By far the worst dealership I ve ever had to deal with. I have a 2024 Sierra 2500 HD Denali. Was interested in trading towards a new rig. Truck is not even 6 months old and it s in MINT shape. Their experts who told me they have no way to appraise the vehicle cause it s so new were magically able to put a number together. 30k below the sticker price. Offer was an absolute insult. The incompetence displayed by the sales team is ridiculous. They know nothing about these trucks. Can t even answer basic questions about trim packages. After expressing that their offer was wrong they wanted me to come in again another day for a 3rd party appraisal. Why wouldn t this be the approach originally? Brought my truck to another GMC dealer in the same state and they immediately offered to pay out what I owed on the truck. Sales team is extremely unprofessional and lacks basic knowledge of the vehicles they re selling. Would absolutely never recommend alderman s in Rutland worst experience ever!!!

Collin helped me find my dream car! Honestly the best car buying experience is this dealership traveling far from home and coming to such a welcoming place each person at the dealership helped me in the process and allowed my dog to come, even took him for a walk while I test drove!

Great staff that was very communicative with me as my custom build order spanned across the strike and a stop sale. Very helpful with picking out, ordering and install a number of accessories to complete my dream truck vision.

I recently bought a new truck, my second from Alderman s, and once again Chris Doyle was my sales representative! Chris was amazing to work with. He knows the products, is easy to work with, friendly and goes the extra mile to make you feel taken care of. He was able to help me order my truck, kept me updated on progress and got it ready for me when I needed it. He is someone I trust and respect. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a new vehicle!

I was so pleased by how easy they made the whole experience. They understood all the rebates and incentives and even made me aware of one I hadn't yet heard about. They put everything together for me and made sure I knew what I needed to have ready or bring in. They knew about EVs and easily answered my questions. Lastly, they had very reasonable documentation fees and truly did not try to sneak anything else in there. Before working with Alderman's I was talking with another dealership who was charging 2.5x as much for documentation fees, then they were piling on a care package without choice for another $1.5k. The other dealership also did not understand all the rebates and did not know much about electric vehicles. By going with Alderman's I got more car (higher trim level with a better package) for less money than I would have spent at the first dealership! I also felt much less stress and more confident with my purchase. Truly a fantastic experience and team there at Alderman's. I will recommend them to anyone. They even welcomed my 2 year old daughter and brought her coloring pages while I signed paperwork. Excellent team!

Brian took a lot of his time to figure out how to get my fiance and I into a new car we like, and was very easy to work and patient with us. An overall great salesman. We ll definitely be buying our cars from Aldermans in the future.

I have only great things to say about Alderman's Chevrolet. From the service for my vehicle, which has always been on time and efficiently completed while meeting all of my needs and expectations!! I regards to the sales team and manager, you can't ask for a more friendly, understanding, knowledgeable bunch of people. Bauer has always answered all of my questions and concerns. When I go to buy another vehicle it will be from him or Walter. I also enjoyed talking to the manager, he informed me of some information and details of which I didn't know. I will definitely be back to buy another vehicle and get all my service there. Thanks again Alderman's Chevrolet!!

Shady Service department. Took my 2016 Chevy Traverse there for Fluid changes and repair of a window that would not go up or down. Car only has 73k on it. It has ran absolutely perfect since day one. Went to pick it up and as soon as my wife gets in the car she tries the window, doesn't work. I told her we would call them . Then a few days later the ABS light and check engine light turn on, car goes into slump mode. Take it back. They say its a wheel bearing and the need to replace the window switch on the passenger side( the changed the driver side first, you would think they would start with the side that doesn't actually work). So, I pick up up again, wheel bearing now replaced and paid and additional $200 after paying $300 for a window switch that didn't even fix the problem. We pick it up again. take it home and in less than a week there is a very loud ticking now in the engine and the check engine light is flashing AGAIN. I put my own code reader on it and it says an error with the knock sensor and random misfire. Take it back. They do about $150 worth of diagnosis on it to tell me the knock sensor is fine and they have to take the top half of the engine off to figure out whats really going on. The guy on the phone Jeff had his lines all ready, telling me it could cost 1000s for a new engine and I should really just think about trading it in without even knowing what it was. So, I declined service further and took it to another garage which turns out it was the knock sensor, they replaced it, charged me $150 and the car runs fine. Their expert technicians at Aldermans are a joke. Take your car somewhere else.

