I cannot say enough good things about Carey's. I purchased a vehicle from them that I love. The transaction went smoothly and the car is perfect for me. I wanted to get some work done to it and the owners were so kind and really helped me out. Every employee that I came in contact with made me feel like part of the family. Thank you to everyone at Carey's for taking such great care of me and my vehicle!

Bought a truck here, which they just did an inspection on. On the way home check engine light came on. Took the truck into a reliable mechanic and found it had stored codes and shouldn t have been able to pass inspection. Engine ended up having to be replaced, bad rear pads and rotors, and on and on needed over $9k in repairs to actually pass a real VT state inspection. Carey s is selling junk yard vehicles.

Recently purchased the 2012 Honda Accord five-speed standard that we knew needed a little bit of work. We changed the axles in it and now it's driving almost like new. Next will be the intermediate shaft and then I'm positive it will be smooth as silk. So far we are very happy with the purchase and confident this car will last for years to come. Thanks for the Honda.

Deceptive marketing for a vehicle that has considerable cosmetic and mechanical issues. I purchased a vehicle based on the website listing alone, having no ability to see it in person. Knowing this, a combined effort between Ben and Doug made no effort to represent the true condition of the vehicle I intended to purchase. Based on the number of other reviewers that have pointed out similar experiences with shoddy vehicle conditions, it seems that this is standard practice when they re trying to sell a vehicle that has less than stellar condition. I d probably try to avoid buying any vehicle from this business.*Update 11/2021*: The vehicle I purchased from Doug and Ben has had multiple unreported accidents that have left the frame of the car irreparably damaged and a severe safety risk to drive on the road. Ben had the audacity to claim their "mechanic" gave the car a "once-over" prior to selling it to me. The brazenly unscrupulous approach to selling vehicles is an outrageous red flag and I hope no one ever buys a car from these people.

Earl at Carey s was fantastic. He was friendly, down to earth, and approachable. He offered me a great deal on a used car and even came into the dealership on his day off to meet me for a test drive. Although I ended up going with a different vehicle, I would definitely come back to Carey s in the future. Great experience.

Bought a preowned car here. Had an issue during test driving that the shop later said they addressed. Car seemed fine when we brought it home, but the same issue cropped back up after a couple of days. Brought it back and the dealership basically said there is nothing they could do about it. Disappointing since otherwise it's a beautiful car.

Inquired online about a vehicle on 8/9 afterhours. Finally received a response (no one answers office phone) on 8/12. I stated I wanted the vehicle, and applied through their portal. Due to the age of the vehicle their bank said no (antique) so I received the VIN number to get financing locally, and told them I would get the ball rolling to get it done today (8/12). 2 hours later Earl sold the unit out from under me, without even offering to allow me to place a deposit to hold. Disrespectful and disappointing.

I drove an hour to buy a truck and when i got there they closed 2 hours early for no apparent reason. They didn't answer my calls or emails before hand. When I inspected the truck, it was sitting over a pool of power steering fluid. The truck looked much better in photos.I'd rather pay more at a more professional lot.

Horrible..my daughter's bfriend bought a truck.. problems with title, engine light came on 100 miles after picked up wouldn't pass inspection,it was a good learning experience!!!!! The truck is nice.. wouldn't fix.....it

Drove 45 minutes to look at a van they wanted 10900 for on the phone they said ran great been driving it all around when I got there I started it and it was loud obviously the exhaust system was leaking looked under it exhaust was coming out a in front of muffler I went inside and asked if he had put van on lift and look at it he said not yet they have had the van a while he has not been driving it around it was too loud it's not the repair that's a big deal it's the lies and deception why wouldn't you fix it they have a garage that does inspection crooked people don't go there

Piss poor customer service...Had problems with the 2011 Lincoln MKX I bought from day one...As I was driving the car off the lot...The mechanic tells me...Good luck getting gas in it because we could not get any in it...So I drove it to a gas station and what gas was going in it was coming out of the vent tube all over the ground and my feet...So I got them to replace the fuel evap canister and they said it was all set.. it worked some what.but when I go to restart the car it would keep cranking over till i hit the gas...Then shortly after it breaks down on the highway...Had to have it towed...Contacted Careys auto and was told they dint know anything about Lincoln's That i should take it to Formula Ford or to Middlebury..Come to find out...the internal water pump went along with the head gasket...So now it needs a new motor...So for a car with them saying was a great running car...a lot has went wrong with it...its been in shops and garages more than it's been driven....So far i have put a purge valve and vent valve in it...These are two parts they should have put in it when they put the evap canister in it...I had to get a replacement motor put in it...New tires.. New struts...a new sway bar and upper and lower tie rod ends...And now need to get brake pads and rosters put in it...And there response to it all....were sorry to hear it and that it sounds like I'm rebuilding the car.....So BUYERS BEWARE.....Do Not Believe What They Say...they sell you avehicle.and then when something goes wrong with it They tell you to take it to someone else because they dont know how to work on that kind of car...NO REFUND was offered or offer to help cover any of the cost..I will know better not to listen to someone say they got great deals and cars there...Because we surely did not....So go over it with a fine tooth comb if you do get anything from them..
