I do wish that I looked up reviews here first. Not listed online that this is salvaged title shop. Explained that my teenage child will be driving the car with little siblings needing a safe vehicle. Was told the car I looked at (which is SO overpriced, found exact same car with only 18k mls vs 60mls for $6k less in Burlington few weeks later & a year newer) needed new breaks they can do same day. There was mold issue inside, wet roof, they reassured me their tornado machine removes all that & window must've been open. Got the car home to have my teenage tell me ebrake isn t working, handle missing on driver seat, volume button not working, some part missing in the front of the bumper. Called asked if this vehicle was even inspected or they slapped the sticker on, I got worked up because this is a part of SAFETY inspection and y all put my children in a NOT safe car! The guy screamed back at me how it s not part of inspection, how I bought a used car, how my kid needs to use volume on the steering wheel. 1st acted like I purchased AS IS vehicle. 2nd acted as if I wrote a check for $3k & not $16+k. None of this was disclosed to me but the photos of a car that had windshield damage. Another person called back much kinder, took my car back in to have the safety inspection actually then performed, as I pulled in saw my sales guy in which case I was excited to be like hey dude what s this about, told you this car is for my child.. y all gonna risk my kids life. Well soon as he saw me out the car he ran in the back for his money. They performed the things above. One thing that remains an issue which was supposed to be done before this vehicle is even posted for sale, water is getting in the car through the roof or windshield, your company says it s not it s fine floors are not wet. Roof is wet, windows inside are wet & dashboard wet, my child is using a towel every day to wipe everything inside. This car noone would give me more than 5k to trade in at an ACTUAL dealership. Basically I think that Marty s is NOT about safety, y all don t even know the cars that you re selling you are selling cars AS IS & overpriced. If you actually took care of a car, inspected it, gave it an actual rebuild title price & had legit sales people, rather than scam the public, you would ve had a long time customer in me. 5 more children to buy cars out right for. Definitely, most absolutely, never, ever through Marty s. Do yourself a favor & go to a certified dealership or buy cars like this at an auction for $1k in Williston. If the water issue persists, I will take this review somewhere else. Do better, people work so hard to provide for their families & don t risk no parents child life in your overpriced, unsafe vehicles, this concerned mom doesn t feel her child is safe in this vehicle, at all!

Marty's Auto has sales people ( Chad & Paul) that are friendly & honest about their used vehicle inventory. I & my wife bought a 2016 Toyota Tacoma during August of 2019 with a trade-in & financing, which the process was easy. Thanks to Chad ( General Manager) & Marty (Owner) made their service a great experience & look forward to doing business with Marty's Auto again !!!

I purchased a Subaru from Marty's about three months ago. I have been and I am still happy with my purchase. I had a small issue which I found recently. Not only was Paul immediate to correct the issue, but he did so on a Sunday with no charge. I highly recommend Marty's Auto for your automotive needs. Thank you to all the staff and families!

Looked at a car, told them I wanted to buy it and would be back in a couple hours to pay and pick it up. They said OK see ya soon, didn't ask for a deposit, and sold the car to someone else without even calling me. Beyond frustrating as I was standing in front of them with money in my pocket an hour ago and if they had told me they require a deposit to hold it FOR 2 HOURS I could've given it to them on the spot. Gave me the standard used car salesman slime pitch about how they were about the raise the price and its worth more and used cars are selling for above retail at auction blah blah blah. Do not trust these guys, the bad reviews are here for a reason and I count it as good luck I didn't get furthered involved with this business.Edit: After reading the other 1star reviews I realise this place is a total scam. The car I was looking at also had "minor cosmetic damage" that resulted in a total loss/salvage title and was told its because insurance couldn't replace part etc. SAME EXACT scam it seems they've pulled off on numerous people this year. Part of me wants to give them 2 stars because at least they didn't have the decency to hold the car for me and pawned it off on some other poor guy. Red flag avoid at all cost business. I'd sooner ride a horse.

These are rebuilt vehicles that are not identified as such during their advertising. Don't waste time like I did unless you want to buy cars that are salvaged and rebuilt then sold at top dollar...Deceptive marketing practice so I assume the whole process is shell and mirrors

The people here are great if there are no problems with the vehicle, however if problems do develop it is not their fault and they make up all kinds of reasons why they will not help. Our vehicle either developed an oil leak and had a slow oil leak from the start that was not very noticeable for a couple months after the purchase of a vehicle with just under 40,000 miles. Had my usual mechanic take a look at it which resulted in a rather large expense to repair. When I called to see what kind of help would be offered by Marty's it was all about how the the mechanic I have trusted for years and has a quality reputation in the community was ripping me off. Too many excuses.

