Our stairlift that my 92 year old father uses stopped working, I called and spoke with Matt and he was very caring, concerned and helpful. We didn t purchase this lift from them but that didn t matter. He came right to the house, told us what we needed and was back in a matter of days with what we needed to get it up and running. Great customer service, very personable and got the job done quickly.

From the first phone call I knew I was in good hands with Upward Mobility. Matt and Justin went above and beyond showing my family compassion and care as we made arrangements for a stair lift for my Father. Unfortunately, my Father passed away before the installation of the stairlift and this company continued to impress us. They worked with me through every step and had the best customer service. Thank you Matt, Justin and the entire Upward Mobility team for being there for our family! 10/10 would recommend for all your mobility needs.

We looked all over Burlington to different medical stores to find a controller for our lift chair, which was very old. Our last hope was to go to Upward Mobility, and we couldn't believe that this place had everything anyone would need. They had it in stock. Couldn't ask for a better place to do business with

I've rented motorized scooters from upward mobility multiple times for when my mother comes to visit Vermont. Friendly people, Fair pricing and nice scooters that are easily transportable in an SUV.

We rented a wheelchair for use on vacation and the service was wonderful! So nice and accommodating and the quality of the chair we rented was perfect - it allowed our whole party to enjoy our vacation. They also gave a great recommendation for a local restaurant. When we go back, we will definitely call them again.

This company is fantastic. My entire experience from when Joerg answered the phone providing great customer service and information to Justin coming to evaluate my stairway to the installation to resolving & replacing a defective part has been exceptional. The stairlift has allowed us to stay in our home. Thank you!!

Jack and Susan are great. Last year we were looking for a mobility scooter and Jack let us in on a Sunday to check things out. They have a large selection of scooters as well as other mobility items. We came back to purchase the scooter and Susan showed us how to get it in our van. Both are very pleasant and fun to work with - no pressure. During our conversation we learned they also serviced stair chairs ...even one s they didn t sell.Now we are in the process of moving and need our chair removed from the strairway for the movers. I asked Jack if he could help us and immediately agreed. This morning he arrived exactly on time, checked over the chair for us and took it off the rail. He d aleady spoken to the new owners about reinstalling the chair.Having to deal with mobility issues is difficult enough, we are so happy to have met the folks at Upward Mobility. They have certainly improved our quality of life. We highly recommend them.

We had purchased a lift chair in a hurry after my husband fell on black ice and fractured 6 ribs. It was a god send, but the upholstery broke down quickly because we have two rescue pups who would just jump up on it to look out the window. Tried to repair but the sticky material didn't stick and it was a total mess - and uncomfortable. Researched alot. Went to Upward Mobility - they were terrific. Listened to our needs and we selected a wonderful lift chair - get this ---delivered in an hour or so! Don't waste your time - this is the place to go! Really appreciate their advice and excellent service.

My mother broke her leg and landed in UVM for 2 weeks, and they would not release her until her house had been made wheelchair-accessible. Upward Mobility was on-site within three hours of us being told by her doctors she would need a ramp, and they had it ordered, shipped and installed within a week. As the van was dropping my mom off in her new wheelchair they were finishing the ramp and she was able to take the first roll up it right when she arrived home. Couldn't have done it without Upward Mobility. Thank you!

I spent a lot of time looking for a lift/recliner chair for my 98-year-old mother, and wish I had looked here first. ...we wanted a smaller, space-saver chair with a simple control, and she had one in stock and was able to deliver it the same day. Delivery was prompt and delivery person delightful. The obvious first stop for someone in our area with mobility issues.

My mobility is generally somewhat limited, and a recent surgery limited it even further (to the point where getting to/from my second floor was quite problematic); I needed a stair-lift. I looked around on the web and found Upward Mobility (conveniently, they're just up the street and stair-lift rentals are an option).A call into Upward Mobility on Thursday got the ball rolling. Jack (the owner) dropped by the next day to take measurements, prepped the rails over the weekend, and then installed everything (with Chris, his assistant) on Monday.In other words, it took a whole four calendar days (two of which were over a weekend), to turn this whole thing around...and it all just worked. Obviously, this kind of service is stellar (and, at least in my experience, exceedingly difficult to find).Having limited mobility sucks hard, but the stair-lift really helps. And, I *highly* recommend Upward Mobility - they made this whole process trivial. Thanks a lot Jack!

The McIntyre's were customers of mine, and were one of my favorites as they were very professional, fun, and so, so kind to me. I would recommend anyone that needs mobility help; to consider Upward Mobility as their first choice, so they can have the correct guidance towards their needs, and have professional support before and after the sale. Ease of mobility and access is extremely important for people in need, and there is no point in taking the risk of being misguided, so use Upward Mobility to guide you and help make life easier.

My mother was hit while snowplowing in our yard by a drunk driver in December. Now she has major back and neck damage. Just this weekend she had mini strokes and has to now be extra careful. Today we purchased a chair to help her before she got home. We can not thank Upward Mobility enough for all of the support and help we got today.

Upward mobility is the place to go for all your needs! I would highly recommend you go check out the variety of options this store has. Try out the new recliners ! Take a spin in a new scooter ! All of the staff hers are honest loyal to their customers !

Very customer service oriented. We have purchased several items including wheelchair, lift recliner, adjustable tables etc. We also rented some items post-surgery. I highly recommend them.

Thanks for your note that cats have a hard time scratching the Brisa fabric. I know that Brisa is rated at 300,000 double rubs. Very durable.
