I have never been to a camp ground that locks their bathrooms and showers at night unless they have a code for the door. They close the office on Sunday night and don't answer their phones to Wednesday morning. There is no emergency contact number either. The wifi is hit or miss but it is up in the mountains so no surprise there. We were planning on extending our stay but realized we were glad we only booked it for 1 week. Went to take showers at 930 on Monday morning but doors were still locked. No signs informing us that the showers and bathrooms would be unavailableWe have all these items in our trailer but we pick camp grounds that have restrooms expecting they will be available 24 hrs

This place is GREAT! Great food and top notch service! We had apps and bar food entres. The Rueben was especially delicious, on marble bread, stacked with meat and all the toppings. Our table would also recommend the boneless wings, they were finger licking good.A special addition was the music that was played. Not too loud but a really good selection..adding to the ambiance. We ll definitely be back!!!

Mid-October, we were traveling through Vermont and New Hampshire in our 38' Fifth Wheel camper and discovered most of the campgrounds were closed. The host for Alpine Valley was very gracious in allowing us to stay for two nights even though the campground was closed. I cannot comment on any of the amenities since all were closed and we had to be self-contained. The campground is small, set in a very beautiful area. Our site was perfectly level and full service. I would definitely go back earlier in the season.

Nice grassy lots. A lot of convenience close by. The campground itself boasts a nice restaurant with choices to make everyone in your party happy. From burgers and pizza to seafood dinners. The laundromat is the best we have seen at a campground. Owners are pleasant and helpful. I'm sure we'll be back.

Very fresh and amazing food! Just had the prime rib and it was amazing if that wasn t enough spend a few minutes getting to know the owners. They are the kind of good people that are hard to find in this world today my favorite place hands down!

The walk in the park is a fantastic meal! Others in my party got the fried mushrooms and the long hill Rueben. All were great!

This is a combined rating of the restaurant and the RV campground. I'm leaning toward the favorable side as the restaurant was quite good for us and the RV site was just adequate.-The food and service at the restaurant were both quite good. The price was fair for the area and the dishes we ordered.-The RV site had a few issues. First, the turns into and out are a bit tight for a big RV. Second, there was only 30a power, at least at our sight. Third, the short stay sites are directly off the main road (US 2) so there is a fair bit of road noise during the day (gotta love big trucks with jack brakes). Fourth, information (rules, mail, campground facilities like bathroom) has to be dug out bit by bit. There is no designated dog area and no support is provided except for the weird support by inquiry as to whether I had a bag with me to retrieve poo. In the moment, I thought that it was a fellow camper in need of logistical support not some sideways way of informing me of the requirement to retrieve. Is there any RV park that encourages leaving your dog waste wherever they deposit it? The lot is all grass and packed rock which is tolerable but not ideal. I won't go further into my perception of weird personality by one of the campground managers. Maybe he was just acting in a normal manner for this area. I dunno. I ain't from around here. All in all, would I stay here again? Well, nothing would necessarily prevent it but I would spend some time looking at other options. I wasn't necessarily disappointed but it won't go on my short list. In sum, the restaurant was slightly above my expectation and the RV park was somewhat below my hopes.

We did not have the privilege of camping here but happened to stop when our granddaughter had to use the bathroom. She had already been crying for the last 20 mins. Thank you for letting us use the facilities! So appreciative!

This place is a gem. We were in Vermont this past week to attend the annual mountain bike festival and found this place. It has everything an RVer and a tent camper need. It's very convenient because there's a store/ restaurant in the front and another restaurant called mooselook right across the street. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The owners are very approachable and helped us find a suitable spot when our electricity wasn't working. They don't designate you a spot, you can just choose where you want to camp because the place is big. Just take not that it gets busy and spots fill up faster towards the end of the week.

The Alpine Valley RV Park & Campground is at the top of my list to recommend to not only fellow Bicyclists to stay for a visit but to all Campers. The owners and Staff are 1st Class. The food too is 1st Class.Myself (from Nova Scotia, CA) and 3 other Bicyclists from New Brunswick, CA were very fortunate to include Alpine Valley in our itinerary.Thank You, Alpine Valley.

Alpine Valley also has resturant that's open 7 days a week at 6am. It's across the road from the closed Mooselook Resturant. The prices are good as the service and food. Very clean and friendly.

Medium sized RV park set in the trees with a restaurant/pub. Medium sized sites with full hook ups. Features like a bath house, laundry, store, pool, playground, and propane round out the line up.

We are touring through canada and the US with 2 small RV's. We came from Acadia National Park and were going to Lake Placid. We stayed at Alpine Valley RV because it was halfway and didn't expect much of the campground. The campside was way beyond our expectations! Friendly people, a nice supermarket and a restaurant for breakfast and dinner at the campground and the restrooms are nice and clean, free showers. There is a pretty big playground for kids and a swimmingpool. The campground is next to a road but for one night the cars didn't bother us much. The campground is nearby White Mountain national forest and inexpensive (40$ a night per rv), especially for all the facilities the site has. We definetly recommend this campground.

Not much to choose from in menu, Hamburgs, hot sandwiches, which was sliced deli meat & can gravy, well not go again ! Waitress was rude, when I ask if this was all they had for a lunch menu & than she said they didn't have two other things they were out of, so no 2 is to much!