I live in New York and was looking to buy a new vehicle, I went to many dealerships here and basically got the runaround! I found the vehicle I was looking for online advertised by Alderman's Chevrolet, and Thank God I did because Alderman's was a breath of fresh air! Chris Doyle and the whole staff made the purchase of my new vehicle a very enjoyable experience. They couldn't have been any nicer and made me feel like family. I have found my new dealership right here in Rutland Vermont. Alderman's Chevrolet. I will never buy a vehicle anywhere else. Thank you.

For both my husband and I, our experience at Alderman s was excellent. We just stopped in to browse at the used vehicles and ended up purchasing a new Chevy Trax. Judd Gregory was our salesman. He is amazing. I can t thank Judd and everyone at Alderman s enough for making the process go so smoothly. I highly recommend this dealership

Worked with Jim Mckearin on new truck. He was very helpful. We did not feel over pressured to sign right away. We were clear that we would not sign on the first visit but did schedule a follow-up. Alderman s found the truck that met our needs. Great experience. We went to 2 other dealerships before alderman s and would not go back to them. One did not even ask for contact info and at the other we never met any sales staff even though we were in the showroom.

This is my second lease working with Jim and I plan on continuing. Everyone is very friendly and professional. Jim always explains things very clearly and follows up to be sure all went well! He spends as much time as needed to go over the paperwork and the vehicle! I give Aldermans 5 stars!

This was my first new car, and my first dealership experience. Jim McKearin and Dave Magro worked tirelessly to acquire the exact vehicle I wanted that fit within my price range, and Carol Kubler was so helpful in helping me select the protection plans I needed. Jessica Santini provided crucial advice along the way about leasing. The whole team was exemplary in making an otherwise stressful process go smoothly. I was able to come in and find the perfect fit of a truck that I was looking for. There was never a moment I felt pressured. The whole team was kind and easy to work with. They were all very accomodating for my three kids that were with me as well. I will absolutely come back to buy more vehicles at Aldermans in the future. Chris is thorough & thoughtful and always treats us well. Service here has been great also. They do a great job following up afterwards. I highly recommend Alderman's Chevrolet & ask for Chris. You won't regret it.

Craig the advisor and john in the truck shop did a great job! My truck had a problem that a few mechanics attempted and could not fix. Craig relayed the concerns to the truck shop mechanic. The problem was diagnosed and the issue was fixed, truck was only in the shop for 2 days.In todays auto business its hard to find employees like craig and john. Old school automotive knowledge that gets the job done. Very happy.

I went onto alderman s website to look for a new truck because mine was getting old and would need too much work done. I checked on one that I liked and I heard back from them within the next two hours! The next day I went it to look at it and was helped by Chris Doyle. He was incredibly friendly and very informative, I checked out a newer truck while I was there (now my truck) it wasn t on the lot yet because it had only arrived the day previous. He went out of his way to find it for me so I could test drive it. Once I was done we went in and ran the numbers, he was super helpful throughout the whole process, this is my first ever true dealership truck purchase so Chris made sure it seemed effortless, I got approved and picked it up a few days later and he walked through the truck with me and got me all set up! I would definitely recommend doing business with these guys, they are super friendly, very professional and will get you into the right vehicle for you!

My son and I had a service appointment for his car to program new key fobs . I called probably 10 other places and nobody wanted to touch it or audio shops just wanted to upsell me a $350 unit . Walking in to Alderman s I spoke with the service manager and within 2 minutes had all the fobs programmed. Where can you possibly get better service than that .

My husband and I were driving around scoping out the cars on the lot when a salesman approached us and asked if we needed some help. I told him what I interested in and he could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. He went out of his way for us throughout the whole process, from looking to purchasing. For both my husband and I, our experience at Alderman s was excellent. Everyone was very friendly. One thing that is a turn off for us is a pushy salesman. This was definitely NOT the case. Justin Pill was awesome! He has a great personality, he s friendly and very knowledgeable and thorough. I can t thank Justin and everyone at Alderman s enough! Oh yeah-I love my new wheels! Thank you Justin for making the process go so smoothly! Highly recommend this dealership.

Brian was an absolute pleasure to work with. We were purchasing our new Chevrolet while on vacation in California. Due to the distance and our tight timeline, Brian was able to facilitate the entire purchase via email, phone, and text messaging. He was very proactive in keeping us informed of the process and responding to our questions in the evenings and even on his day off. The staff at the dealership ensured we knew all about our new vehicle's options and seemed genuinely excited for us. We were very happy to do business with the whole team there in Rutland VT.
