Once you dive into the world of standalone ECUs, you ll find that VEMS is a truly incredible option that transforms your car beyond just more power. I shipped my 87 951 to VEMS for an ECU install and tune, and like most projects that involve old 80s cars, there were quite a few items to address along the way. Jason and Nick are so good at what they do, and boy are they smart. Coordinating this project from afar was a total breeze- Jason kept me fully updated with regular email follow-ups and photos, and when the car was ready but the snow had hit, he was kind enough to let me store it in his shop.Seeing the shop in person when I picked up the car was a blast, especially seeing the cool projects and customer vehicles that are over there. I ve got a permanent grin when I drive my now 400+ hp 951, and the drive-ability is just superb. I cannot wait to work with these guys again - don t hesitate to contact them (whether you live in VT or not) if you want to get a standalone ECU and proper tune on your daily, race car, classic, etc. I took a shot on working with these guys and their product, and I am just ecstatic how everything turned out.

Bought a ECU standalone for me 95 VW Golf 2.0.Great communication every step of the way to let me know how much they had completed or needed to finish building ECU.Once I finally installed it, I reaches out for help from them because I wasn't getting any power to it. Again great communication! Told me what to do and try and got it all working correctly

Both of my modified turbocharged Subarus have been tuned by VEMS and I am super happy with the results. Driveability is great, and Nick is very helpful when making recommendations on a build. Nick was able to achieve a great running, reliable tune on both cars -- my WRX via an AccessPort and my specB using the Open Source approach. Highly recommend VEMS! I'll be switching my WRX to a standalone Link ECU in the future and no doubt I'll bring it back to VEMS when its ready for tuning.

My experience with VEMS has only been the beginning of what is sure to be a great relationship. My WRX blew up back in March, that night Nick had a quote for me with a detailed plan for my new RA block, Killer B pickup and windage tray, new turbo, the works! The whole process was very transparent and I couldnt be happier with the work! In two weeks I'll be back for my final tune and will definitely be back for any future performance needs!

Writing this review right after picking up my 2002 WRX wagon from its tune. Vems was very helpful and informative throughout the entire process. When I first brought my car in they immediately told me I had a knock sensor code I d need to fix before it could be tuned, they didn t waste any time and told me exactly what I would need to do to get it fixed and didn t charge me a dime. I brought it back a few weeks later and they got my new injectors, boost controller, and tune done in a days time with no issues. Im now making a reliable 306 wheel horsepower and couldn t be happier with my experience. I highly recommend VEMS for anyone in the Burlington or northern Vermont area looking to get their Subaru tuned.

If you want to get the most out of your vehicle you have to come see these guys. Professionalism in a laid back environment. Made sure my tune was perfect before letting me leave. I will absolutely be back for future tunes. And I am definitely recommending them to everyone I know

Nick and Jason were great and very knowledgeable! I was able to watch the process on my 2019 WRX. I'm very happy as my car has no drop off at the 4500RPM range as it continues to climb! Super happy as I will refer anyone to VEMS for tuning needs.Jason R. Shelburne, VT

Ordered a cooling mod for the 2006 Subaru sti. VEMS directed me on what I need and what gaskets to order. Got the item in 2 days coming from the us to Canada. Definitely would be recommending VEMS to anyone that has a Subaru. Thank you!

5 stars, brought my 2017 wrx in with some mods I had someone put on I have know nothing of mechanics. He explained everything so I could understand it and thing I did wrong he helped so I can prolong my car. I highly recommend going here. If I tune another car def will be here.

An excellent option for custom electronics and performance dyno tuning in Northern Vermont. VEMS tuned my Subaru WRX and it runs beautifully. Excellent customer service, with super friendly and knowledgeable staff.
