I had a great experience at Coleman Auto Repair! After my truck wouldn t start and could not be jumped, I was told Coleman s was the place to bring the truck. I called them and they promised to at least look at the problem it was later in the day on Friday. Not only were they able to quickly diagnose and replace the starter, but did so in a kind and professional manner. Had they not been able to work so efficiently, I would have been stuck over the weekend with no place to say as we had just checked out of our hotel. In addition, since I had nowhere to go, I got to spend some time in the office. It became quickly apparent that they are a cornerstone of the community. Regular customers flowed in and out with a lot of joking and laughter. I also noticed the many community thanks they have received for donations to local organizations. Their bulletin board is filled with business cards and small adds for local services. On top of all that, it is a family run operation! In short, it is a great business run by great people who work hard to do the job right and help their community! Quite a pleasant surprise.

We dropped in without an appointment when the check engine light came on in my 2001 Camry. The manager explained he had no one to diagnose the problem right not and since we were not locals, he offered to come out and look at the car. He checked the fluid levels and a few other things, tightened the gas cap, and said it all looked/sounded fine to him. As we drove away, the light was off - I guess it was that gas cap. I had offered to pay him for his time, but he wasn't having it. We were very grateful for his assistance, so willingly offered.

Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff. They told me it might take a long time to fix my truck but had a very quick turn around and I had it back the next day! I've found my local mechanic. Thanks guys!

Coleman s is a great garage! Trust is the #1 thing to have with a mechanic and these guys are trustworthy! They simply do not do work that doesn t need to get done and if there s somewhere else that it be done for less (specialized muffler for instance) they point you in that direction. Fair, honest, great mechanics. Thanks Artie and Junior!

Highly recommend Junior and the team in the Londonderry VT shop. My son went on his first solo trip to vacation in Vermont.Unfortunately, during the trip his Jeep broke down and was not safe to drive. My son contacted a lot of other shops and either they were booked or wouldn't give him the time or day but I truly believe God had other plans and brought my son to Junior.Junior examined the situation and had to order several parts to fix this vehicle. My son's vacation was ruined but Junior and his father made everything better.Junior's Father was kind enough to drop my son off to his already booked Cabin. When vehicle was fixed, Juniors father picked him up to get Jeep. My sons cabin was almost an hour away... They made sure everything was safe for my son and in excellent working order.As a mother this means so much to me because I was in NY when this all happened. Junior even asked for a text when my son arrived home to make sure all went well.Junior and his father went way beyond to help us and keep the situation as calm as possible. They truly care about the customers and their safety.Communication was never an issue. Junior was very professional, understanding and kept me in the loop. Cost was to be expected with the amount of work that needed to be done.We weren't expecting this to happen but glad it happened with Junior being available to help my son. They are Angels from the heavens in my opinion. Thank you Junior for everything you did for us. So grateful. May God bless you and your family.I wish you guys were close to our area! Hard to find good mechanics like you!

A special thanks to Dean Jr. for his great service and excellent communication through the process. I was stranded about 6 miles away at Jamaica State Park because the AC clutch failed on my truck, leaving it undriveable. I was under tight time constraints as I had only a few days left on my campsite reservation and needed to vacate the site along with my travel trailer. I was able to get the truck towed in to Coleman's and in less than 48 hours from the time it arrived there the truck was repaired and ready to go. I was also dealing with poor cell phone service in the area and could only communicate when I was within the wi-fi range of the campground ranger station. Again, Dean Jr's communication was excellent and he even picked me up at the campground and brought me back to his facility when the truck was repaired. Finally, the bill came in at $50 less than his estimate. It was reassuring to get such great service at a fair price. When you're stranded, you're at the mercy of others. He fully understood my situation and did everything possible to accommodate me. It's a pleasure to do business with nice people! Been coming here for years and never fully leave happy. Always seems much more expensive than it should be and adding extra things to do that I didn t ask for. Oil change was over $100... my last visit will be my final one as my sons $140 basketball sneakers were stolen out of the trunk.

I am writing this review in September 2018 following a very positive and major service experience that occurred on my daughter's 2006 Ford Escape in February 2017.My daughter and her friend were driving from Boston to the friend's parents' house at Stratton when the radiator of my daughter's escape failed and the engine failed from overheating because she did not shut it off in time.Based on the recommendation of our friends, we had it towed to Coleman's, where they could diagnose the repairs on Monday after the weekend. The damage was extensive and the best fix was to replace the engine with a good, used engine. Plus a new radiator of course.Cost was obviously a concern and we wanted to make sure that we got a good replacement that would perform well and last a long time. Coleman's worked with us and described the costs and mileages of various engine choices and they sourced one that had much lower mileage on it than the original engine, quoted us an all in price and provided a six month warranty on parts and labor.The work was finished when promised, everything worked well and now, nearly 18 months and 23,000 miles later, the engine is performing perfectly. It is quiet, powerful and burns no oil between changes. In other words, Coleman's did a good and honest job of sourcing a good engine and installing it and everything else with it with no problems after all this time.It is always a bit scary to have to deal with an unknown mechanic a couple hundred miles away from home but Coleman's did their job expertly and at a fair price.I would not hesitate to go to Coleman's again if the need ever arises while I am in the area.

Great experience with Coleman s Auto. Dean Jr was very helpful. Diagnosed the problem with my moms car within an hour (on MLK holiday) and had parts in and radiator fixed the next day. Honest pricing and good people.

Love these guys. Excellent service, so polite and friendly, clean, reasonable rates, cant say enough good about them. We bring all of our cars and trucks to them--GMC Sierra, my son's Trailblazer, my Saab, my Honda hybrid...they service all of them. They ROCK.

This is my worst experience EVER at an auto repair shop. Never have I been treated so rudely as a paying female customer. I was told to never come back after I asked them to show me why my car failed inspection. Dean Giaonotti, the young man who was supposedly helping me cursed and swore the entire time I was there. Business must be good to treat a lady so despicably. Go anywhere BUT Coleman's unless you are looking for verbal abuse!!

As other have mentioned Coleman's really came to our rescue during a recent failed camping trip in Vermont. We were staying at a bed and breakfast about 15 miles away in Weston on our way to Northern VT for a camping trip. As we pulled in to the parking lot the brakes gave out on our truck. After speaking with one or two other shops in the area who would not commit to getting our truck fixed within the two day time span we had left, I called Coleman's and they assured me they would get to work on it right away. They also said, barring anything crazy that happened, they would definitely have it done for us by the end of the day we needed to head home. Well they came through on their word and had our truck fixed and ready to go at 10 AM on the morning we needed to head home. Excellent job Coleman's and thank you. If you need service anywhere in the southern VT area, don't bother calling anywhere else just call Coleman's.

Worst service ever. I ordered winter tires. They said im gonna get them in couple of days. Two weeks later I called them and asked what happened with my tires. They said they need a time to check and they will give me call back. But they didnt so I came to garage again. Guy told me the same that they need time. Next day they finally called me and said its gonna take another couple days and ill get tires on wednessday or thursday... I waited to saturday... tried to reach them. Nobody picked up the phone. So in fact i used to wait for my tires almost a month and i never got them. So I had to open dispute to refund my money back.

If your looking for the max quote you can find you found the right place. They charge three times the amount of the part and the labor is insanely priced as well. I m surprised these thieves have made it around here. I will never go back and urge you to change yourmind before even bringing it cause they will charge you to even look at your car!