They buy all there cars pretty close to totaled with low mileage & than they half a** fix them up and sell them with rebuilt titles . Marty s a con & chad is nothing but a deceiving sales man who wouldn t think twice about doing what s best for him & not you .

Buying a used car is not always an easy process. Martys Auto specializes in salvage rebuilt cars and they has a used car that was in my price range. The car initially had some issues including serious electronic problems. I wrote a letter to the owner Marty and he was nice enough to write me a check for some of the cost of the repairs, they also took time to look at the vehicle and will be helping with any further issues. Therefore I think that Martys Auto is a good and reputable business for buying used cars and I was satisfied with their service.

Saw an awesome deal online for a low mile 2000 Honda Accord V6 EX coupe. Went to check it out, expecting something was up. Car was pretty decent. However, they had another 2000 Accord V6 EX coupe, that was in even better condition and had leather seats! Pretty much all of the cars on the lot seemed like great values. Almost, convinced myself to purchase a more expensive BMW because it was such a great deal. 3 months later, 5000+ miles, car is still running great! The sales department was wonderful and I would definitely purchase another car from here in the future.

Bought a car here last year to travel to a new job cross country. Everything seemed fine until i just tried trading it in for a newer vehicle where I'm at now. Car has a salvage title. Now i own $4000 on a car that's worth $1000.Some other reviews state that this place over prices salvage cars, but this car was sold to me with a clean title.I even remember the two salesman taking about how i don't have to sign the salvage titleftitle because this has a clean title.Well, that was a lie... Don't trust this place!

Very pleased with the service provided. We had a specific brand and model of vehicle seeking and they were able to locate one that had below normal mileage and in good, clean condition. Very attentive and easy purchasing process. Highly recommended, which is unusual, for a used vehicle dealer. Good customer service is the most important asset when considering buying a used vehicle and they deliver!

Nothing but praise for the team at Marty's.I recently bought a used car from them for my daughter. They really got what I was looking for and were great to deal with. Including covering the cost and installation of a new wiper motor when I called them a month later. They also helped my locate and then install an aux kit at a very reasonable price. They have a lot of really nice cars on the lot, and new ones coming in all the time - check them out. Made buying a used car easy and painless and a sure thing.

I drove off the lot with some things that were non-functional, missing, or fell off within 72 hours of leaving. I contacted you immediately to make sure I could get it fixed and repeatedly was told to come back. Twice the service person wasn't there. Third time I sat in the waiting room for over an hour before being told he was too busy. Then my husband called to see if it would be ok to bring it by the next day. Everyone he spoke with from sales to service was rude or dismissive.I don't expect everything in a rebuilt late model car to be perfect, but when I drive off the lot and have a dashlight come on before I even make it home, I expect it to be fixed. Pieces of the car flew off while driving on the highway. There is nowhere to attach a license plate. And the engine is making an odd rattling noise. None of these things have been addressed.

Marty's Auto is a place I will NEVER go again! I'm warning all my friends and family to do the same. I never ever write reviews on a place because I hate to be that person but if I can save other people from going what I went through, then this post is worth it. I went there looking at a car as my current one was about to die and they took advantage of me as a buyer. They showed me a used car that had been "in a minor fender bender" and they "couldn't believe why no one has bought it yet"and the only thing wrong with it was it now had a rebuilt title due to the fender bender. In dire need of a car and excited about 'how good of a deal this car was' I couldn't believe my luck and purchased it. Less than 2 weeks after I purchased the vehicle, the tail light went out. Less than 2 months after that, the motor blower had to be completely replaced, costing me over $500. I then tried to sell the vehicle on a trade in and found out the "minor fender bender" they had told me about was in fact their way of saying the car had been deemed a TOTAL LOSS by insurance and had a SALVAGED title. Now, i'm being offered half of what I purchased for the vehicle, even though I've had it less than 3 months. Technically, sure- they hadn't done anything illegal since they had told me it was a rebuilt title but come on- they weren't truthful about the car AT ALL and took advantage of me as a buyer. I went back to them to try to get them to buy the car back and explained why I didn't want it anymore, and they offered me $3,000 less than what I purchased the vehicle for, only 3 MONTHS after I bought it from them. They told me "money's tight" when I told them I was disappointed in their offer for the car as I had told them I had to finance a new tail light and a new blower motor in less than 3 months (putting in at least $800 into the car) after I bought it. They didn't care because they'd already made their money off of me. Dishonest car dealerships are the WORST and they top the worst of the worst. Never going back and never recommending them to anyone. Safe your money and time and DON'T GO HERE.

