I ll never go here again. They left an entire quart of unopened oil in my engine compartment. It rubbed on my belt system so much that it cut the bottle and caused oil to go all over my engine as well as do unknown damage to my belts. Also, they left tools inside the cab of my truck. $100 for them to do sloppy work and who knows what damage to my vehicle.Do your car a favor and skip this place.Service: Oil change

Years ago, I had my oil changed and some work done at the South Burlington location and it had been years since I went there for service. Realized they are in Essex Jct too so I went for an oil change and the tech got me in quick. My oil was changed in about 20-25 minutes. Super professional and I will definitely go back for service in the near future.Service: Oil change

First off, I called about 6 different shops this morning and Oil n Go was the only one that sounded like it was run by kind and respectful people who were genuinely interested in helping me out, asking me what kind of car I drove and were transparent about price from start to finish, etc.This was my first visit to an Oil n Go shop and I was pleasantly surprised at how helpful and team-oriented they all were together, even amidst a busy Saturday. I went in for 100k mile maintenance and it only took a short hour for the list of things this entails-- and I didn't come out broke! What a concept! Grateful y'all are in business near my home. Thank you. Will definitely return.

These guys are the best! Especially Jeff who seems to be the one I always talk to. I started bringing my car here when I lived close by and continue to come now from South Hero because they are so great. Highly recommend for everything from your routine oil change to bigger jobs as well.

I use oil and go on Susie Wilson rd in essex. It is fast and they are nice to deal with. Never had a bad time here.

Can t believe I haven t reviewed this place yet - been going for years! This crew is stretched thin like everyone/everywhere else, but they ve always been straight with me and time and time again I ve seen them do everything they can to help me and anyone else who walks through those doors whenever and however they can. Can t tell you how many times they ve come through for me at the Essex location. Sometimes last minute emergency appointments sometimes just friendly reliable consistent thorough scheduled maintenance. These guys work their tails off to help people and I can t recommend enough you won t be sorry give them your business and they ll take good care of you. -A loyal long time customer!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Wiper blade installation, Oil change

Very quick service, we got an oil change and the guy (didn't get his name unfortunately) said he would get to us in about fifteen minutes and it was probably five. The oil change was probably about 20-25 minutes and they were very busy at the time. They also seem to do just about everything at their shop. Thanks Oil N' Go!

Your tech failed to locate a one inch long piece of metal that had punctured my tire and was causing leakage. I was charged with tire repair. I returned to your facility with the tire after locating the damage myself, and ask for a refund. Your supervisor on duty refused the refund, and was rude. I informed him that I would no longer be using your company for maintenance on any of my vehicles, and that I would inform other friends and associates of the incident and poor service.He said that was fine, as if my business was not a priority. Very disappointed...

Friendly and fast service every time I ve gone here! Fastest oil change was less than 15 minutes! I ve never had to wait more than 30 minutes for an oil change. Their oil changes are very thorough (includes vacuuming, fluid checks, light checks, and so much more). Great way to support a local Vermont business

I cannot recommend this place enough! I have a new-to-me older car (2011) and needed to get an oil change and a few questions answered. The folks are awesome! They were open in letting me know I could get a few more weeks out of the oil if I wanted to push the oil change out a bit, which was more honesty than I've ever seen in a service. They went as far as to walk me out on the garage floor to explain everything they did and anything that I should keep an eye on. I really appreciated them being kind and willing to answer my questions. I'll be going to them for all future car maintenance!

Called ahead and was able to schedule my inspection ($65) a week out. Showed up, and I was instructed to wait (table outside or chairs inside) staff were professional and were wearing masks. They provided quick service and were able to advise me about what my car may get docked points for/what may be of concern in the future. I really appreciated their information and friendly customer service.

Stopped by an hour before I had to be at an appointment and they were quite busy. I asked how long for a basic oil change and was told 30-40 minutes. I explained I had an appointment in one hour. I went inside to wait in a full waiting area, and about 20 minutes later, I was told they were done. I really appreciate the fact that they did all they could to get me in and out in a timely manner.Service: Oil change

Those guys are amazing. I brought my car after being low in air, they took me in a heartbeat and drove it inside the shop and inflated the tires free or charge. We are taking here about a very cold winter day where it is freezing cold, and someone walks out to help you on their work hour for free. Wow, that is very kind. I will always give you my business in the future for showing such kindness!

