Great location as a jumping off place for many of southern Vermont's treasures. Room was clean, staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast, ordered the night before, is delicious. Although pricy, it was still the going rate for the location. The grounds are beautiful! I would add the rooms have refrigerators; however, if you want to have a microwave in your room, I was nicely informed you should ask for one when making the reservation. They can put one in before you get there.

Very happy with our stay! We had a queen room with a deck that had a beautiful view of the mountains! Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and continental breakfast was included with our stay. Breakfast was hot, made to order, and ready at our exact pickup time. Breakfast room was quaint. The town of Manchester was lovely! Beautiful area that I would 100% recommend!

Booked for a romantic getaway and choose the room with the fireplace. The view was beautiful but could not get the fireplace to light. It would extinguish when the fireplace doors were shut. Maybe flue issue? Inn comped us but I was so disappointed not to have the fireplace on a cold, icy romantic night. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable but we could hear the conversation of the people next door quite easily. The warm muffins at breakfast were awesome and the coffee was good. The location was close to the town of Manchester, which was charming. All in all a nice little getaway.

Off season so was quite, all staff was very friendly and helpful with some local places to visit and eat at. The views of the mountains, sitting on the balcony was just perfect. Room was nice and clean, fire place was a great touch. The decor fits the location and in a good way, like a Vermont country setting. Nice clean open grounds. Nice quick ride into town and was pretty central located for all that we had planned. We will definitely book again.

Everything about our stay at The Manchester View was superb. We needed to shift the dates of our stay and the staff at the front desk couldn t have been more accommodating. Our room (111) was nicely appointed with a fireplace and jetted tub which we enjoyed after two days of skiing. I definitely recommend this hotel if you re looking for a quiet and quaint place to stay.

Ended up unexpectedly without a room for the night on Memorial Day Weekend, but found this WONDERFUL spot on Travelocity that was listed as Aspen at Manchester View Hotel. Can't say enough about what a lovely surprise it was. My queen room was beautifully appointed with wood floor and vintage rug. Decor was so cozy and homey, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. They have fire pits and offered the makings for s'mores! There is also a spa on the property that I will probably check out the next time.

Since discovering this gem of a motel on a hill it s become my favorite place to stay when in Vermont. Each of my 3 stays have been wonderful. Tranquil, stunning views of the mountains, and a few minutes from Manchester shopping and restaurants. The breakfast is generous and the delicious blueberry muffins are consistently served warm & fresh. Another plus is that it s not located near any major roads which adds to the tranquil environment. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathroom is well maintained with plenty of hot water. The decor of the rooms have a cozy bed & breakfast vibe.I m looking forward to my next visit!

And this is a very nice quiet and peaceful hotel with really beautiful views of the mountains. The rooms are spacious ours had our own deck the only problem was the bushes were so high around the deck that if I sat in a chair I couldn t see any of the Mountain View at all so that was disappointing when my husband and I had our coffee and breakfast in the morning we like to sit on the deck and have a view but all we were looking at were bushes. The room was super clean and very spacious with the fireplace and it actually was cool that weekend but we could not use the fireplace they told us it was locked so I was a bummed about that. They have a nice little continental breakfast room where you order your continental breakfast and you pick it up and that was very nice to have. It is not in town but it s only a short drive to town. They do allow pets and you did not hear any sound of pets so it was wonderful because we have a little dog we wanted to bring and our beds were super comfortable so all in all it was a pretty nice place to stay.

We stayed in the Ethan Allen suite for one night on our way to NH. We were very impressed with this room and property. We used all the amenities that the room had to offer. The fireplace was all set and ready to go and had a lot of extra firewood in the room. The hearth had no soot or dirt at all. It worked flawlessly. There were exclusive instructions that were extremely helpful on how to use it properly. The jacuzzi garden tub was very powerful and easy to use. The water was so wonderfully hot. The canopy bed was very comfortable. The heating worked very well, although occasionally clank-ity. The furnishings in the room are not accents, as they are items that belong in the period of the Ethan Allen themed room. Everything looks like it belongs. Outside, the mountains are the purpose of the property. The grounds are neat and easy to maneuver. Check in was easy, quick and the clerk was friendly. The complementary continental breakfast was very simple. Next time we will make this area of southern VT the destination, instead of a stop. The towns of Manchester and MC are quaint and charming.

Lovely place to stay! The grounds are beautiful and the view is amazing! The staff are friendly and helpful. My room was nice and very clean. The only negatives were the A/C was very loud so it was hard to sleep. Also the water in the shower was only lukewarm.

I had a wonderful stay here. The rooms was clean and comfortable. For a solo female traveler the town/area felt safe. The grounds are painstakingly groomed to perfection and beauty with window boxes, planters, trees, Hosta, and mowed grass. The view is unbelievable. But the customer service was what really stood out. I had just finished a mutli-day endurance effort in the Green Mountains and was exhausted, hot, dirty, and tired, and they let me check in almost three hours early. What a kindness, thank you! Looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend.

We stayed in the Robert Frost room in February and had a wonderful time! It was the epitome of cozy with its fireplace, comfortable arm chairs and quiet surroundings. And the bathroom was a highlight in its own right - spacious, clean, bright, clawfoot tub (and shower), perfect water pressure. We enjoyed breakfast each morning - the gentleman preparing our meals was very warm and friendly. The Manchester View is more of an experience than just a place to stay - we re so grateful to have enjoyed it!

I d give it between a 3 and 4. Nice rooms, a little pricey. Nice grounds, friendly staff, good breakfast. Bathroom amenities lackluster (there s a sewing card which is cool, otherwise think Motel 6), almost non-functional wifi in a place with terrible LTE/4G data. Bathtub is very shallow/low overflow. It s a decent place, could be amazing if they paid more attention to detail.

Stayed for a few days in Mid November. The Manchester View is set in such a beautiful setting nestled in the mountains. Everyone that we dealt with was pleasant and accommodating. The room we stayed in was one of their suites with a Gas Fireplace and Two Person Jacuzzi. The room was clean, comfortable, and roomy especially the Shower just huge!If I had one comment it would be that the room is a bit dated again no big deal. This did not take away from our wonderful stay. We would definitely come back.

Nice clean rooms. Wonderful staff. I love the honor system that Vermont has. At nine o'clock the office closes, so if you arrive after nine pm, you can find your room key in an envelope at the door.Breakfast is served between 800am-930 am and you get to pick items of a very select menu. I did see the staff making muffins from a batter mix, so the muffins are fresh and hot.

The breakfast was so nice and the cleaning lady was so welcoming and sweet. All of the hotel staff was lovely. There was fields for me and my dog to run in together which was the highlight of my stay. The pool was clean and so nice. I will definitely be back and I will definitely recommend to others.10/10
