Very impressed with the customer service from Vermont Tire & Service. Looked at my son's vehicle who attends college in VT and did not charge for the time they spent looking at it. As a parent of an out-of-state college student, I HIGHLY recommend them! It is nice to see there are still honest businesses out there!Thank you!

Do not go there. I got my winter studs put on and decided it s that time of the year to get the all-seasons on. Went to Costco where I bought the all season tires and was told my passenger rear wheel one of the nuts was stripped/ threaded. Could not get my all seasons on. VT Tire also did my oil change so who knows if they also messed that up too. Now keep in mind I had not brought my car else where during that time period no other work needed to be done. Highly recommend avoiding this place because it will just cause you to burn a hole in your wallet. Very disappointing and was want to support a local business.Correction/ update mechanic elsewhere stated the nut had been over torqued. Either way still not a positive result and had to go around town twice to get my all seasons put on.

I called 10 days ahead to make my appointment for spark plugs, ignition coils, brake pads n rotors, oil change, and an inspection. All of those parts I have provided, just needed the labor done. I got a call 2 hours after they opened telling me that they just found my keys but had to move forward with other cars cause they couldn t find my key. I called back 4 hours later to check to see if I could pick up my car by the end of their work day. I was left on hold for 20+ minutes just for them to tell me that they are now just pulling my car in and that they d start working on it (this is 3 hours before they close). They also quoted me 3-4 hours to change the spark plugs on a Toyota Camry, I m no mechanic but that is absolutely ridiculous. I made the decision of canceling everything cause I need transportation for work and could not wait another day (I was guaranteed that it would be done the same day). The guys that work there are cool but I do not recommend this place.

We are new to Vermont and Vermont tire and service helped us with our winter tire needs. Everyone was kind and patient and the no appointment but 1st come 1ST serve option was so helpful!! We were missing a part they did not carry and put us in touch with a local business that finished the job. We will definitely go back!

Car care and customer service are both great. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Not sure how many years I have gone to VT Tire, let s just say I m a lot older now and they are still my go-to.

First time at the shop. No appointments, walk ins only. You can either wait (it may take as long as 2h sometimes) or drop your car off and pick it up later.One of my tires was losing pressure every 2 or 3 days. They found the problem that another garage missed. A tiny nail on the tire s shoulder. Thanks guys!

I was on my way to a golf tournament, I hit a pot hole and I blew my front tire. I was lucky enough to roll into Vermont Tire and service! They quickly got me setup with two new tires, drove me to my golf tournament (made my tee time!) and had the car waiting for me when I finished my round! Incredible service and highly recommended!

My wife and I brought her BMW in to get a plug in the drivers rear tire on Friday because of a slow leak. The advisor said the leak was on the inner sidewall of the tire, not on the tread, making it unrepairable. He advised the only thing they could do was replace all four tires, seeing as her car is AWD. We declined the four new tires to seek a second opinion. We turned to the advice of the shop foreman at a larger dealer in Burlington. As it turns out - the leak was located on the tire tread (NOT the side wall), and was therefore safe to repair/plug. VT Tire lied to us just to try and up-sell four new tires. They also did not give us a repair order on the work they did perform, with no notes from the tech. I m assuming it s a lot easier to cover your lies with no paper trail. Safe to say I will never do business here & would advice anyone who does to seek a second opinion.

Overall customer service was great, the guy at the counter was nice and my tires were swapped quickly. It was an easy process.However, I didn t look into nor compared prices to other tire services and left paying about $156 . I only needed to swap out my tires. Not sure if that s the price now a days but I used to get it done for $70-85 for all 4. so I left feeling like I spent a ridiculous amount of unnecessary money. *shrug*

Vermont Tire and Service made my day today. Went to ask for help with a leaky rear tire. Thirty minutes later I had a fixed tire and the price they charged me was more than fair. This was my third visit to them and every time the service exceeded my expectations. Great place, great staff. Thank you!!!

Awesome guys to work with. Being a technician I hate bringing my car to others for work but unfortunately don t have a machine to mount tires. Techs were knowledgeable and were able to spot a bend in a wheel. I ordered the tires ahead of time and showed up 2 hours before my appointment as requested, they got me in for new tires and an alignment. All in 3 hours.Would definitely recommend them whether you re knowledgeable or not with cars.

A few weeks ago I gave them 5 stars, changed over 37 tires on my Jeep for a great price. This week brought my wife s care to change out her winter tires and they added a fee for bringing your own tires in vs buying new from them. The total was over double the cost of them doing the same job with oversized tires on my Jeep a few weeks ago. Took my wife s care elsewhere and paid less than half of what it was going to cost me.

