We stayed in the Wood Lily Suite. It was fantastic. The photos online for the rooms are not up-to-date, the rooms are much more beautiful! We were expecting what was in the photos and were so blown away when we arrived. The entire Inn is gorgeous. The staff was kind and helpful. The location was perfect. We had a really lovely lovely time and will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

I was in Vermont scouting places for an upcoming documentary film and decided to stay here at The Inn at Manchester.I had an absolutely amazing stay at The Inn and most relaxing. I arrived later in the evening and was greeted by the most friendly and professional team. After checking in they provided a full tour of the Inn and left me to enjoy this amazing place. The breakfast was a delightful start to my day, with the eggs, sausage, and buttermilk pancakes being absolutely scrumptious. The rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee further enhanced the experience, setting the perfect tone for our day of relaxation and exploration. The historical estate exuded old-world charm, complete with wood-burning fireplaces that added warmth and character to the atmosphere. The comforting scent of applewood burning made our stay even more enjoyable, and the Cinnamon suite provided a cozy and inviting space for us to unwind. As I woke up to a light snowfall, the morning revealed the true essence of country life, capturing a serene and picturesque scene that truly added to the charm of our stay. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful and unforgettable getaway.I truly hope this review captures the essence of your wonderful time at The Inn at Manchester.Thank you from the Essence of Travel and Discoveries, a KAMAR Media Film Production Company.

We stayed in the Parsley room on the top floor of the inn. I knew it was a small room, but it really didn't matter. The beds and linens were exceptional. It had a smart TV. The bathroom was quaint and the shower was great. Breakfast and coffee each morning were also way above average, and the innkeeper and staff are great. We will definitely come back.

We had a magical three days at the Inn at Manchester on our babymoon. The property is so beautiful, the service above and beyond, and the whole staff made us feel welcome, at home, and really taken care of. The breakfasts were delicious and they gave us many tips for our continued roadtrip through Vermont and great stops and food spots along the way. I hope we can come back and highly recommend a stay for anyone looking for a restorative and special vacation.

I had my wedding at the Inn at Manchester this past March and MAGICAL is the only word to describe it. This was party due to the foot of snow the night before and the softly falling flakes during our outdoor ceremony, however much can be said about the absolutely excellent staff at the Inn. To start with, they were very flexible and willing to let us try new things at their venue. I don't think they host very many outdoor winter weddings, but they let us (carefully) shovel the snow ourselves (thanks groomsmen!) so that we could have an outdoor ceremony.Gretchen and John gave excellent advice on how to find the right vendors for us. I had nothing to worry about the entire wedding day as John had it COVERED. He even hung some string lights on the terrace for us. My wedding day could have had something go wrong and I wouldn't even know. The setup of the barn was just big enough for our 140+ person wedding with a 7-piece band. Every vendor said they loved working there. The rooms were lovely. The breakfast was fantastic. I can't think of a single other thing that I could have asked for!The only thing to note, was the celebration barn does look better (in my opinion) with string lighting which you have to rent. This isn't a negative, just an FYI for future brides and grooms! I also rented siding to tent in and heat the terrace so it could be used in the winter, and my caterer did not supply dishes, so I needed to work with a rental company anyway (Celebration rentals). This is also one of the strengths of this venue, its a bit of a blank slate! They had no issue with me tacking some snowshoes on the wall.In review, I talk up the Inn at Manchester to everyone I know in the hopes that I will get invited to someone else's wedding here (maybe one in the summer this time!). We also plan to go back next year for our anniversary and will likely come visit for years to come. 11/5 stars!

The Inn at Manchester is adorable. Our room (Garden Suite) was spacious, clean, and luxurious. It wasn t noisy at all like you might expect from a B&B, and felt private while having that charm you don t get at a hotel. The staff was amazing and the breakfast was out of this world (dreaming about the pancakes!), and we also really enjoyed the grounds, pools, and drinks in the rocking chairs on the front porch. Walking distance to several cute bars and restaurants. Go stay - you won t regret it!

