Earlier this evening I was in Essex around 7:00 and I found a nail in my tire. I went into a gas station with maybe hopes I could fill it with fix a flat to make the 40 min drive home. I happened to see a guy buying drinks and I asked him if he thought my idea would work. he told me to follow him to his shop and he could repaired my tire with a plug, free of charge no matter how much I tried to convince him of payment. he went above and beyond with his family in the car to take less then 10 min to help me out and I couldn t have be more thankful for his kindness so I 1000% recommend his auto shop! We need more people on the world like him. Thank you so much Nate

First off, excellent work and excellent customer service! I came in for some repair to my exhaust, an oil change, checking the stretch on my timing chain, and diagnosing a suspected bad wheel bearing. Not only were they able to complete all scheduled work on time, they were also able to complete the wheel bearing replacement after confirming the issue. They covered more work than expected and still returned my vehicle to me at the estimated timeThe service team was communicative, prompt, and knowledgeable. The mechanics provided detailed descriptions of the work that was completed and included as much info as possible.The folks at Nate's Auto are top notch, and provide service that is beyond quality. 10/10 would recommend them as a high integrity, responsive, and highly knowledgeable team

Nate's is a cut above the rest. They do a great job with our Tesla's and are highly recommended among the local Tesla owners group. Road Force balancer does an awesome job. Honest, enthusiastic and transparent.

On 1/16/24, I took the car in (my first time and based on a recommendation) to check for possible brake line rusting. Not only did they give me a clean bill of health, they took me to the shop and showed me all lines so I could see that they were fine. Excellent customer service.

Another great service experience with Will and Cory at Nate's. They were able to diagnose, order parts and complete work all in the same day! They are quick and professional and fair. This is hard to find these days!

Always courteous and accommodating if possible. Prices are fair and they work on all my vehicles, of which none are European sports cars! Give them a try and you ll see.

Johnny was so easy to talk with. He explained what was needed, in detail and my truck runs very smoothly, now.I was delighted the work cost several hundred less than Key GMC s quote and instead of an all day repair at Key, Nate s Automotive only took 2 hours.Services: Auto exhaust system repair, Brakes, Auto brake replacement

My Audi A4 was towed in with a starter issue. Will was able to work with my extended warranty company to keep my cost of repair to a minimum. Despite knowing About Nates auto for years as a reputable shop in the area, I had never bought or brought a car there. That changed when my BMW diesel had an issue my normal Mechanic did not have the resources for. I would much rather give my business to a local business than a dealership any day, so I instantly thought of Nates auto. I worked with Johnny top to bottom, and when the job took longer than expected due to parts that needed to be replaced, they made extra accommodations. When I got my car back, not only was the original job completed, but other previously undiscovered repairs were made as well (with my approval of course). This has been a lingering issue for sometime that Nate and his crew were able to take care of for me in one trip. Thanks guys!

I had my car towed to Nate's after my wife was in an accident. Nate towed it himself. Had to come back and see if the car was totaled or not. Their team there was able to just look at it and tell me that it was totaled and not to worry about the insurance company wanting to try to fix it. Great service and they were extremely friendly. Thanks for all your help.

Wow the entire staff at Nates is incredible, everyone is happy to see you and smiling. The service is top notch. Cory is a master of his profession, his follow up not just during the job but after as well is spot on and simply is not something found these days. This is not just a job to these folks its a lifestyle and career. I wont bring my car anywhere else! Thanks for all the help with my BMW M8 See you soon

Brought my car in for a state inspection as my usual mechanic was on vacation. At Nate's they somehow found $1,500 worth of things that needed to be fixed before it would pass inspection. We had our two year old car detailed, I think it might look better than new. We also had a new car ceramic coated and it looks great. Price was fair & competitive, service was excellent including a courtesy ride. Update: Nate's has let me down. After spending thousands of dollars on our 3 vehicles over the last few years, a few things popped up that made us decide to ditch Nate's altogether. First, their inability to diagnose and repair a misfire in our 2012 VW Jetta not only cost us a lot of money but ultimately, we decided to cut our losses and ended up trading it in. Leaking exhaust after a replacement, over tightened lugs, and a missing engine spash tray make a partial list of problems discovered after service. The final nail for us was a HUGE service bill for a steering rack that was leaking which made it fail a state inspection. Ultimately, the steering rack was replaced, the front sub-frame was replaced and an engine mount was replaced! And to top it off, the steering components they used failed a year later! I have lost all confidence in their shop's ability to reliably repair our vehicles. I would advise people who get work done at Nates to check the work that was done, ask for old parts back, and even get a second opinion for repairs if you can. Or you could just go elsewhere like I did.Previous Review: This has become our go-to place for all of our car troubles. The customer service is great and they are willing to work with us when need to work within our budget. Their bills have a detailed breakdown of all of the work performed and they are great at contacting us for authorization before any unscheduled work is done.Most recently, one of our 3 cars needed to be towed to Nate's Automotive for a no-start situation. They were able to quickly find the problem and get it repaired. My wife authorized a 90k-mile checkup while it was there. Their feedback is very important to us to help us plan our budget and keep our vehicles on the road.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Engine repair

