Absolutely a great little truck stop. The restaurant has the best food. The burgers are so delicious, as was the pot roast, coleslaw, onion rings and french fries. Don't forget dessert. So many things to choose from. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back when in the area.

This place is the best. From their Homemade Bread making my Turkey Club the best, to the Maple Syrup that makes their FAMOUS Maple Pie so yummy. @ Easter I found a new love of Reese Pb Pie this is a game changer and my new favorite

This review is for food service portion of store. The young ladies taking orders and seating people were very friendly and helpful.I have been coming to P&H truck stop most of my life. I haven t been back in about 6 years. Stopped to get breakfast to go. The quality of food here has dramatically declined. The veggie omelet had canned mushroom. None of the veggies were cooked. Mostly tomatoes. More veggie fill than egg. No flavor other than tomatoes. The home fries seem store bought and deep fried. They said they cook them on grill but they had the look and crunch of being deep fried. (Used to be homemade). Basically tasted like crunchy grease. The maple bread was light and fluffy but no hint of maple at all. The raisin toast is basically a cinnamon roll in a loaf. ( should disclose this). Very sweet and tasted like pure sugar. Was expecting bread with raisins in it not a cinnamon roll. Overall the quality and flavor of food is very poor. This makes me very sad as I loved going to have breakfast here.

Drove an hour to meet friends from an hour the other way. Met the large lunch crowd on its way out! Had soup, sandwiches, coffee and spent an hour catching up. Maybe a third of the tables were busy. Servers were friendly and helpful, making sure we didn't feel rushed, topping up the coffee, and talking us into one of their fantastic desserts. Clean, bright dining room, wide menu (breakfast until 11 am), open kitchen out front. We may make this a regular thing.

Stopped in on my way back to PA, and got an order to go, to eat in my truck later. They forgot my pie, never gave me silverware, and the front desk lady was rude. I'll never go back. Food is very very mediocre at best. The sad thing is they only had 1 customer in the restaurant. The waitresses were just all hanging out and talking to each other, and not interested in my order.Dont waste your time, eat elsewhere!

Great food and friendly staff. Good marked truck parking and fuel. Old-school truck stops are few and far between now-a-days.

Arghhhhhh! In my 30 years of going to my place in VT, I have always heard about the food at this place and never tried it, until September 2023. We waited in line for almost an hour as the wait staff were seating people at their pace, despite the dining room being empty and a line of people wanting to be seated for dinner. The two waitresses were taking care of (at most) three tables (on average two tables with just two diners and one with four diners). After 45 minutes, we left; hungry. I'll never experience what the locals used to say about the P&H home cooked food, because I won't take a chance and go back.

We have property in the area. Pretty much every trip has a stop here. No frills. Just a clean establishment with a good diner and a lot of made-in-house baked goods, pre-made sandwiches, and other typical gas station stuff.

Big parking, small convenience store and really great diner! All food was delicious and bread so fresh! We even ordered 2 soups to go :) And you can buy fresh muffins and bread from their bakery.

This past Tuesday evening after stopping in for dinner and having traveled nearly 600 miles that day, I chose to settle in and nap for a few hours. Traveling alone as a middle aged female I parked near the employees vehicles under the street light where I felt safer and out of the way of the big rigs. Mind you that this is not the first time I've done this at p&h though apparently it will be the last. As I settled in and was reviewing my Atlas 2 state police troopers surprised me. They asked if I had been approached by anyone from inside the building, I hadn't. I was then told to leave the premises. I don't know why. I was doing nothing wrong. Later I called and spoke with Heidi the manager who put me off to a man named Craig who stated that drug deals are a problem there and because of where I was parked he didn't want one of his employees shot! In 40 plus years of patronizing p&h that's the last timei find the treatment I received at this truck stop appalling!.

We went in October - WOW! such good food - hardy, generous portions; great friendly service - and each table has a note that Truckers get priority service since they are working (and delivering our goods) - totally love that attitude; but you got to have the good food to back it up - and they do!

Great food, comfort and otherwise. They took a downturn during and post COVID. Food is still good to great, however cut hours, the lack of home made bread slicing, and rice pudding availability makes it 4 instead of 5 stars.

Food here was great. Just expect the service to be a little slow as they don't have as many servers. That doesn't mean the service is bad. It just means that if the place is full because the food is so good, expect to wait a little while.

We stopped here to try and get lunch. We were on our way back home to CT from visiting family in Holland VT. But because we had our bearded dragon with us, we could not stay and have lunch. They said Bob (beaded dragon) could not stay, so we had to leave. We could not leave Bob in a cold truck while we ate lunch. This was the first place that has ever said we could not have Bob inside. He travels with us always. We will not be going back to this place ever.

What a terrible experience. We sat down and waited 35 minutes to get waited on. After discussing with my wife how much longer we wanted wait, we decided to get up and leave . Over the years I would stop while traveling and get a great meal, but 10/6/23 we couldn't even get waited on. Would not recommend to anyone else.

Spent a few days here... what's not to love about this truck stop..The food is great, fresh bakery with a huge variety of pies, bownies, cookies, breads..Dinner was awesome, have the fried haddock and fries... assortment of meals in the cooler that were very well priced and all fresh and tasty.Private showers upstairs for drivers and a huge parking lot surrounded by trees with clean fresh air. Awesome to walk around. The staff was great, welcoming, and the embodiment of true customer service... they loved my "service" dog Marco... always a smile when we walked in...

Famous for its pies! Huge selection of delicious pies to add to your lunch: apple, strawberry rhubarb, blueberry, you name it. Clean restrooms. Brand new pay at the pump covered gas and diesel. About the only full service rest stop in this section of I91.

We have been coming here for years. Stop here and pick up their Cinnamon raisin bread, it s fantastic. They also have great desserts. There s a restaurant, the food and service is always great. If you re in the area or driving through add P&H Truckstop as your destination.

Due to schedule conflicts I was here on two different nights back to back. Hedi was amazing. Went far above and beyond to help me get a hot plate. Her customer service is amazing. Would definitely comeback here. Good food. Great service.
