamie was very helpful and straight to the point on how in shape the cars are. Bought a 2002 Explorer from him and he was great enough to knock the price down to my budget.To the people who got lemons. It happens, i recommend bringing someone with you who knows cars, its a used car place so problems might happenThere are a few things i dont agree with that the place does but all in all ask for Jamie and he will make the experience worth it

I purchased a 2011 Cruze I gave him 5000 cash didn't make it 5 miles and overheated so brought it back he had a few issues repaired then told me the rest is on me so ok I'm up to a 1000 in parts new intake manifold new wheel bearing Wich they said was good not to many other parts to list and car still has 12 codes in it obviously will not pass nys biggest pos I ever owned Tom will not give me my money back when I got home from Rutland one hose they said they fixed popped off spray me and my kids with hot hot antifreeze what would you people do in conclusion I make it a point now to tell everyone I meet or I know that's looking for a car never go to these people their con artist scumbags toms lucky he's so far from where I live because he's still got one coming someday could be years from now he will get his

Element is not in the condition as stated and sales man were very untruthful. First they stated that the rockers and struts needed work. No biggie right. Took it for a test drive and check engine light was on, the rear brakes needed work and were grinding bad. I suppose it could be because of sitting but sure sounded worse. The kicker was when we just stalled out of nowhere each and everytime we slowed down and stopped at a stop sign. It must of happened like a 10-12 times. We finally made it back from the test drive and the two sales man just seemed to come with a bunch of excuses of what might of happened and the list of things that was wrong with it became a mile long. Just bought a 2010 Ford Escape off of them for $4200 and it s junk!!! I told them I was a single mom of two little ones and needed something safe and reliable and all I had was $4000 that I saved up! Knowing that they still sold me this vehicle and for me to get it inspected and safe for my kids it s gonna cost me another at least $3,000!!! Tried to talk to them about this and he completely ignored it! All I wanted was some type of reimbursement or let me bring it back, anything and got nothing!!! I would not trust these people at all! Sad thing is my late husband used to buy from them and I even mentioned that! They are heartless and scam artists to say the least! For them to do this to someone knowing there situation is beyond bad business!!! I will be posting about them everywhere! I tried the nice way and to resolve this but they don t care!!! Please be careful! If I could give no stars I sure would have!!!

These guys were awsome to me.. I did my homework and checked cars i know my cars...They were very honest about anything i found wrong w a vehicle and brought up. Basically i feel as tho they give you access to auction cars we dont have access too normally. Just do your homework. The girl in the office was really nice too. They r in the business to make money ..just check. Have to get under the cars and pull fluids.n check yourself. Ps i bought a 2005 Volvo XC90 at a really awsome price and we love it...so greatfull to these guys ...n remember for every 1 bad review there is 200 good out there that didnt post...

My friend bought a car and the frame was rotted. They refused to do anything at first until she threatened legal action, they put her in a different car, that frame is also bad. She is getting a lawyer. Yes, it's sold 'as is' but it legally has to be able to pass inspection according to Vermont laws.Do not buy a vehicle from Lavictorie!

Sold us a Toyota Camry and we were told that it was inspectable and that there was no issues at all with the car. On our drive home the car started making a terrible noise every time you d turn. Went to get the car inspected within 10 days and the frame was absolute junk. We got robbed. The check engine light came on the 3rd time we went to drive it. Don t buy a vehicle at this junk yard.

Bought a car from them October 2018 and still has not pass inspection. I took it for a test drive everything ran okay. I drove it home and when I almost get home the engine light came on. All sales were final so I couldn't bring it back. Car was for 1300 sold it to me for 800 thought I was getting a good deal I put over $2,000 in the car. Biggest joke ever.

This is a great place to buy a used car! Customer service is amazing, they work with you, and are honest. They are flexible with prices and as a college freshie, I didn t have a lot to begin with but got a great car (3months ago) that I ve had 0 problems with except the few nics and nacs that come with older used cars.Remember you are buying a USED car, hidden problems are inescapable in the end. But they will tell you what they are aware of, and I suggest bringing someone with you that knows a lot about cars: any time you are buying a used car really. Bring someone who is willing to get underneath and take a look around for you. Someone who can tell what may need work in the near future.