I live about an hour away from Nate's. I had my car towed to Nate's needing a new clutch. In talking things through with their very friendly and helpful customer service rep, I decided to additionally have a stage 1 tuning done to my 2003 Audi TT. I couldn't be happier with the end result. The car runs great now. I felt very comfortable dealing with the staff at Nate's and have confidence their mechanics can handle any future repairs on my vehicle. I'm so glad I brought my car to Nate's. They've earned my trust and future business. I highly recommend their services.Services: Transmission, Auto engine tuning, Wheel alignment

Where do I start for Nate's Auto. This team is amazing and then some. I came to see them after speaking to a few body shop places and none even came close to providing the level of detail, attention and general amazing customer service they did. Ed at the bodyshop went above and beyond to make sure my car was in top shape for my upcoming inspection. They managed to fit me in at a very busy time of year and made my car safe and ready for the 2019 winter! I cannot recommend Ed and Nate's enough. Nate, the owner of the entire place is just as wonderful. He personally made sure to greet me, understand my concerns and by the end of my appointment, he felt like a friend! Excellent customer service and incredible craftsmanship. Highly recommended!

Awesome guys over here. They were able to repair my new 2021 Amg in a very timely manner. Even with the parts being on order and not super easy to find after a small fender bender they took great care of my car. Looks brand new! Highly recommend them for anything when it comes to cars. Done tuning previous here and it was great. Anything you need for your car give them a call. Paint looks great. Body work or whatever it may be give them a call!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

tl;dr Awesome shop, great staff, no BS.We've consistently used Nate's for the work on our cars: from basic work on our minivan to building the engine to stage 1+ on our turbocharged German speed machine, their work has been great. It's awesome to be able to have a discussion with a shop that can convey to a non mechanic what is happening as well as preventative options to help cars last in the brutal Vermont weather. I brought my vehicle into Nate's Automotive for a car detail. These guys fit me into their schedule in a timely fashion. The customer service was incredible from William and Tim. not only did they make my car look better and smell better than it ever has been they also were able to give me a last minute oil change within the same time frame. I highly recommend Nate's Automotive and you best believe I'm going back!

They rank high in all aspects of being professional, friendly, timely manner, getting the job done, informative etc...I recommend stopping in to meet the staff. I've been using Nate's for years, and they have gone out of their way to help me out of a jam or two. This week I used their body shop after a small fender bender. They got my car back to me in tip-top shape, and two days faster than estimated. The Cory, Shawna and the entire staff are excellent to work with. Clearly, they understand customer service very well.

Fantastic! I had my timing belt replaced here and they were very punctual. When my engine's temperature light went on a week later (due to normal air bubbles), Nate's helped me immediately. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable-- they are truly masters of customer service and automotive care.

Nates auto is hands down the best body shop I have ever used. They do quality work at very reasonable price. What separates them from everyone else is the customer service. I had the pleasure working with Shawna and she went above and beyond to help. I was hit by another driver and Shawna did all the coordination with the other insurance company, not only that but when the other insurance company tried to take my rental before the shop was finished she was able to get it extended.Any issues that came up it took one phone call to Shawna and it was handled. I am fairly new to the area but they will always have my business for as long as I m here.I highly recommend using them for any work that needs to be done on your car!

Nate s goes way above and beyond! I have brought cars in previously for service but recently needed some body work done and Nate s, as usual, did an amazing job! The staff is friendly, approachable, and extremely knowledgeable, taking time to explain what they re doing and why and happy to answer any questions I have. Highly recommend!

Nate s Automotive has serviced my Audi a few times and they re my preferred shop. I like to think I m rather meticulous regarding how my car is serviced. I ve found a few minor mistakes that Nate was willing to either correct and/or acknowledge. With that said they ve also performed some complicated services for me with expertise. I ll be back again.
