Mine is not an easy house to service to say the least. Not only was Portland Glass accurate, honest, and dependable they replaced my 8 foot by 5 foot trapezoid on time. Great service.

Where do I start? In the midst of a messy and expensive home renovation project we found out our windows were crud and needed to be replaced ASAP. On the verge of tears and in fear of winter temperatures and heat literally going out the window , I called Portland Glass and a stressful situation was made seamless and easy. Manager Stacy Wright is a breath of fresh air, and her crew especially Mark and Paul are professional, easy going and personable. The communication throughout the measuring , to ordering to instillation was like nothing I have encountered in years. With most of the world lost in the new way of doing things, this crew is built of respect, and customer relationships being number one. I think they were at my house for a little over a hour to replace 4 windows and they look beautiful. I have two kids and 4 pets. My house was a mess and I was working from home. The crew carried on with zero judgment and with pure professionalism. We were so impressed we requested if they had time to measure our other windows and of course without hesitation and a big smile the guys responded of course ! The crew traveled extra to service my home. I hope they know how big of a difference they made in our life and especially that day!Thank you Rutland Portland Glass Crew.~The Barnum Family.

My wife and I ended up with a broken window in our living room. We got in contact with Shaina Lethbridge and she was able to set us up with an appointment to get measurements for the window in a very timely manor. We got a great price. She was super helpful. Our service technician Brandon Monaco did a great job installing our new window and was very polite. We were very impressed with both Shaina and Brandon. Pleasant experience in repair of my windshield damage. Called ahead and they coordinated with insurance, scheduled a time next day, in and out in 15 minutes. Excellent customer service.

I had a cracked window glass that was 6'x5 or so replaced by Portand Glass. They came out and first inspected the window and provided a quote and told me that they would have to order it and wait a bit. Four weeks later they called and scheduled a install date. Upon arrival after helping me move some furniture they got to work and the new window was installed in less than an hour. Two very nice professional guys.The next day I saw what appeared to be a small crack right behind one of the brad nails holding the trim in. I called Portland Glass and told them the issue. They immediately sent someone out and promptly told me it was urethane and scrapped it off. Whoops, my mistake, but I appreciated them coming out quickly to get the issue resolved.100 percent would use them again, but hopefully I don't have to.

We had a bit of trouble with our new windshield install, my original appt. had to be rescheduled due to the new windshield being broken. However the price and service more than made up for the inconvenience. Thank you Portland Glass.

Fabulous experience with Portland Glass. We had to replace our "out of the box" prefab glass shower (purchased from a different vendor) because the tempered glass spontaneously exploded. Now we know that you should NEVER install these type of showers ---instead you should have showers customized to fit the exact measurements of your floors/walls. Portland Glass came and carefully measured our space, then cut the glass to the exact specifications and installed the enclosure. We could not be happier with the result. Great service, great expertise/skills and a great design. Would use them again in a heartbeat. They get an A++

It took 3 days to get nothing done. I gave measurements for a piece of plastic glass. I called them on the Monday to give measurements and was told it will be ready Is Tuesday 4:00. I told them I will be on Thursday to pick it up and yet it wasn't even done. I know it was just a $53 piece of glass but one would think you would want to make your customers happy and I'm sorry doesn't do it. No excuse never again will I deal with them.

I am not quite sure how this place has a five star rating. They have put me through the most miserable experience. I called back in Jan/feb to have a few screens made for my apartment, and single glass panels replaced and glazed. Took literally months ( one visit went to wrong apt, next visit blown off, third visit finally took measurements but no glass replacement). Finally they came with two screens, both didn t fit and they still charged me. THEY NEVER FOLLOWED UP. No new screen made, NOTHING. I call back about the glass and screens, nothing. Referred to the tech and left about 3 kind messages ( mind you, been kind the entire time, not some raging a-hole). No response. Called again at 930 during open hours, no pickup. After trying to contact corporate and being redirected to the same unresponsive location I called my nearest PG in Burlington (great crew, highly professional). They informed me this location has had major issues, with manager quitting. They said they d send someone from a different region to take care of the panes. Never heard back :/. It s now almost one year later, nothing is fixed.

Portland Glass, Rutland, Vt., manufactured 2 shower doors and 2 custom mirrors for my new bathrooms. Measurements were precise, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable people to work with, delivery and install was on schedule, no delays. Overall a great experience, highly recommend this company.

Within about 45 minutes my windshield was instslled and i was on my way. First time in months it was crydtsl clear! No bug smears either! Reasably priced, extremely fast service from awesome people. A pleasurable experience.

I have a window that leaked the anti fog gas and I called to inquire about pricing for repairs. I explained my situation and the gentleman I spoke to told me to contact the manufacturer about it and I would likely get a replacement for free. These guys could have just had me bring it in and charged me for the repairs but instead they were honest and now I'm getting a free replacement from Harvey windows. These guys saved me over $100 easily and I know where I will go if I have any window repairs needed in the future. Thanks Portland glass.

They are very nice at Portland glass,they could not help me. But they tried.I believe that they can help most people, and would recommend them to all.thanks for trying.after taking to someone else,and finding out there really is a leak,your tech they kept telling there is nothing wrong.they found the leak in the sun roof.with that being said,I have to change my review of Portland Glass,to a not reliable service. I will not recommend you to anyone.you need to train your tech's better.

Employees were great, the work was okay....I noticed when I left the shop, my windshield was filmy. On the inside. Like they had not washed it with cleaner. After I did that a few weeks later, I noticed that the windshield had a spot in it where it was scratched up in a diameter of a dinner plate. When oncoming headlights, or the sunshine hits it a certain way, it's extremely optically blurry. My guess is they probably had a scratched windshield and they tried to buff the scratch out messing up the optics. Are they using "Factory Seconds" windshields?

I had 5 large windows installed, quite satisfied,,,very professional installation,, very tidy and competent, friendly and pleasantglass was cleaned to perfection. Installer was "Joe" and a helper.. a good team.

Cleaned up broken window, replaced window quickly, really good looking job and window was perfectly clean, women in office very nice, friendly and helpful This was 2nd time using them,first time was a chipped windshield, Will use again when needed

Portland Glass went out of their way to pick up and return my truck from the dealer service department on the day of the appointment for glass replacement. My truck was at the dealer's for a few days for unexpected repairs. You don't see that kind of "service with a smile" very often these days. Thank you Portland Glass.
