I was on my way home from work & my car just completely lost power & needed a tow it took a hour just to get someone who would respond to the call & the only company that was willing to help was A Plus Towing & Recovery regardless of being 3+ hours away! given the wait time & having my husband come to wait/get me with no other option but to bring our 3 year old it being late and winter I had asked if I could be called when close & I would meet him with my key ETA was 12:46am he called & said he was a bit behind and would arrive around 1:20am I explained the situation and he said given my car won t go into neutral he really only needed the key because I had to have my car towed to a dealership to have the tow covered which was 60 miles away from my car! He still tried to ease my mind, make my life and day easier and take away some of my stress by offering to send me pictures of before and after and assuring me he would do everything possible not to damage it getting it on/off the tuck after driving 3 hours and looking at another 60 mile trip out of the way before heading all the way back where he started so I didn t have to go back out to bring him the key! Just for him to arrive and my car be gone! Even though I notified the right people there was a state trooper on site he new I was getting a tow it would be awhile he gave us flares and knew we wouldn t be able to wait with the vehicle the entire time but still at some point after leaving state troopers still had the car towed poor Tyler drove all that way for nothing!! Tyler and a plus towing and recovery were able to show me light at the end of the tunnel during a extremely horrible day and month they truly went above and beyond to try and make my life a little less stressful and a little less worrisome and for that I appreciate both the company and specially Tyler for being so helpful and understanding and going that extra mile when I clearly needed it! Shows there are still good people and companies in the world today! Thank you!

The service was great and he was there on a Sunday evening in a very short period of time. I wasn't able to put the car in neutral and it was in the way of people entering or exiting a fishing access. I got a call when he dropped the car off at its destination. I recommend A Plus Towing & Recovery. Really a very prompt and professional service. He gave a reasonable price right on the phone. No worries at all. I will be putting his business card in with my registration and insurance card and in my husbands truck.Service: Car towing

Very grateful! We had a blowout on our travel trailer and they were able to help us out right away. Arrived in less than 30 minutes and changed our tire efficiently. The owner followed up with us as well to make sure the process was smooth. I m so grateful to have found a business that cares about their customers. Hopefully we don t need them again, but they ll be my go to if we do!

Stuck on I-89 in Vermont, 2.5 hours away from home. Best thing that happened was that A Plus Towing and Recovery was assigned my call. John went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure that I got the help that I deeply needed. He went out of his way to make a very scary situation as comforting as possible. Excellent communication and customer service. I had to leave the car and not only did he still come pick up on time, he sent confirmation when he delivered the car, along with phone number and schedule of the shop. Definitely live up to the name of the company!!!!!Service: Car towing

John, the owner, is absolutely fabulous!!! He came out in the middle of NH and picked up my truck and myself and brought me back to Rutland, VT. He was wonderful, came immediately, kept me safe, stopped at a store for the restroom, dropped me off at enterprise and took my truck to Adirondacks and dropped it off to get fixed. Awesome man! Awesome conversation! Just a bad day made a whole lot better with his tow company!!!! Definitely would use again!!!Service: Long distance hauling

Early morning we discovered a leak in our tire. Without hesitation A plus was disputed to our location and hour or more away from our location he came out at 4 am to swap my tire so I could take it to be repaired. This saved me from bringing my children back out to the location in the middle of the night and on a chilly night! Very efficient swap the tire placed the tire away for us and was so kind! We were over hour from home car broke down. I had four kids with me one being baby. Super stressed very polite and understanding. I probably sounded crazy on the phone in a panic. A Plus not only has the best prices that I was able to find, they are also fast, reliable, and professional. To top it all off they are understanding of the difficult and stressful situations they get called out to help with and make you feel comfortable and are able to give you helpful information moving forward with your situation. They are honest and not looking for the extra dollar which is rare and hard to find. The quality of their work and helpfulness during stressful times easily makes them the best choice when it comes to your towing and recovery needs. My daughter's car battery was dead and needed and due to the way she was parked, it could not be jump started normally.I placed the call and within 15 minutes they were there with a jump pack. The driver was pleasant and very helpful. Would definitely call them again.

A week ago I had a brake failure on Route 7 in Rutland and had to phone around for a tow. Unlike other services I tried, A+ answered the call immediately; and even though it turned out all their rigs were on the road, and the owner was closest to me at 1.5 hrs away, he still guided me on how to cope and encouraged me to find closer help if possible. If not, he would come straight to me when he got into town. I did find a closer, faster solution, but I really appreciated the friendly, respectful, informative help I received from A+ during a stressful situation. Hopefully I'll never need towing again, but I recommend this business for anyone who does. They are aptly named, because I rate them A+ !

I called Scott for help with a persistent parking issue on my property while I was out of town.He was prompt, professional and courteous to myself and with the owner of the building whose tenants were violating my no trespassing/no parking signs. He was able to effectively take control of the situation while preserving peace between me and the neighbors.I feel confident he would follow through with the same respect and integrity if I needed him to in the future. I cannot express enough how great my service was with this company! They stopped when they saw me on the side of the road and helped tow my car off a cliff edge after AAA They were beyond friendly, professional and fairly priced. Fantastic Company. When you call them they sound happy and eager to earn your business instead of annoyed like many other places. They gave me an estimate, a time, and were right on the money with both. Great new service to the area! Call for current rates, but currently as of the end of 2021 it is $45 for an in-city tow and $75 for off-hours in-city tow. Polite, timely, and courteous service. Highly recommended!