We held our wedding welcome party and all wedding events at the Inn at Manchester. From the moment we visited the property and met the staff, we knew we had to look no further for a wedding venue. Our expectations were beyond exceeded and we truly had the best weekend of our lives. John, the current event coordinator, was such a pleasure to work with and made sure our entire weekend ran smoothly. All we had to do was show up and just have a good time. The property, the rooms, and the breakfast are also all amazing for guests to stay the weekend. The staff at this family-run Inn are so amazing and accommodating. We could not have asked for a better place to hold our wedding and highly recommend this special place to anyone!

We absolutely loved staying here! The location was great and the grounds were very cute. Check in was a breeze and our room was ready to go. We stayed in the Peach Blossom room - king size bed with amazingly soft sheets, cute seating area and gas fireplace! The room is in the carriage house and so we had our own entrance. They also provide complimentary breakfast which was super yummy. The only thing that was not my favorite was the bathroom. It was big for sure, but no bath and the water pressure isn t the greatest. but overall the Inn is so cozy and cute! Can t wait to go back :)

I normally don t write reviews but my stay at the Inn at Manchester was so wonderful that I must. My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night only but wished we could have stayed longer. Todd was very warm and welcoming upon our arrival. The forget-me-not room was so cozy and comfortable. Waking up to the smell of bacon and pancakes was absolutely amazing - I swear I woke up smiling. To top it off, the breakfast truly was delicious. We would recommend this inn to anyone visiting Manchester. We hope to come back soon!!

My husband and I recently stayed in Bass Room for our eighth wedding anniversary and the experience of staying at the Inn at Manchester was relaxing, enjoyable, and so very positive! Our room was spacious, quit, clean and the views were amazing! The grounds were very well kept, including the pool, it was so nice to sit the rocking chairs in the morning and evening, it was an amazing way to start and end each day. The staff were all very kind and attentive throughout our stay. The breakfast each morning was wonderful, the staff so very welcoming/attentive during breakfast service as well, and it was nice to chat with others staying at the inn. Thank you to all the staff at the inn for their hard work and effort to make our stay so very enjoyable and relaxing, it is very much appreciated! We will definitely be back!

By far One of the best weekends ever! We visited in November of 2021 for our anniversary weekend and it was the perfect time to go! The front desk and check in process was very easy and the staff was so welcoming and helpful. We stayed in a suite room in the barn next to the main building and it was absolutely gorgeous! The room was huge!!!!!! more like an apartment in my opinion. It was immaculate and the bed was so comfortable. The room was very quiet and had all the extra amenities you d ever need! Including a small table top fan for sleep, a plethora of soft fluffy pillows and a mini Keurig. Also the bar soap the give you smells absolutely amazing lol!!! The view of the mountains from our room was incredible to wake up to and sit in the window while we had coffee. The free breakfast was made to order and was delicious. I can t say enough great things about our trip!. We will absolutely be returning!!!

We picked The Inn At Manchester after The Weston failed to open by Spring of 2022. Had stayed in Weston for decades. What a great opportunity to move on as Melanie and I have found our new Inn.Absolutely five stars for all aspects. The Wintergreen room was ours for two nights and we enjoyed the fireplace, large space and an amazing bed in The Carriage House. Each night was enjoyed with a drink from the bar as Virgil served us with humor and warmth-great guy!In the morning, John took care of serving us delicious breakfasts. The owners and staff obviously get it and ensure the guests will be happy.Beautiful property in a wonderful town.

Our stay at The Inn at Manchester was a true delight! The staff were so kind: we enjoyed talking with them each morning & getting advice for our daily itinerary. Upon arrival we were blessed by the staff with a free upgrade to a bigger room since the inn wasn't full during our stay. Breakfast was always delicious--we even tried a local dish called "cottage cakes" (and loved them!). Brian in particular made our trip so memorable. Manchester is a great location: we enjoyed the downtown area but also were able to venture around Southern VT, NH, NY, and even MA. Anyone & everyone will fall in love with The Inn at Manchester!

