Deerings is a generational family business servicing a large swath of rural residence and travelers on RT 100 in central VT. Needless to say they are always busy and the cars they work on traverse some pretty tuff roads. As a local I can depend on there knowledge, experience, and expertise to keep me safe and my vehicles running optimally.Service: Tire change

Called on a Monday, car scheduled to get tires changed and front brake pads and rotors for Wednesday. Followed up Tuesday to confirm, car was dropped off Tuesday night. Nobody called me, so I checked in Wednesday, the car was forgotten and they had to ask what work it was in for again, tires and front brakes. Was told they would get it done the next (Thursday) morning. Another day of zero communication, car was still not done as of Thursday afternoon. Picked up my car Thursday afternoon having had no work done to it, I'll go find a mechanic who takes their job and customers seriously.

I have been taking my car here for a couple of years and I cannot speak highly enough of Deerings Service Center. My engine had trouble late at night and Rose was able to help me fix my car enough to make it back to Boston. I am incredibly grateful for her time and care. She even asked me to drive it a little bit and then come back to tell her it was running okay.

Avoid! There is a lack of communication, work is being done without consultation of the vehicle owner. You will get a surprise bill