I am giving them 5 stars for their professionalism, integrity, and candid honesty regarding their cars and "getting what you pay for." I purchased a used car from them a while back and have no complaints. Nice people who are not looking to pull one over on anyone. I'd like to come back with a bigger budget in the future. This place is a rip off!! I got charged almost $5,000 for a 2009 Ford Escape, I was told NO MAJOR ISSUES! Well a month after I get it, it was acting up, and do to the pandemic I now am tight on funds, I brought to a garage and was just told my rear driveshaft is broke, I have nothing but rust bad up by my wheels, and it WONT PASS INSPECTION in June! I have had this escape less then a yr!!! These people are just about the money!!

i bought a car from these guys last week that can't pass inspection. he told me it was his sons car and when i asked what was wrong with it he said nothing and that it was a safe car for my kids. I had my 4 yr old and 5 month old children with me and my girlfriend when we test drove and then bought the vehicle. 2 days after i bought the vehicle the muffler broke off then the next day my brakes failed. I paid 2300 for a car that failed the vt inspection in 10 different areas and they said the brakes could have failed at any min. i was lucky my 3 kids were not in the car and that i was able to stop by hitting a snow bank. I will be seeking legal action and i will calling the police to find out if i can press charges for child endangerment. make sure you have 2 garages check the carout before you buy if your crazy enough to even go there

Honest guy, my family & extended family have purchased more than 5 vehicles from lavictoire's. They're used cars, some very heavily and with that come unexpected repairs, as with any vehicle. After reading some reviews here you'd think that people are forgetting that. Sometimes problems aren't noticable until they act up, a dealer cant be expected to also be psychic.I'd also like to remind NY shoppers that in Vermont for inspections check engine lights can be on, which is obviously a problem with NY inspections. If you're buying a used car and don't know anything about cars, often times you can find a mechanic that you can pay to come check out the car prior to purchasing. That fee will be less than major repairs for things you missed.

Purchased a truck that was listed for 5k. During the process he changed price to 7k. Lied about what was wrong with the truck. I live close by and will get my money back one way or the other

Every car I ever bought from here has been better and better every time no big issues the normal stuff you would get from a private seller your buying cars from a whole seller your buying cars that got traded in at bigger dealerships cause people didn't wanna fix them stop complaining that you can't check a car over your interested in

The older lady that lives next ro me went n traded ger truck n some cash for a vehicle that she was told had nothing wrong with it had it here for a couple days took it to a garage because something wasnt right the second day n found out it needed a whole bunch of things done to it plus transmission. Luckily she got her truck back but they kept her money. She doesnt have alot of money n really needed a half way decent vehicle people should not be taking advantage of older people.

My friend bought a car from these people and they refused to let her test drive it. She got it to the Sunoco station in town. Four miles down the rd. It was almost out of gas so she had to get gas in it she shut it off at the pump of course and it wouldn t turn back on after that.

do not waste your time coming here. i was sold a vehicle with a rotted frame. reported back to lavictores to rectify the situation . he said bring more cash and ill get you into something else3,000$ on a car with a broken frame. thanks for screwing my self and my family over.

Sold me a 2003 Santa Fe with a disabled check engine light and almost no gas in the tank. Ended up needing almost $700 in work to even pass NYS inspection. Never again!!

I would not even do 1 starThey should be charged with criminal intent to harm a minor or CPSMy son in law and 17 year old grandson went to look at a specific car It was soldThey allowed my grandson to test drive this trashSo they purchased a 20O7 ChryslerZack test drive and drive 2 hours back home to NYZack noticed their was tape over something in dashboard Yes it was check engine lightThey got home , went to mechanicOf course mechanic put on lift , the entire undercarriage frame was totally rusted out, frame was bentIF my grandson hit something , the car could have crumbled and killed himThe mechanic deemed it not drivableand totaledPlus if frame wasn t broken , it would have needed 3000 worth of workSo the owner said bring it backWould you have driven a car deemed totaled 2.5 hoursI spoke to Vermont DMV they don t find anything criminalThe state of Vermont is awfulI am going to BBB as well as Attorney GeneralI should have trusted my gutI wish I could post the pics
