This motel consists of two buildings. The front building has the nicer rooms. The back building almost looks like a different, far less maintained motel. Room smelled awful. Clearly there have been previous guests that ignored the no smoking rule, leaving that stale, cheap motel odor that saturated my clothes. Carpet and upholstery were stained. Furniture looks like it's been here since the early 80s. At least the bathroom was clean. I've stayed at worse places, but overall a depressing room to sleep in.

Best place ever to stay if you're in the area. Rooms were immaculate! Quiet clean grounds and pool with amazing staff - above and beyond and very helpful in suggesting great local places to eat. Beautiful scenic yards with chairs and picnic tables. Rooms were spacious with lots of towels, great TV channel selection, mini fridge, microwave, coffee/pot in rooms, hair dryer, great a/c that wasn't noisy. Beautiful large windows in rooms. Adjoining rooms was great for families. Dutch Mill next door was also great food for breakfast and friendly staff. Would highly recommend. Thanks for the great stay. We'll definitely be back!

I love this place. I have been twice now, both times to attend a parent's weekend in Burlington. Ron, at the desk, is so nice, and patient, and accommodating. Lisa is lovely and we had a nice chat about college-age children. The place itself is well maintained and meticulously clean. I have only stayed in the front rooms so far but there are others with a pool view. The shower has great water pressure - a big plus in my book! It is just right. It is neither fancy nor kitschy, but a clean and pleasant place that I recommend most highly.

This is the nicest, cleanest, best maintained hotel in this class that I have ever stayed in -- and I stay in hotels about five months a year. I am picky, yet I cannot find a single thing I would fix or improve. Large rooms. Nice windows. Very fast wifi. Absolutely clean everywhere, in the rooms and outside. The grounds are lovely with shady and sunny spots -- and there are great chairs to sit in. The AC works and isn't noisy. The pool is beautiful and clean. A bazillion TV stations. Reading lights. Plentiful towels in the room and at the pool. Ice in bags.

We had a lovely, clean and comfortable room. The owner have us a very reasonable rate for great accommodation. I'd have posted more photos, but my hubby got us "settled in" before I could snap them, so the spotless bathroom will have to do!

We booked this room because it was on our way from one place to another and within budget. To our surprise, it was so much more than just a roadside motel. It was very clean and the decor was remarkably well kept. The appointment of toiletries was more on par with a cozy B&B. I'd definitely stay here again!

The place was perfect. The Rooms are a good size, clean, there is free coffee, wifi, mini fridge, microwave, TV with nice channel selection. The bathroom was fully stocked with plenty of towels and wash clothes. There is an ice machine and pool! The staff was super nice. There is a city bus stop just about a block down the road.

A quaint, classic 1950s motor court motel. Rooms are small but very clean. Breakfast is included but only a coffee and English muffin. They should consider a slightly higher rate for a full breakfast. The rate was substantially less than the big boys and definitely a place with character. Overall, we were very pleased with the experience. A little like traveling back in time.

It's a very well kept and clean motel and all the staff was really nice. Our room had a microwave and mini refrigerator. We also got coupons for continental breakfast at the nearby Dutch Mill restaurant. Beware that you'll be sorely tempted to order more from their menu. There were picnic tables in the back area where we had a few meals. The pool was a big plus.

1st time in Vermont. I read the previous reviews...this place did not disappoint! Unbelievably clean...yes, the interior is dated, but it was just so well maintained. It really showed ownership/ management pride. And it actually reminded me of my childhood home. Ron was sooo nice. I would absolutely stay here again, and I recommend. Also, walking distance to a great restaurant. Thank you T-Bird!

This place was amazing!!!! The guy at the front desk(I'm prettysure he was the owner) was so nice, room was immaculate, there were qtips in the bathroom along with other usual toiletries and the room had fresh flowers in it. I know the place was pretty full while we were there but we never heard another person. It is away from fast food and grocery stores but then again, that's probably why it was so quiet! The location was stellar for what we were in town to do.TLDR: 10/10. Would stay again.

Cute place, easy location for quick drives anywhere in Shelburne or Burlington and great staff. Room was clean, I actually kind of liked the shampoo and conditioner, complimentary, in-room coffee was much appreciated (and having a fridge meant we got to pick up milk from a farm stand!) fresh flowers was an amazing and charming touch, the AC worked well and if you can get out the door before 10am, you get a complimentary continental breakfast from the Mill next door - but only go to that restaurant for that reason. I'll certainly stay here again.

Room was very clean and well maintained. The grounds were quiet, and there were tables and chairs around to go sit outside.Ron at the front desk was friendly and welcoming! I would stay here again.

Ask for room in back building if available. More private & removed from highway noise. Clean, well maintained. Old fashioned motel with parking at door to your room. Outdoor pool available. Breakfast not offered at motel but they give you breakfast voucher for nearby restaurant.

Along the highway, so there is some noise at night with trucks and cars driving by, but otherwise the experience was wonderful. Staff was unbelievably helpful and kind, and the rooms were quaint and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay while visiting the Burlington area.

Big clean unfancy rooms. Only two pillows and a stiff mattress- not today's cloud experience. Basic tub/shower. Noisy but effective air conditioner. Nice pool area. Friendly staff

They have bent over backwards to help me out with last minute booking literally the same day (I think his name is Ron) he was the nicest guy I think I've ever had to work with and I've traveled around the world. The rooms are exactly like they described and pictures are actually of the rooms like they are not photo shop. The bathrooms are as clean as being just installed I really cant believe how clean the tiles are. You would be wrong to go anywhere else they are the bomb.

Very pleasant staff, clean room, nice pool. Oh, and plenty of towels for what it's worth. It's a great spot to stay no matter if you visiting Burlington, the Shelburne Museum or other local attractions.

I m a Road Warrior and have stayed in lots of Big nationwide Motels/Hotels CHAINS. This is one of the CLEANEST and Well keep places I ve ever stayed at. CLEAN Comfortable rooms. It s run by a Friendly owner. I WILL stay here again. And btw did I mention it s SUPER CLEAN.

This place is fantastic! Reviews said it was very clean. It's immaculate. Pool is wonderful. Try to get a room in the building away from the road (almost no road noise).

Didn't get to stay there, had booked a room for July 2020. I unfortunately had to cancel the room because of the Covid situation, and I just want to share that TBird were very understanding and nice about it. Got my refund in less than two days. I'm making a commitment to visit you again in Vermont as soon as we can, and thanks again for the great service !

Great place. Unbelievably clean... looks like we were the first people to ever stay in our room. Super nice people. Will definitely stay again. Also, great breakfast place next door.

Old school motel. Clean comfortable and suited our needs well. Breakfast is offered at the restaurant with the windmill next door. Good eats there. Would stay again.

This is a wonderful motel. Is it charming and spotless. Lisa, the manager, is as affable as she is kind. It is blast from the past complete with the red T-bird out front. Great people--great place! Cannot wait to come back.

Room has a TV and the beds are comfortable enough. Shower has decent pressure and everything is clean. Plus there is WiFi which is nice.

It was a perfect step back to traditional motel hospitality. The pool in the back was beautiful and the Innkeeper was very helpful. Clean and cool! Would definitely recommend it and will stay again.

I love this place! Wonderful old-fashioned, well-maintained & clean home away from home. Obvious that the owner takes great pride in the property and pays meticulous attention to every detail. Highly recommend and will be back!

Right down the road from Burlington. Breakfast was good, although the free continental one they offer only includes coffee and an English muffin. Service was great and very nice employees.
