Visited Auchobons Hardware in Ludlow Vermont. The store was clean and well stocked. I was very impressed with the vast selection of items. The store was much larger than it seemed from the outside. Staff was friendly enough and I was satisfied with the service. It seemed that what ever you needed from a hardware type store, you d find it, and then some, here. While I understand retailers have ever increasing expenses these days and the fact that this store is in a very rural location, $35.00 for 100 Black Nitrile 5 mil gloves was excessive, but then again, I was able to source what I needed in an area where there aren t many places to go. Other then that, this seems to be a really great store.

First time to vacation property in Vermont. Had to dig out of the snow. Aubuchon had all the last minute tools required. Their stuff is not cheap, but they only carry high quality, durable products

As usual the people in the Ludlow store went out of their way to help. We re repainting a lot of rooms & just wanted to keep them the same color. We knew the name & make of the colors we d used before but when one color wasn t in the paint computer the associate make a few suggestions on how we could match it. As it was late in the day we brought in a sample and he had it ready for our painter first thing in the morning. Prefect match. Thank you!!

Ordered a custom mixed gallon of paint. They had it ready in like 15 minutes.Order was waiting for me when I arrived.Everyone is so friendly at the store, it s a pleasure to shop there!

A "gal" in her early 80's was extremely helpful, and seems to know more than the young men working there. Some of them just point out where to find your item, whereas she actually took me to what I was looking for.

I always get good prompt service at the Ludlow Aubuchon. On my most recent visit, I was helped immensely by two associates who showed me exactly where to find the items I was having a little trouble finding.

Very knowledgeable and friendly. I needed to match a paint color, which they used this sophisticated machine to do. It was a perfect match. They did not oversell me any materials. I also appreciated that all of the employees were wearing masks.

Aubuchon is the quintessential small town hardware store. The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. When one person does not know the answer, they take the time to ask another.It is a small store yet carries a wide variety of things.The biggest problem is that the staff routinely wears political clothing and shoes with images of their candidate painted on them, making it very uncomfortable to shop there.

Aubuchon Ludlow is an awesome service to our community! The staff like Paul and Abby are so helpful and caring and the width and breath of the inventory is truly amazing. A truly great place to shop!

The staff is great don't get me wrong but today it was pretty busy and staff wasn't paying attention to the line that built up. I approached a staff member and pointed it out. He thanked me and quickly addressed the matter. I need to mention this as well, a few of them were on their phones...

This newly expanded hardware store may be the best in the state! Hundreds .of old fashioned drawers of the kind of general and specialized screws, bolts, nuts, washers, cotter (and other) keys, sleeves, fittings, plugs, corks (yes corks) and hundreds of other items Home Depot hasn't even thought about. All available in the quantity you want, not the number some corporate packager thought you ought to have. Lawn mowers, snow blowers, paint and all the thousands of other items you would expect or hope to find at a hardware store are there. No lumber or heavy duty building supplies, but all else.

The newly expanded store is great with expanded line of merchandise for most of your needs. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. A great shopping experience can be found at the Ludlow Aubuchon Store.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Stocks high quality products such as Benjamin Moore and Stihl and has products ranging from hardware, paint, housewares, plumbing, electrical, power equipment, and lawn care.