I have trusted Oil n go for my oil changes for the past two years and have never had an experience that was anything less than perfect. They re courteous, fast, reasonably priced and take the time to explain any issues they find. They re also upfront about the cost and give detailed explanations for any recommendations they make. Highly recommended!

The service was awesome! I called to see if they had availability, they said to come down before they close. Sure enough, I pulled up, someone helped me right away. I wanna say less than 30 minutes and I was back on the road.

I recently used the Essex Oil and Go location to do a break inspection/service. Upon completion of inspection I was contacted and informed of the cost of service. When I questioned the high price they mentioned pricing had been severely affected by covid. Being preoccupied with work obligations and having minimal time to address the issue I went ahead and approved the work to be done.In the end I understand that I approved this work but I also feel future customers should be aware.Charging 200% on parts for a break service is borderline unethical.The hourly rate/cost of service that Oil and Go charges is that of a dealership and the dealership likely wont charge you 200% on parts, no shop I have ever been to has charged me 200% on parts.- Response To OwnerOn one hand you claim to have not done anything unethical yet on the other try to defend your actions by claiming that the current climate justified the cost to customer. You cant have it both ways and attacking the customer is never a good look.I looked up the parts that were placed on my vehicle and again like I stated in my original statement you charged me more than 200% for the parts. You can try to jump around that fact and sweeten it any way you wish but that is a fact.I think future customers should be aware that they may be being charged more than double for parts. I was not aware until after the fact when i had a chance to examine the invoice.On a final note I can not hurt your business You have control over the image you put forth by the service you provide. Nothing i said was false or misleading. It explained my experience clearly and concisely so that others are informed, that is what reviews are for right.Your response was interesting to say the least and I think it speaks volumes within itself.Best of luckService: Brakes

Walk in appointments. Exceptionally fast and good service. 20 minutes from handing off my keys to getting them back for a basic oil change. Checked the basics - oil, lights, tires, wiper fluid etc. About $60 total. Will definitely bring my cars there for their regular oil service.

I went here concerned that I had a potential oil leak (found an oil like substance on garage floor). The team took my car in right away and 15m later had gotten it on a lift and found no trace of a leak or any other potential issue. They quickly put my mind at ease and had me back on the road quickly. Very professional and friendly team, I will definitely use them again in the future and will recommend them to others.

Fast, easy oil change experience. One star taken off because manager was really not friendly at all. However, the mechanic that explained to me the checks they did to my vehicle was super nice, and made sure I understood everything.

Staff were friendly enough but I just wasted my afternoon there. I failed an inspection and was advised that I needed new brakes. Waited a further 1.5 hours for them to put on some new brakes only to be told after all that time sitting around and losing business that they didn't have the right parts. Still charged me the $55 inspection fee which I suppose I can't really be upset about but that would have been a nice gesture for the wasted time. I've learnt my lesson and will only get future work done at a dealership.

I was told my car needed a new ball bearing and control arm 500-700 bucks during my oil change. I brought it to my mechanic for a second opinion and there was nothing wrong with the front end! Also they said they vaccuumed and topped off fluids which also turned out to be untrue. I wonder what else they didn't do honestly. It's pretty dissapointing because the location is convenient and service is quick but service is bad.

Went in for an oil change and was very please with their customer service and overall service on my car. Wait was long but it's really not too bad. If your car takes synthetic oil, request the regular synthetic oil instead of the name brand one and save yourself 20 bucks. Cheers!

They never replaced my thermostat which they charged me for! I had to pay another mechanic to do the same job following and found it was not the thermostat I purchased. It wasn't even close but yet was charged for services. When contacting the business multiple times had to deal with the mouthy abusive POS manager who refused to take responsibility for their negligence. Never again. Reccomend going elsewhere for all services including oil change

I have been going here for oil changes for 3 years. Until recently I haven't had a problem. Within the last month I've tried to go in for a transmission fluid change for my Dodge Dart. Long story short ended up visiting this place 3 times for this service. I spoke to 3 different employees each one giving me a different answer about whether or not they carry the correct fluid. I finally got in for the service, sat there for 30 minutes only to be told they can't do it because they don't have a special dip stick needed for this model car. Nobody bothered to check and see if they could even properly perform this service after I had spent a month trying to schedule it. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

They consistently do the work I need done and tell me what they did and why. I just went in for an inspection and they were happy to check a few things out for me before they stared the inspection process. I love that I don't need an appointment to get an oil change.
