This place was a Godsend to us as we were driving through Vermont and the transmission in my van went just as we got off the exit where Moonlight Auto is. Tom and Dennis were above and beyond nice and helpful to us in our situation. We had extremely limited options to be able to continue our trip, and to even get back home. Tom helped arrange a rental for us and was extremely generous allowing us to keep the van on his lot for over a week until I could get it towed back to CT. I m very grateful for them and hope for great success in their business. Thanks so much guys!Service: Transmission

Tom was Exceptional!My friends and I were on vacation when my brakes went on my Jeep. Tom went out of his way to help us and made sure that we were safe.He literally rescued us, fixed my Jeep in one day and got us back on track with our great vacation in Vermont.We will make it a point to stop in at Moonlight Auto every year when we visit.Tom will forever be our Vermont Friend and Hero. Professional and friendly people. I live locally and needed my car inspected they took it right in and had it done within 15 minutes, which was awesome because I had to bring my baby. They even offered to drive me back to my house if needed. Will be returning!

A year ago I got a car from here. When I brough it to my mechanic it wouldn't pass inspection. My mechanic thought it odd the 'check engine' light wasn't on so removed the panel to see what was going on. Behind the panel where all the warning lights are (gas, cruise control check engine etc.) were balled up pieces of electrical tape blocking them out. When Tom was asked about this he denied any knowledge and assured me the previous owners had no trouble with the vehicle and had taken good care of it. Things spiraled out of control from there. One costly repair after another. Long story short I have invested over THREE TIMES what was paid for the vehicle. Yes, it's a used car & I expected to put money into it but not this much. Tom was not interested in making any kind of amends for selling this lemon to an out of state buyer. Shoppers beware.

The owner Denise is an extremely unprossenial business owner. Went to look at a vehicle today, when politely asked to put on the lift to check out the exhaust which was leaking. He went back to one of his friends and started bashing my husband and I. When my husband went over to speak with him, he turned around and started swearing at my husband, calling him very foul names. Do not give this man business, he wants to get away with selling junk cars. We drove an hour away to be cursed out bevause we were trying to make sure we were about to purchase a safe car for our daughter. I ve never had a worse experience before, he needs to get his issues in check befor pulling this on another customer

I am from NJ and had a car problem while staying in VT. I went to Moonlighting Garge and they took care of my car immediately and fairly. They could have charged me a lot more and made me wait, but li blinked my eyes and my problem was solved. I wish I lived in the area to make these guys my full time mechanics!

Dude told me when I bought it everything is good no lights nothing after 150 miles a light come on went to Bradford to check it they said I don t have enough drive time the codes had been cleared the place is shady
