AMAZING location and fantastic service. Loved the coffee and healthy food. Wonderful location for any meal and had wonderful young ladies that always had a cherry face. Highly recommend a salad or even the smoothies! I got a strawberry maple one and it tasted more like ice cream than anything else.Dietary restrictions: I am gluten free and they offered a plethora of options for us gluten free gals

Athena catered the food for our rustic wedding and we were blown away. We were looking for a fresh spread with something for everyone. We received an abundance of delicious gyros, lemon potatoes, lasagna, salad, wraps, dessert platters, and fresh strawberries galore! Everything was fantastic, it was the perfect match for our State Park wedding on the shore of Lake Elmore. We had tons of leftovers; we were so sad when they were gone. So glad I found Green Goddess Cafe. Absolutely top notch.

They advertise REALLY. GOOD. FOOD. and it's true. The Green Goddess is located in the historic heart of downtown Stowe. After a walk through town I decided to stop in and have lunch. The setting is a rustic, somewhat dark cafe which sets the tone for a relaxing break. Order the Hippea Chick! It's bursting with freshness and flavor. It's so filling that it could be shared by two.

Food was really good. Had the green goddess grilled cheese sandwich and a Mediterranean bowl. My husband had the Tex-Mex bowl.My friends had the same order however they ordered the Tex-Mex bowl without pork, chicken instead because they religious don t eat pork.We had to send the bowl back twice because the first time it had pork only. The second time they clearly added the chicken with attempts to remove the pork by hand. Except we saw remnants of the pork in the bowl. Then the third time, she still saw a couple of pieces of pork! They gave up and just stopped eating the bowl and complaining. How frustrating! Luckily no allergies, just religious beliefs but what if she was deathly allergic!? Absolutely unacceptable. It s so unfortunate because the food is actually very tasty here. The chefs/kitchen staff should be reprimanded to save themselves from a serious lawsuit if a serious allergic reaction were to happen to someone in the future.

A couple of things up front, one, (which I'm sure would have been fixed had we asked, so I can't blame the restaurant, but we were starving and didn't want to wait anymore) the over easy eggs were over hard and cold, the side of sausage was cold, and the poached eggs were over hard as well. Two, the price of sides is so not worth it, $5 for two sausage links? $7.25 for a side of cheesy fries? The rest of the food, though pricey--but for Stowe, probably about normal--was good. Pancakes were huge and thick, eggs bene (besides the above) was good, there was definitely an eclectic blend of old dishes with new twists, which is always fun, and coffee was hot.I probably wouldn't go again for a sit down meal as we paid $87 for four people, which any way you cut it, is a lot for breakfast, especially considering the first two points. The cashier was friendly, the place seemed pretty busy, especially for takeout, so maybe our experience was a one off, and you experience may be better.

I do not understand why a cafe named green goddess does not have green goddess dressing but who knows lol. Had the grilled chicken salad. It was really good. Fresh. And HUGE. Definitely recommend.

Quaint little place . Food was good .we were a group of six. Service was fairly quick also. ( love when that happens)Gazpacho soup was a little disappointing. It was more like a salsa . But i would definitely go back next time in area.!Vegetarian options: They have huge Salads and i did notice a vegetarian wrap with tofu on menu.

I needed to pull together a catered lunch for a meeting with 72 people - and only had 48 hours to do it. The team at Green Goddess took customer service to a whole new level! From the staff person who took my initial frantic call, to the owner reaching out to me despite a weather induced power failure, to the delivery person who couldn't have been more helpful!!! That team came together so quickly and provided the most delicious lunch for my group! Will definitely use them for future catering needs!

I was staying in the area for a few days, and once I discovered this place, I ate most of my meals here. Absolutely delicious food; I got the Country Breakfast a few times and some sandwiches at lunch. Everything was outstandingly prepared with fresh local ingredients. The staff is super friendly and seem to really enjoy being there. Also, this place has a clear commitment to employing, serving and welcoming every kind of human. Seriously, more diversity here than anywhere I've seen around Vermont. Excellent cafe! Great business!

Stopped in here for lunch last week.Food: 4/5We got a lavender lemonade, which was sweet and tasty. For food, we got the Mediterranean salad w/ falafel and a chicken parm sandwich. The salad was great, with a nice tzatziki, and a very generous portion. The sandwich was okay, but not our favorite. Definitely recommend the salads over the sandwich offerings.Service: 5/5Quick and got order correct.Vibe: 4/5Casual interior, which is a good place for a quick or low key meal. Plenty of seating.

So I've eaten at this place several times and I love their food options. Portions are more than enough and I always have leftovers. The flavors in the food are a wonderful combination. Being from the south, I would not say that the customer service of the servers is always what I'm used to, but I'm not in the south right now either! If you're from up here and you're accustomed to it, I'm sure you'll give it a five star! Definitely worth stopping by.

Stop here if you re in Stowe and you want a deli sandwich. BLAT wrap was perfect. My wife had the bird and berry Turkey sandwich and she loved it. Potato salad as a side reminded me of my grandma s- as good as it gets. Great place!

I brought my mom here for her 80th birthday lunch. She had the Gyro with roasted lamb and I had the pork carnitas wrap and both where super delicious ! Oh and we shared a lemon blueberry bar that was super yummy! It was a great place to be able to sit and have a great conversation without it being loud. Would definitely recommend this Cafe!

Worst thing I have experienced since I discovered how insufferable Rachel Ziegler is! Waited 30 min because the lady taking orders doesn t bother to inform clients about the wait time when they switch from bfast to lunch. Bonus the food is as blend as it gets!!!!!As the venue seems to misunderstand the issue let me put it bluntly: the wait time can be normal and I appreciate that. Waiting when seeing multiple people who arrived after me being served big orders is just straight up incompetent priority management. Just own it, you had a bad day!!!!TIP: communicate verbally (I get human interactions may be hard for the Gen Z, but a brick and mortar business requests that) and prioritize better. You are welcome for the free advise!

This sandwich was$14.53. $9.75 "base price", +$3.00 up-charge for GF bread (a dollar higher than any place in the country,) +.50 Credit card fee, +10% meals fee. Bringing my total for this small, dry sandwich to $14.53. These are NYC prices. Highway robbery. This kind of thing is insulting.