I ve had my trusted car mechanic for 20 years but always been searching for the right tire shop. I ve had many less than stellar experiences along the way but that may have finally changed! I had 20% off on a set of tires thru GoodYear having them shipped to a shop but all the options were chain type spots except VT Tire so went with them. I messaged with my plan and they instead offered a much better set of tires, for the same (supposedly) discounted Goodyear price - AND the alignment was included thru the shop as well as tire rotations which was obviously a way better deal so went with that. I blocked out 2-3 hours for the whole deal and they had me out in less than two hours, at the quoted price and having answered questions and explained everything with one tech saying they are heard more to educate. Very happy with my choice and would highly recommend going straight to these guys!

I needed tires for winter I called Vermont tire .they got me tires I needed .David C helped me. He ordered them I came in .the wait wasn't long .they put tires on fast an the price was great .i will go back again .thanks . I had gone to another tire store they wanted to charge me 950.00 dollars. No deal .Vermont tire is the place to go for tires .buying more tires again this year .already have them ordered best place to go for tires

I was put on a 3-wk waiting list for a tire changeover with my regular mechanic, and VT Tire was able to take care of it the day after I called them. With that first-come- first-serve MO, I dunno how they don't fall behind every day... but it obviously works cause they've done it that way forever. Super- happy to be ready for the winter roads!

Great customer service!Our utility explorer is used in emergent transport services running around the clock and can t be down long. The staff at Vermont tire took this in account and worked diligently around our schedule to get us back on the road. Will definitely be using them again!

came in to get my tires switch over but after waiting for 2 hours they told me they have to charge me $40 each tire because i didn t buy the tires from them! so it would be $160 just for switching the tires, then $70 to do the oil change! what a rip off.. it would be nice to know these info before they made you wait for several hours! would never ever go back ever again!

Our camper tire blew due to dry rot, after changing to the spare. We called David Claypool who sourced 4 new tires. The next morning I dropped the camper and David and the staff could not be nicer. We were back camping after a four hour interruption. They are just awesome!!

I love these guys! Had a brake job done in January 2021 and they started squeaking again in June 2022--they adjusted them, no charge. Service like this is rare nowadays. Solid company! Highly recommend--especially for tires (three vehicles worth)--they take your budget into account and are willing to work with you! Quality products. Thanks again!

I m from out of town & had a tire emergency while trying to get home in CT. I initially spoke with Perry, who walked me through the process of getting it fixed. He was very patient, kind & professional. My tire was fixed without an appt, at a very reasonable cost & I was able to get back on the road & get home safe & sound. This is the best place in New England for any tire work! Hope you re lucky enough to deal with Perry!

We have been customers for a very long time. This was not a good experience. We made an appointment on a Friday for four new tires to be installed the following Monday. Initially the salesman said they did not have the tires we wanted and then said that there were eight in stock. We dropped the car off in Sunday using the key drop. We called Monday morning to confirm the work and we were told it was all set. We heard nothing back so we called late afternoon to confirm that the car was ready for pickup. After being on hold for a long time we were told that they did not have the tires we wanted but that the work could be done the next day. We requested that it be done in the morning so we could get the car at noon. Again no call from the shop. We called at noon and were told that the car was in the shop but all installers had gone to lunch and it would be ready at 1:30. This was not good service especially considering the cost of the tires we bought.

Quick to get me a quote from the online form, tires were in stock, shuttle service was excellent and got me where I needed to go. I did need to get there before they opened and wait in line a bit to grab a spot for that day, but that was no problem for me. Monday afternoon I put in for a quote-Wednesday afternoon tires were on and I am ready for snow season driving. These guys are working hard to get those winter tires on and they do a great job! Highly recommend.

We were traveling through and needed to check a tire that was losing air. They discovered that the wheel was cracked and were able to get it welded up and get us back on the road quickly. They really went out of their way with exceptional service. Caleb and the manager were VERY helpful.

I had a tire problem recently while visiting family in Burlington Vt from Canada. Went to two other stores first as did not know where to go in the area. As the Tire Warehouse showed up as being very close to our Hotel I tried them first . Don't go there!!!! Enough said !! I was told to try Vermont Tire at the next shop I found and boy was I glad I found their location.They are very professional and helpful people . Wonderful place to wait and feel safe and in good hands . Price was fair ,good choice of tires to choose from and made feel like family by the staff. I would say the best service I have had when away from home and would recommend this store to anyone who wants to receive good old fashioned service PLUS !!Well done folks and thanks . Great to meet you !

I had a surprisingly excellent experience working with Vermont Tire and Service. Not only did they fit me in very last minute, they were extremely courteous, competent and helpful. These guys are so busy it was crazy but they still took the time to keep me informed and make sure I was all set. The alignment was dead on and the tire balance feels smooth!I will plan to be back!

Excellent service. Was able to order and have tires delivered same day. Took less than an hour after I dropped wheels off to complete. Very pleased and will come back again.