I have been buying cars from Marty's since I was 16 and multiple vehicles sense than. I bought my most current car June 20th 2020. I called ahead and they had all the paperwork waiting when I arrived all the fluids had been checked and filed. They take care of tax, title and registration right there. When i said i was going online to get insurance they said to wait that they could get me a cheaper quote and they did, it was $20 less per month than the one I had found for myself online. Sense I first went ther in 2001 multiple family members including my child and my father as well as extended family and friend have all bought vehicles from Marty's auto and we all agree Marty's has amazing used vehicles at low prices and he takes great care of his costomers

We would like to thank the team at this dealership for making our recent car purchase so very easy. We drove 4 hours to obtain a car that was advertised on their website. We found the care to be in excellent shape; even better then expected. They had the car ready to test drive when we arrived and everyone was helpful in the purchasing process. We paid cash so our purchase went very quickly. We arrived to the store 20 minutes before closing and were on our way 1/2 an hour later. We drove the car home that night without a single concern with this vehicle. We purchased a 1997 honda del sol which is absolutely one of the best cars ever made. Thanks for the new paint job and wheels!!!

What started as an awesome experience ended as a frustrating one. We were very happy with our buying experience and the service we received, but had to bring the car back to get a few finishing pieces put on. After calling on two occasions to get the car in with no call back, we called a third time to schedule to bring the car back in. When we went to pick it up the splash guard was not put back on and we went elsewhere to get it put back on. The customer service through this process, after we had bought the car, left a poor taste in my mouth.

Had a great experience working with Chad buying a truck. He made buying a truck a happy experience vs the task I was worried it would be. Entire staff is nice and helpful. I had lots of inventory at different price points to choose from. The dogs Bailey and Barkley are a nice touch too!

To be fair, I have not purchased a vehicle from them, but I gave them one star based on the fact they do not keep their online inventory up to date. Very frustrating, especially with COVID-19 restrictions.NOTE: What makes shopping here even less appealing is how long it took them to respond to my review and when they did they did not address the problem I posted. The cars I called about were still listed for days after I called to inquire and were told they were sold. That is clearly NOT trying their best. Bottom line - they don't care about my time, they don't need my purchase. There are plenty of other dealerships in the area with much better customer service. I suggest going elsewhere

At first I thought my car was a good buy. When I purchased the car I was shown pictures of the damage that had been done before Marty's bought it. I did a little bit of bodyworkafter a small accident and sanding the paint down for preparation revealed there was much more damage to this car then I was told about when I bought it. Lots of Bondo in it and it had been repainted with a very cheap paint. originally I was shown a little bit of damage on the hood and a mirror that had been replaced however, it was soon revealed to me that there was a lot more damage done before I bought it then I had been shown. I am not very happy about

Don't trust a single word from these guys. I bought a BMW from them and the explanation of the salvage title was that the quarter panel was dented and the insurance company totaled the vehicle due to the part not being available for a while. Took the car home and everything seemed great until I took it on the interstate, then half the plastic shielding ripped off and went flying out behind me. They did promise to replace it, tho they only replaced the one piece that was visible from the wheel well and left everything else hanging. Later down the road I took it to BMW for service and was told and shown that the valve cover had a massive crack in it and instead of replacing it Marty's had just glued it back together. After having the car for a year I was told I couldn't have the car inspected due to frame damage that was visible. Called Marty's and they said they could inspect it for me and then had me come back 5 times as they would tell me something different was wrong each time. Finally gave up and had a shop down the road help me pass inspection in 1 shot. After I heard there was frame damage I looked into the history of the car, it had one accident at the same mileage I bought it at except it said that every side and parts of the undercarriage were hit.

Love these guys! The cars are rebuilt and the prices reflect it. They will show you exactly what happened and exactly what they did to fix it. Bryan (in Sales) is amazing - super helpful, no pressure, totally customer-centered. I highly recommend working with him!!!!

I bought my truck about a year ago, tires were set at 55lbs, the cap that was on it wasn't even wired, it finally needed to go to a body shop to get bumper replace for a miner accident I was in and found out the fenders weren't painted the same color after removing the flares, fender wasn't even bolted to the bed, the line to fill gas tank was zip tied. That place is a hack job shop. Use your money elsewhere people or bring it to a shop on a test drive cause you will get screwed

Excellent experience at Marty's Auto. I got a '13 KIA Soul w/ 67K that I had already picked out in less than a day at a great price. I had my mechanic check it and it is solid. I will be coming back!

What you may not know, is that most of the vehicles on the lot, have rebuilt/salvaged, titles. Which means the vehicle was in an accident. The insurance bought out the remainder of the balance on the vehicle. Dealer, Collision shop, resells.