I had the most pleasant and wonderful experience staying at The Inn at Manchester! Our first encounter with their amazing staff was absolutely welcoming! Virgil greeted us with open arms and made us feel at home. Our room was so cozy and beautiful, I wanted to stay longer. Their breakfast was delicious and most importantly, it was my boyfriend's birthday and they took the initiative to make pancakes, place a candle in the middle and sing Happy Birthday to him. My heart was overjoyed and he was so touched. The other guests were so friendly and sang to him as well Thank you so much for providing an unforgettable experience. We will definitely stay at The Inn at Manchester again and I will be spreading the word about this beautiful place! God bless you

These folks get it. The room was extremely comfortable and tastefully furnished, breakfast was prompt and delicious every morning, and did I mention that there s a FANTASTIC little bar in the evenings? Perfect for a pre-dinner cocktail or nightcap. The location is within walking distance of downtown and some fabulous restaurants. However, what really makes this place are the staff who are cheerful and accommodating and very, very good at what they do. We chose to stay here on a whim, but we will definitely be back.

Can't say enough good things about our stay here! My husband and I came upon this place through a random Google search, and we're so glad we did. The inn is charming -- the rooms are cozy and comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is absolutely delicious, and the staff/owners are incredibly helpful. Definitely ask for their recommendations on things to do and places to eat. The location is very convenient for walking into town for shopping and meals. I don't know if we'll ever get back to Vermont, but if we do, we will definitely stay here!

We had our wedding in the celebration barn at the Inn at Manchester! It was THE PERFECT WEEKEND! Nancy, John, Bryan, and Gabi worked closely with us every step up the way to help our wedding visions come to fruition. They were super flexible and worked with us to customize the bar menu, spoke with our vendors to help coordinate set up, and made sure that everything day-of went smoothly. We feel like family and couldn't be luckier to have the Inn as a special place to visit in the future. THANK YOU TO THE ENTIRE TEAM! Everything was perfect.

What a great inn to call home for a few days! Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful and our room was spacious and comfortable. The linens, mattress and towels were top notch. The breakfasts were made to order, featuring a daily hot special with eggs, bacon, sausage and fruit available as a substitute or combination. It was nice that they offered seconds if we wanted. The main house has 3 large common rooms in which you can relax. They have a big selection of games and jigsaw puzzles to borrow. There is also a swimming pool on the property. We look forward to staying here again next time we visit southern Vermont.

Too many good things to say and list. But some of the highlights... extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable. The main house was comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious. Cottage cheese pancakes were great. The Inn will definitely be our first choice next time we are in town.

As a makeup artist local to the area, I get to work at many of the wonderful venues in Manchester, Vermont.I will always remember my very first morning at the Inn at Manchester..Not knowing anyone or where to set up, I was immediately met by a warm and friendly smile. The Inns best kept secret, Nancy!!She welcomed me as though I wasa guest. Offering to help me get situated and kindly letting me know that she was available should I need anything throughout the day. When I hear a bride tell me that she is having her special event at the Inn at Manchester, I know right away that it is going to be a great experience.Given the exceptional care couples and their families receive from the wedding team at the inn, my brides are always happy, calm, relaxed and share feeling 100% confident their wedding day will be everything they envisioned. My brides reflect that the feeling you are among family at the inn is what truly makes their experience so special.

Left this place a review in the fall of last year... seems to have somehow gotten removed! Interesting move.My brother had his wedding here any everything was nice except for the small details that they seem to leave out while booking.1. Almost zero help during clean up. The chairs and tables were the only thing they touched.2. Nothing mentioned about trash disposal which was left entirely up to us and we received zero notification or assistance from them.3. The best part of all.... They gave someone who was gluten free bread with gluten in it and TOLD HER it was gluten free. Not so long after she was very sick and the suggestion of the staff? "Could you throw it up? Class act and definitely NOT how a gluten intolerance works.

The Inn at Manchester is phenomenal. My wife and I just had our wedding here and I can't even begin to explain how excellent every aspect was. The owners, staff, service, grounds, and atmosphere are all superb. They bent over backwards to accommodate and accomplish everything we wanted. It basically felt like the entire event from the rehearsal to the reception ran itself. But, it was because Nancy was handling issues before they even occured. Brian was very understanding and extremely helpful also. The entire staff is very warm and pleasant. Virgil is another gem. If you're planning a wedding in the area, just stop looking, move your date around if you have to. You won't get this level of service or value anywhere else. The staff is knowledgeable, and has many local relationships that help you to find vendors as well as recommendations on group activities or restaurants in the area. Did I mention the Inn and the grounds have incredible views? My wife and I are still beaming and hope to be back in Vermont very soon!
