November 2022 I bought a Subaru from these guys. When I bought it I mentioned it had a stutter and asked that the vehicle be checked out. I was told by Andrew there's nothing wrong with it. Over the next 6 months the stutter got worse and worse. Misfire codes started popping up, and the engine had almost no power. Checked the history and there were a BUNCH of codes that had been cleared prior to selling me the car. It's out of warranty at this point so nothing can be done.Turns out the head gaskets and cylinder heads were shot and the vehicle needed a whole new engine, which I just spent $3000 to have done.I'd love to get part of my money back for being mislead by these guys by intentionally hiding codes and lying about issues with the vehicle but it's surely a lost cause. LIARS.

They are amazing! Can't say enough good things. So kind, helpful, patient, willing to explain things to a non-car person. Didn't charge me for the initial go-over of the car that easily took them an hour. They loaned me a car for several days while mine got work done and did not charge me, made sure everything was working as it should before I got my car back, and came in $200 under the *lowest* quote they gave me (and thousands less than another place). They have my undying devotion now. My Subaru is in good hands.

Andrew squeezed me in for a brake service. He was respectful and knowledgeable. They did a great job on my car. I would definitely return and refer them to others.

It has been six months since I bought a car from Junction Auto. So far, I've had to put nearly $2500 into it for essential repairs with a mechanic who's good at saving money for his customers. Initially, I was persuaded that the mechanic who assessed the problems with the car was exaggerating, and while he did see things that turned out to be less major issues, other problems have surfaced that he didn't see. Junction Auto deliberately misled me on mechanical issues I pointed out, and failed to disclose many other issues they were most likely aware of. When asked to make it right, they did the minimum amount (45 minutes of immaterial labor) to protect themselves legally. They didn't even perform an oil change on the car before selling it though it was due. They sure did clean it up well though. Do not trust the reliability of the cars Junction Auto sells, and do not expect them to disclose accurate details about their cars' mechanical conditions.

Andrew and his team are fantastic. Not only had their work been top notch, the customer service is incredible. With 3 used vehicles, we need seemingly constant mechanic work on something, or something needs an inspection, or the tires changed. They do it all, Subaru or otherwise (we only have one Subaru). We bought a vehicle from Andrew, he'd just gotten it in sand hadn't gone through it to check it out. Turns out it needed way more than Andrew or ourselves could have expected. Andrew went above and beyond what he needed to in order to give us a safe, reliable vehicle. I have been so pleased with his services. Grateful to have a connection to such an honest, good, auto service. Highly recommend.Services: Electrical repair, Exhaust, Tires, Auto glass repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Body & Trim, Engine repair, Brakes, Battery, Oil change

I communicated primarily with Andrew at Junction Auto via email and although I had a lot of questions he was very responsive and worked with me to make sure that I got the car that I wanted. I would highly recommend Junction Auto.EDIT: Not sure why this happened and it's really unfortunate but after fixing a few items on the car I purchased (new windshield, fixed a bit of rust) I started getting the ol' run around from the guys at Junction Auto. From the day I bought the car there was a constant, high-pitched squealing noise that came from the air vents when the air was on. It was agreed that the blower motor would be replaced. At least twice I left my car for the entire day to have the blower motor replaced and each time was told it had been done. Each time I got back into the car afterwards and the squealing was immediately there. So I took the car to another shop and had them pull the blower motor out. Lo and behold, not only was the blower motor shot/old, there was a mouse nest in there! I couldn't believe it. So what the heck did I even leave my car there for?Naturally Andrew didn't respond to the email I sent inquiring about this discovery, so it's a lost cause at this point, but wanted to let others know rather than fix the small, stupid problem and be honest about it they might waste your time and give ya the run around...They also said they'd replace the driver's side window because the pads were bad and there was scratching/scoring all up the window (which is a hazard as I can't see clearly through it) but that never happened either because they "couldn't find a window" for me. (They had 3 months to find one) Suuuure...

These guys are great. They did a bunch of work for me today in a very short amount of time. The prices were surprisingly affordable. Definitely recommend these guys especially if you have a Subaru. I will definitely be back in the future.

So far so good! Only have lived in the area for a few months but already have had a few car inspections done here and oil changes. Prices are fair and the mechs seem really honest (which is better than I can say about some other places). Down to earth people here.Strongly recommended calling and making appointments in advance, as they always seem pretty busy (which is a good thing!). They work on all cars and trucks, but subaru does seem to be their specialty.

Bought a car (2006 Outback) with some problems that were not diagnosed. Needed a new catalytic converter and air compressor that were missed during my warranty period. ( Was told the A/C just needed a recharge, nope, electrical unit sliced through by belt, not even looked at) Never got a piece of the bumper that I asked for at least twice. Came back and left my number looking for parts, never got a call back. Pretty bad experience.

Junction specializes in Subaru repair, and they do the best job of any shop I've been to. I've lived (and dealt with multiple shops) in 4 different states, and Junction is, by far, the best of them all. Because they're so good at diagnostics, the labor charges for "something is wrong with X" have been consistently low - the only place I've been where I get the bill, and am surprised by how low it is. Also the only place I've ever been where the mechanic is happy to have you in the garage while he's working on your car - and will gladly point out parts and answer questions. I've had everything from serious crash repair (after being hit by a guy doing 80) to electrical issues, including rewiring the dash deck, to basic oil/lube maintance, and they have consistently outperformed expectations every time. When I wanted to install a turbo, the mechanics asked that I bring the tech specs and user manual, just so they could run the numbers, and make doubly sure that I wasn't over-pressurizing my engine. They didn't charge for that "elective" labor. The last high mark of this excellent shop I'll mention: when I moved out of Vermont, I called and asked if they knew anyone near my new residence who did similar quality work, and the answer was "no, but I'll call my parts supplier and ask him, I'll call you back in a bit." Its no wonder that Junction comes so highly recommended by anyone who has ever dealt with them.

These guys are the greatest. They have taken good care of all my family's Subies (6 or 7 of them) for over 20 years, and kept them going as long as the bodies held out. Always hones, responsive and affordable.

Haven't had the wk done yet, but our concerns were met and evaluated with a degree of enthusiasm and friendly ness that is uncharacteristic in the industry. Pleasant difference. And we travel country wide and have experienced "the other".

Thank you Junction Auto Crew! I recently purchased a Subaru Legacy from them, I gave the car to my son and he drove it 2500 miles to Montana without any problems! Don took the time to educate my son on Subaru ownership, These guys know their Subaru's, I highly recommend and have complete confidence in them for a Subaru or Subaru repair.

Can't describe how excellent these guys are.....for decades I have been taking my Subaru here and they have always gone the extra mile, not just with me, but with everyone, with loaner cars/payment plans.Don stands behind his work 100%, and let me tell you from a mechanics point of view, working on cars in Vermont sucks...the rust, the hurried east coast customers, cheap and privileged people, they all want their cars fixed yesterday, and for nothing.Don's stand-up philosophy is how this shop achieves such consistency. We all need our transportation running smooth and that is not an easy thing with Vermont's weather and road conditions. Junction has always kept me on the road running smooth.I am forever indebted.

If you have or want a SUBARU, then you must go here. Very good diagnostic skills and reliable repairs. They also always have a good supply of used Subarus in all price ranges. They do a complete engine rebuild on high mileage used cars so you can expect to get 200k without any trouble.

We've been customers for decades and won't go anywhere else. Andrew and Don have always gone above and beyond (including delivering a new key and extracting the one that broke off in a nasty storm). Fair pricing and good information.
