Twisted Wrench has been amazing for me. They're always quick to respond to appointment requests and are friendly and inviting throughout the process. For a seemingly smaller shop they do an amazing job. Even on short notice they find ways to fit your appointment in. I emailed them in the morning about my brakes needing replacement and less than an hour later they responded with an appointment time the next day. Obviously that won't always be the case, but it's a great indicator of their dedication to great service.

The team at Twisted Wrench are fantastic. A friend of mine recommended them to us and they have been wonderful to work with. It s rare to find a mechanic that checks in with you a few days after the work to make sure everything goes well and they do that. Their pricing is great for services needed and they also have great pricing on tires! So I bought a used car here when Covid was just starting to jack prices up. They did not follow suite. Instead I got a great car at a very fair price and they ve stood behind that car for years now. All of the repairs they ve done have been solid and at an extremely reasonable price. They stand behind their work and they make Burlington feel like a small town that takes care of you. Twisted Wrench is the mechanic shop your grandfather would go to.

My first time taking my beloved Lexus to Twisted Wrench. Everything seems to have gone very well. They properly diagnosed an AC issue. Like other reviewers state, the cost was very reasonable. They got me in quick and had the car done when they said it would be done. Just wanted to send a big thank you to these kind and professional folks. Much appreciated- especially my now cool dog Inga! I wouldn't trust these people. Brought my car in for a diagnosis only and they removed parts without me approving it first. And they didn't even tell me about it when I picked it up. Also wanted $1100 for a $500 part that took an hour to install.

Fairly priced, efficient labor and great customer service. I ve been going there for 4 or 5 years now and not once have they tried to do more work on my car than necessary. I never feel like I have to haggle. It s just bring my car in, the work that is needed is done, and I m out. I even live in Burlington now and still make the drive because I know it s a fair and effective place for my car.

Not a guy to write reviews frequently but Twisted Wrench will be an exception!Blew out a spark plug on my car in Waterbury, all things considered a frustrating repair for mechanics as it required retapping the spark plug threading (a fairly tedious process). Not only did the shop answer every question that I had regarding my repair, they had it done less than two days after dropping it off, which was about a full-week earlier than I was expecting it. Every single person that I talked to made the usually painful experience of fixing a car engine, much, much easier.While I'm sure there are many great mechanics in the area - I would strongly recommend this one to anyone who's in the market.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection

I haven t used them for service but am so appreciative of the time they took to give me info about a used car I was considering buying. I would be a customer here in an instant if I needed anything. They seem honest and knowledgeable and like an excellent business with fantastic practices.

I continue to be impressed by the excellent service I have received at Twisted Wrench, not only the mechanical service but the customer service as well. I recently scheduled a tire change over and state inspection. On the day of the appointment, I could not find the registration for the vehicle. I kept the appointment so the tires could be changed and I expected to have to reschedule the inspection, but Jenna said the registration was not a problem and that she would take care of it and get the inspection done. Twisted Wrench is my go to place. Only twice (out of necessity) in past several years have I brought my car someplace else. Both times I had the car at TW within days to get the job done right. My 2010 Subaru forester was smoking and leaking fluids. I brought it to 2 mechanics before them who failed to diagnose and repair properly. I chose twisted wrench based on reviews and specializing in subarus. They held up to the great reviews. The service was excellent all around. I'm so grateful that my car is fixed and safe to drive. I'll be bringing my car in to the Twisted Wrench from now on!!!

The folks at Twisted Wrench are fantastic. They are easy to talk to, incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely want to help at an affordable rate. I recommend their services to everyone in the Burlington area. I don't look forward to having issues with my vehicle, but I do look forward to going back to Twisted Wrench. 10/10.

My Honda CRV was making scraping noises so I made an appointment to have it checked out. Twisted Wrench has been taking care of my car since 2009 and I have always been happy with their work. Today was no different. I was given a loaner car for the day and was kept up to date on the state of my car. In the end parts of the muffler system were welding back together. I was so relieved that it didn't cost an arm and a leg. I will continue bringing my car to Twisted Wrench for any kind of service. They are the best!Service: Auto exhaust system repair

The team at Twisted Wrench is always great - I wasn't sure what the issue was and they found it. They let you know what they find, suggest a repair/service to fix the issue, and then get it taken care of. Twisted Wrench has become our local mechanic shop of choice! We own a Subaru and because they specialize in Subaru's...well...I'll trust an expert for that service any day. Just not a dealership. Our experience with dealerships have been less than wonderful. However, the service from Twisted Wrench has been amazing. Not only do they fix the car and give us no reason to believe that there will be any 'new' issue or unforeseen issues come up, they stand behind their work. Eric has been amazing to deal with when it comes to repairs and regular maintenance on our vehicle. We get reminders, we get cash off, and we get service from a mechanic that we didn't think was possible in this business. I've been going here for probably around 5 years at this point, and I've brought multiple cars here in that time. I care a ton about my cars, and it's clear that the folks at Twisted Wrench do too. Always a clear, honest explanation of what's going on, a quick and transparent quote of what the costs will be, and incredible communication. Highly recommend this shop! They've done right by me many times.

