I moved from Los Angeles to South Royalton and was lucky to find an honest and amazing mechanic in Scott. He helped me take care of my car through the long winters and normal wear and tear or perform state inspections. Never tried to upsell anything I didn t need and his prices are shockingly good. Overall, his skills and service are above and beyond what most mechanics offer. In short, go to Scott if you want to take care of your car and want excellent services.

Scott knows his stuff. Warranty had expired on my car. At $75 an hour, he does great work and got my van and car back on the road with little delay. Nice guy and brings you right into his work areas to look at the car if you want. Waiting for a call back to have a new blower put in my car right now.

I found Ideal Performance to be very friendly and very helpful. The best place to have your recreational toys serviced . Reading one of the above comments one needs to realize electronics can work one minute & fail the next-& nothing to do with installing a battery- I find Scott to give Excellent service...

Ideal Performance is my go to place for repairs. They are trustworthy, reliable, and do great work. And if there's something they can't do for some reason, they will send you to the right person to get the job done. I highly recommend IP for your vehicle's service needs.

Needed a state inspection, made an appointment, and everything went well. He pointed us to a parts seller where we bought new bulbs and got them installed instantly.

Absolutely awful. Brought my car in for a simple service (new battery) and they returned a car in worse shape than before. My car now has a ton of electrical issues and the owner admitted to moving stuff around and then denies he could not have messed up a simple procedure, when these problems never happened before he touched the vehicle. On top of that, he then refused to fix my car. I will never again go to anyone so incompetent. I urge anyone thinking of going there to run far, far away.

Excellent service...I just showed up and they helped me quickly and with a smile on their faces! Some of the nicest people I know, and they really know how to take care of an engine. I would recommend this place to everyone from my closest friend to a complete stranger stuck on the road!

They were very friendly and very helpful. They explained what was going on, and what they were doing, and it didn't take very long at all. It was relatively inexpensive for what was done, and I'm just so glad to have found a local place where I could take the car to get it looked at to put my mind at ease.

I was a professional auto tech for 30 years,with 13 ASE certifications. Not to mention numerous other schools. Scot is A+. I know the difference between real techs and parts changers. You can trust him.

Took a 4 stroke dirt bike it took over a week and a half to get back never picked up phone when I had called and it was suppose to be fully serviced and running right got my girlfriend picked up the dirt bike and it would run and not idle then when I thought it just might be the carb getting clogged agin with old gas maybe run it but then it started pouring out gas I asked my nieces boyfriend that s been riding bikes since he was five he had said the rubber lines inside the carb is clogged so I took a look and it doesn t even appear that it was tooken off this guy will not call you back takes a long time now I m bringing it to my friends in Deerfield to have it running and serviced correctly hopefully he doesn t say this guy never did anything
