Charlie, Tim and the rest of the team at Six Star are irrefutably among the best mechanics in the area. As an automotive enthusiast I am extremely selective about who I trust my beloved vehicle with, and Six Star is atop my list of shops that I trust to treat it like they would their own. You will always receive great service at a reasonable price from Six Star Motors.

These guys are great at what they do. They're very reasonably priced and honest with you about what it will cost. As a car owner with little knowledge of a car's inner workings it's great to be able to just chat with Tim or Charlie. They've definitely helped to keep my car on the road.

Amazing mechanic! I've never owned a vehicle that has run better for longer. He keeps my Subaru Outback in tip top shape! There haven't been any sudden stressful sudden repairs ever since I trusted it to Tim's skilled hands. I always struggled to find an honest, straightforward mechanic. However, that frustration is a thing of the past since Six Star Motors has my back and is going to continue being amazing bc it's an excellent business!Also it took me over a year, but I finally realized that there are six stars in Subaru's logo. And this is Six Star Motors, which specializes in Subarus. That clever name is likely just a sliver of the entirety of Tim's thorough mechanical knowledge. Like a drop in the well of his expertise. Thanks Timothy Pratt, for being a Subaru powerhouse and an honest individual to do business with.

I was turned onto Six Star by a friend a few years ago. Charlie and Tim are simply awesome. Honest, fair and upfront. Good office to hangout in if you need to wait while they work on your car.I live in Waitsfield and make the drive up whenever I have an issue with my Subaru (their specialty).

Tim does good work at a good price. If you've got a Subaru, this is the place to go. You don't feel like he's trying to put one over on you, he is always very up from and open about what goes into the price of the service.

These guys are top notch mechanics. They have tons of experience, and understand the practicalities of Vermont driving. They're not only courteous, professional and technical, they're local and they give a damn about your car and your safety through proper maintenance and quality service.

These guys replaced my clutch and were communicative and professional every step of the way.That aside, I m unsure if they do anything other than major repairs. Have called and left messages for an oil change but no one has returned my calls.

I recently purchased a vehicle that was inspected 4/2019. After the exhaust clearly failed 2 months later, I brought it to a mechanic not far from where I work. I was shown the cracks in the tires, the rust along the entire exhaust system, the faulty breaks, and the rot from the front end to the back end. The car was only driven 3000 miles between the inspection and the time of purchase. I'm eternally grateful that the tires didn't blow out while I was driving and that no one - including myself - was injured while driving this extremely unsafe car.DO NOT bring your vehicles here for inspection unless you know you need to screw someone over. You might not even get the chance to as the DMV is currently looking into this joke of a shop.

They do very good work at a reasonable price and can usually see me pretty quickly. The only thing that keeps it from being five stars is that every time I've been there I've had to go out back to find someone to help me up front, even with there being a buzzer on the door. That doesn't really detract from the experience too much for me, but it's just something to note that if you just need to drop off and leave quickly don't be afraid to poke your head into the garage and ask for some help. Very helpful, fast turn around and good prices.My car had been going there it's whole life before I'd bought it from it's previous owner, and when I initially called about the issue I was having the guy on the phone after hearing the make and model asked "Oh, was this (owner's name)'s car? That's a great car - really well taken care of!" which really gave me the extra push to go there rather than shopping around, knowing they actually remembered it even after some time away.

After having nothing but problems with Burlington Subaru, I was recommended this place by a friend. Tim was great and I was very happy with the work he did. I will only be going to this place from now on to have my Subaru worked on.

Just started taking my car to Six Stars Motors and I am very pleased with the service. The waiting room is clean and comfortable. They clearly explained to me what they had done and what would needed to be done in the future.

Best and most reliable service. Honest, fair, and knowledgeable... the most you can ask for in your mechanic! My whole family brings their vehicles to them for any issues and tires. Definitely recommend.

Got my baby back! Six Star Motors, Colchester did a great job on my clutch. Runs better than when I first purchased it. Tim saved me about $500! 6-Stars!

Their website says they service all makes and models. Called to make an appointment as they re right next to my work and they would not service my vehicle because it s not a Subaru, Honda or Toyota. Inconvenient and they should probably update their website.