Great people, and excellent service! I had to drop my husband's car due to a starting issue, and they were so kind and pleasant, and even squeezed the car in earlier than expected! Love these folks!

Twisted Wrench has always been very straight forward with me and have done great work on my car. When I ask for quotes, they will have the latest quote sent to me in minutes. They communicate via text, email, and phone calls; super accommodating for someone like me who works the same business hours and cannot always drop what I'm doing to take their calls. I highly recommend them.

Time and time again, Eric and the team remind me of what perfect customer service looks and feels like. They bend over backwards to make me comfortable, offering me a loaner car, working around my crazy schedule, taking the time to answer my endless questions and sending follow-ups to ensure everything is good with the service I received. I sold the Subaru and purchased from a different automaker and still come to Twisted Wrench. Can't imagine a better shop!Service: Engine repair

I went in for my state inspection, which was already past due and I needed some work done to pass. Twisted wrench was super awesome about squeezing me in on short notice. Dropped my car off in the morning, I borrowed a loaner over night, and had my car back before noon the next day. I asked and received quotes for pricing prior to the work, I researched pricing and labor, their prices were very agreeable. Super friendly and polite staff. 10/10 will be back.

I love the people at Twisted Wrench! They are always very kind and do a great job. I have been bringing my Subaru to them for the last year and half. I am now in the market for a new vehicle and I brought it in for a check. They were very thorough and explained everything they found in detail. Very happy with their service!

I have been a customer at Twisted Wrench for the last 15 years and I would not consider taking my car to any other service facility. Eric and his staff are just the best. They are clear in explaining whatever service is needed, provide alternatives when there are different ways to solve problems and are just good people to work with. I am completely satisfied with the service I receive from Twisted Wrench and will continue to trust my car's maintenance to them in the future. I would add that I also purchased my current vehicle thru Twisted Wrench and it has proved to be as reliable as their automotive services.

UPDATED 7/2020:I can't say enough about this place. There aren't a lot of reliable mechanics out there, but these folks really care about you and your budget. I've been coming here for over 2 years and they've tackled some big jobs during that time. Eric is really understanding about financial issues, and I'm almost always given options. What is needed can be separated from lower priority issues when money is tight. I know they can be a bit more costly than other places, but wouldn't you rather the job is done right?? Or at all? I've had too many rip-offs (even at dealers!) so I'm going to keep coming to Twisted Wrench. Michelle at the front desk has always been very courteous and understanding. I finally decided to update my review after a job they are doing now, where a huge fire hazard was found. I didn't feel comfortable driving out of there, and neither did the team. When I had difficulty finding a ride, they were able to set me up with a temporary vehicle! It was so kind and unexpected, and I'm glad they didn't charge extra because service this great is priceless!!Original review from ~2 years ago was after having issues getting in contact with the team, it must've been a fluke because they keep in touch well nowadays :)

Dented my car with their lift, missing the correct lift point by a foot. I verified that this was a rookie mistake with several other mechanics and I even knew that full frame vehicles are picked up by their lift points and not rocker panels. Owner stood by his employee s mistake. Im very disappointed. They also did not tell me that they damaged it and let me pick it up that way. They forgave my bill, I guess, but now I have to convince them with litigation to do the right thing and have to go around with a yucky dent and lots of chipped paint.

My wife and I have been taking our cars to Twisted Wrench for the past 6 years now. We are more than pleased with quality of service, the friendliness of staff, and the direct approach to discussing issues with our cars. While most dealership shops are looking for things to bill you for and hold your car to 'fix', we have never had this issue with TW and would recommend them to all of our friends and family.

I'm a new customer and have recently been in for a few repairs including a wheel bearing and replacement of transmission cooling pipes. So far I have found the staff at Twisted Wrench to be honest, knowledgeable, and friendly! It's been easy to get my vehicle scheduled in a timely fashion. Looking forward to more great service!

I have been taking our Honda s and Subaru s to Twisted Wrench for maintenace and repairs for over a decade. I have never once been disappointed with their service. They are friendly, honest, knowledgeable, and will do everything possible to provide the best solution for my wallet and not theirs. As long as I drive cars, they will always have my business.
